BEAUTIFULL CAKE: what technique do you recomend for a poodle? fondant or buttercream
This might depend on what you prefer working with. Both would give good results, I would personally opt for fondant because I feel more comfortable working with it, but saying that I bet you could get a really nice effect with buttercream.

Hi Zoe . Great tutorial. Can I ask what depth are the layers you use?
Its a long time ago that I made this one, so I’m not 100% sure but I would say each layer of cake in the body is probably just over an inch deep.

Can you make it with fondant?
I'm trying to make this but am confused on the size and amount of cakes and the layers. So everything we didn't see in video I guess. 😂 I have made two 5 " and two 6" cakes but I tried making this a year ago and had probs with the set up so want to make sure this time. If anyone can help explain I'd appreciate it very much!
Hello, sorry it's been a while since I made this but it looks like I used 3 layers on the body (6 inch) and 2 layers for the head (5 inch). Hopefully that helps
