They couls have easily imported the unleashed shaders into generations but no. But to be fair i'm sure most of the budget was used on the shadow part lol
@JuicyPolarBear that was in the original game as an unlockable music. Honestly not sure why they changed it from the original one on GBA, but compared to other remixes they done in this game as unlockables, it isn't bad
Yes, and where are the other important mods like BetterFxPipeline and Soft Shadows? With them you can have directional and soft shadows, plus these will blend with the other shadows and all objects will cast shadows. They can also reach 8k resolution and the terrain can have real-time shadows.

@@icee113 Basically, Shadow Generations use Forces animations instead of the default Sonic Gens animations. I’m sure everyone hates Forces because of level design and whatnot, and for me the animations as well because they are very basic and more cartoonish (by that it’s not as realistic as Unleashed or Generations and does not fit Modern Sonic well) which already suck as it is. And since the first trailer of Sonic x Shadow Generations was released, I’ve noticed that the Shadow campaign uses Forces animations. On top of that, Takashi Iizuka has confirmed that Sonic will appear in Shadow’s campaign, most likely with the rival battle. That is, for me, all the more reason that they should have used the original animations for authenticity
