I love that version so much! Especially when she started playing the harp at the end. It was a bit more gothic, which speaks more to my soul. Billie's version is closer to the original, which brought back memories.
People are forgetting she grew up in performance arts and are surprised she can change her voice and mannerisms. Same with Ariana. They were born to perform and transform. I'd like to see Billie do some Broadway for sure.

Mezzo-Soprano....what? What a range she has. OMG...her voice was made for that part! Amazing. I can see her being an EGOT winner for sure. Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony.
Her voice has changed dramatically. It seems her voice got fuller, not so teen sounding but more adult, maybe puberty changes, idk, but this was really professional. She's evolved really well in the last couple of years.
It's just the way she's singing. And this is a better song than most of hers, her voice actually fit this song well
she's never really used her voice. she was always at half volume, so when she belts or sings her fuller 'true' voice comes out. you can even compare this to how weak her James Bond song was. I'm so glad she's embracing her voice and getting more comfortable.

I got a cat at 2yrs old, and named him after this Jack, as he was black and white all over. 20yrs later he passed away just before this past halloween. For 20yrs that boy was my entire life, heart and soul, and I am still entirely lost without him. This song brings back so many memories for me and hearing it delivered this way, just as Amy Lee’s version, has brought me to an entire puddle of tears. I miss my boy so endlessly, but thankfully, I have many beautiful things to remind me of his unique soul, like this song 🤍🖤
