This makes me think of my grandma's final hours and what was going on her head before she took that final breath. This really breaks my heart as it makes me think of something I lost. My heart goes out to GH for writing this as it's so authentic and true to form.

I agree. Sonny are better as a team than apart. Jax needs to stay away and back off. Sonny Carly need a reset on there marriage ,Carly needs to rely on Sonny not Jax. Jax got Nina snowed while he sniffing around Carly. He don't want to stir the pot w Sonny so he need to stay away from.carly. Carly wouldn't be in this mess if she hadn't listened to Jax. He just manipulating her. This scenes with Mike are beautiful. I hope Carly stays committed to Sonny and her marriage just stay away from Jax. Why must carson.have all this upheaval. Sonny is gonna need his wife and his family. If Carly leave Sonny after Mike passes then she trash just like Jax. That's a terrible thing to do. I'm going to miss Mike so much, this story is really touching, these scenes with Max Gail (Mike Corbin) & Maurice Benard (Sonny) have been SO accurate. I have 2 aunts going through Alzheimer's, even though it isn't as advanced as this, the way they've treated & done this storyline has been tastefully done. This is one of the reasons why i LOVE #GH
Mike/Max and Sonny/Maurice have truly earned an Emmy for their performance this week. I've cried my eyes out. It's like when my mother-in-law died in the nursing home. She was surrounded by family and love, but was in pain and hanging on. I leaned over and softly told her the family is here, you are surrounded by love, it's ok to let go. When you get to heaven, tell your husband I said hello and send my love, and if you see my grandfathers tell them I said hi, and send them my love. And I promise to take care of your son, and love him forever. Fifteen minutes later she passed away. She just needed permission to go, to know it was ok to leave now. It broke my heart, but nobody else would do it. I needed to be as good of a daughter-in-law as Ruth.
Our loved ones really DO need permission to go. My Mom died on an Easter Sunday and when I left the hospital on that Saturday night (the last time she had any sense of consciousness) I wished her a Happy Easter and said "if the Easter Bunny comes too early tomorrow morning, I'll tell him not to wake you up". She passed away a little after 1 pm the next day but waited until her best friend made it there after church. My Mom's friend couldn't have left her hospital room and had the elevator doors shut longer than 2-3 minutes when my Mom took her final breath. Thank you GH for a wonderfully written and acted performance. Daytime Emmy's should be coming to ALL of you who participated in this story line.

I Know because ALZHEIMER'S hit my family to. I was young but I remember the mind change's it took my family through. But life goes on. And only the Strong survies.

Hi Chelsey Tabor, Did you tell your doctor? They might be able to do some tests on you to see if it's hereditary; and start preventative measures for you, and your children. My maternal grandmother had senile dementia. I've been forgetful my whole life. I'm scared to death I'll end up like Grandmother. I don't have medical insurance any longer, and can't afford testing. I have to write things down, and set alarms on my phone, so I don't forget things. I can't even afford the fish oil anymore. Do what you can to help yourself out before it's too late.
