I was a little surprised by this performance. Billie did an amazing job on this. She hit those ghostly notes beautifully. She kept to the originality to the piece instead of making it her own. And I'm happy to see she's finally shredding off her baggy clothes and becoming more comfortable on stage and in her own skin. As a teenager I was the same way. I'd wear baggy clothes to hide my body. But when I got older I started to wear more form fitted clothing. I guess we all blossom differently :) My favorite cover of this song is honestly done by Amy Lee or "Evanescence". The song sounded like it was made for her 20 years earlier. And when she did the cover she made it come alive with her lovely voice filling it with mystery and made it alluring!
This song is part of my life 💜 I love all the versions (Catherine O'Hara, Fiona Apple, Amy Lee, Helena Bonham Carter, etc) and Billie Eilish is truly an angel 😍
I wish she'd sing more solidly like she did here more often. She used to a lot more earlier in her career. The way she normally sings is pretty but it doesn't show what her voice is actually capable of very well.
