HOW TO: Paper Feed Adjustment (SG500/1000)

If horizontal lines are printed unaligned, printed images are patchy, or black/white lines are visible at regular intervals, then print a paper feed test pattern, and then adjust the paper feed setting as necessary.
STEPS:
1. Press the [Menu] button.
2. Press the [▲] or [▼] button to display [Printer Features], and then press the [OK] button.
3. Press the [▲] or [▼] button to select [List/Test Print], and then press the [OK] button.
4. Press the [▲] or [▼] button to display [Adjust Paper Feed], and then press the [OK] button.
5. Press the [▲] or [▼] button to display [Print Test Pattern], and then press the [OK] button.
6. Press the selection button for [Print]. A test pattern to adjust paper feed is printed.
7. Check the optimal adjustment values on the printed test pattern.
8. Press the [▲] or [▼] button to display [Adjustment], and then press the [OK] button.
9. Press the [▲] or [▼] button to enter the adjustment value (-14 to +14) from Step 7, and then press the [OK] button.
NOTE: If black or white lines still appear after the adjustment, keep adjusting the value by 1 and executing "Adjustment".
If black lines appear, increase the adjustment value.
If white lines appear, decrease the adjustment value.
Keep adjusting the value and executing "Adjustment" until the black or white streaks disappear.

This is very stressful. There is no help! Very frustrating!!! No matter what I do the lines are still broken! I really regretted buying sawgrass!!!
