Sultana Hürrem walks towards the power.

Sultana Hatice catches Nigar as she is about to escape. Hatice asks her what happened between İbrahim and her. Nigar denies her affair with İbrahim. She tells her that the baby she carries is Nasuh Efendi's. Hatice can't decide what to believe. She decides to face with Hürrem.
Sultan Suleiman teaches a heavy lesson to Prince Mustafa who prepares going to sanjak. Prince Mustafa is sent off with a glorious farewell.
İbrahim reaches to The Master after a violent conflict. However, he sees someone he has never expected in front him.
At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

Hatice never truly understood what a liar lbrahim was. She continued blinding herself. Sad.
Same did with Nigar. Ibrahim made them both view him as a saint or something. He made them think he's the most important person in their lives. And in the end, they both killed themselves for not being able to live without him. It's horrible

My only guess is he was very charismatic. Plus people like mahidevran frequently needed his power and closeness to the sultan.
As soon as he said, "Here me this once", you just knew he was going to take advantage of how broken she felt and slither back into her heart. He did it for YEARS and tried to say, "Oh, but it ended months ago" and "I was so lost and tried to forget that day". She wasted those years, dude. Can't get them back. And if you really loved and trusted her, you would have been more open about your troubles over those years. The fact that she had to find out after all that time and FINALLY be successful in pressuring you enough to tell the truth before you ever spoke a word about it speaks volumes about your character.
What a venomous snake.
Imagine if she'd actually been able to properly process what a terrible person he was and actually gone through with divorcing him instead of shooting the messenger. Meanwhile Ibrahim keeps hurting the people he supposedly cares about and gets away with it.

@@user-gp3xf7jp9n Not just her. Although she did encourage Hatice to stay with Ibrahim because it benefitted her and Mustafa. And she encouraged Hatice to see Hürrem as a cartoon villain. But Hatice was too blinded by her privilege and her obsession with Ibrahim to understand the realities and the pressures that Hürrem and Mahidevran faced as the mothers of princes.

Poor Nashun. He keeps getting caught in really bad situations. At least hatice was in enough of a powerful position she could divorce him and wreck his life. Most women could not. They were forced to bear with that.
Hatice basically has great power, even by birth, but her brain doesn't follow. She's too fragile and emotional.

He knew she was obsessed with him. He needed her to get into the family and a higher power structure he couldn't get as a mentor to Mustafa. I believe he would have eventually disposed of Sulyman and all his sons so he could place his and Hatices son on the throne and rule as Regent. His ego and greed ended him.

Hatice for me. She has no reason to have clung to such a destructive man. Mahidevran at least gave up on Suleiman after he married Hurrem and decided to pursue power by enthroning Mustafa. Her rivalry with Hurrem was to make sure in the end she'd have the top position. And well we can't really blame her for looking for patrons before confronting Hurrem. Hurrem had the most powerful man in her corner. Mahidevran needs all the help she can get to level up 😂😂 What's Hatice's excuse?? A woman with privilege and who any man would be lucky to have chose instead someone so unworthy, he eventually destroyed her. Lied to her, cheated while she grieved for their lost son, cheated while she was having the twins, cheated for years, lied, hid the truth that he'd impregnated another lady. In this episode? Nah, there was a reason for her to cry. Mahidevran KNEW suleiman would have a harem and sleep with other women, she had no say over it , all she had to do was let go of suleiman and live a life of luxury with her son. Hatice and Ibrahim’s marriage EXPECTED faithfulness, Ibrahim isn’t a sultan, he’s not allowed to have a harem as far as I can tell, he let power get to his head and he thought himself equal to the sultan deep down just because he’s a favorite friend. Besides, the fact tahg Ibrahim was hiding what he was doing shows he KNEW he was doing what he wasn’t supposed to
I wish the sultanas sided with Hurrem. Yes, she's done terrible things as well, but it is true that her enemies didn't reveal what they did and always got away with it. I wish her husband's sisters would have seen mahidevran's true colors right away. I also wish that hafsa/daye/suleiman would have told hatice about ibrahim's wrongdoings sooner, but I guess even then Hatice wouldn't listen or care. In the end, her sensitivity/insecurity and obsession with Ibrahim & Hurrem not only made her life miserable, but she had also left her children behind in a toxic world just for revenge.

@@kelseyoconnor3951 yep as I said many times, mahidevran ended 2/3 of dynasty, shedestroyed the whole suleimans family. Only his wife , Selim and mihrimah escaped. Sadly mehmed, cihangir and Beyazid had the same fate as the other dynasty members because of her, even her own son Mustafa, all for power and throne, just for valide sultan position.
Realistically, the Sultanas would have sided with Hurrem, but the writers are creatively bankrupt so they'd used the Sultanas for drama instead.
@@princess7jasmine historically they did. Hurrem was well liked and Hafse LOVED her. Valide offended her once and apologized for days. She was the first in the sultanate of women and a political ally. The drama is awesome but you have to separate it from history. There is a scene where Suleiman finds Hurrem listening to council meetings, and is furious. In reality he had the chamber built for her so she would be able to listen and later give her opinion.
Hatice can’t even think for herself. lbrahim kept lying her and she never saw his true intentions.

Honestly seeing how the majority of the comments are blaming Ibrahim makes me cringe. I’m guessing most of you guys haven’t really payed attention to why he even cheated on her. He never really liked nigar in the beginning so why would he cheat on hatice with her? It’s only because during his marriage with hatice, Hatice would constantly remind him that she’s from a royal family and she could destroy him and his title at anytime, which hurts any man’s ego. That’s why even Ibrahim himself mentioned this in some episodes and if I remember right it was when he gave all of his title back to Suleiman and went away to live in some hunting lodge for awhile and it was there when he told his brother how much all of the sultanas treated him like garbage all the time. I’m not saying what he did was right (I’m pretty much a feminist myself actually) but Hatice had it coming all because of her arrogance and selfishness.
