This song reminds me of being a kid and listening to this song in the room right next to my dad and praying he would hear the message through the wall as he continually ignored me. No such luck. But I guess I’m luckier than a lot of kids that he was physically present, if not emotionally.

I can relate to this song as I am about the same age as Phil and we probably were very much alike. I think back about those days and miss my dad a lot as he was a wonderful human being. In 1996 my wife was pregnant, I have a tape with the song Another Day In Paradise. The song sound three times and then sounds the other songs. My bay born and five years later I found my Phill Collins tape so I play it in the house radio cassette recorder and my son inmediatly said: LISTEN!! He recognize the song ! From that moment I started to call him THINK TWICE because that's the words he recognize from the song. Now he's 26-year-old and usually tells me : dad, these songs are for you, love you. And plays Phill Collins on his phone, while we have a very comfortable conversation.
