I’m so glad that the Heavy D boys happened across Allan’s compound all those months ago. He’s a hard working genius who needs some structure and focus in his life. You guys have given him a support system. Peace.
I totally agree he treats his Viewers like family and the heart of gold his momma gave him and helped so many people... He has a Awesome team of workers/friends.. I Enjoy every video he post... I could be having a really hard day and they all make me laugh
You can tell he really cares because he even told his friend that his hoarding stuff that he won’t use can be hurtful and that he will have a clean slate to start again.
I’m brand new to the list but I love big vision guys like Allen. We’re missionaries over here and as a semi retired couple working over here in Ireland working with church plants, recovering addicts and prisoners, SO we don’t have much money but I want to give some moola to help out. Give me the way to send money, please.
It's amazing to see how this journey has gone alan has gone from just a guy with a cool place they wanted to explore to a full on member of the diesel bros family as tragic as this is it's still awesome to see everyone coming together to help him get everything sorted out
Only if it's done responsibly. He deserves it 'cause he's a good guy and a hard worker, but there's no sense in rebuilding for him if he's just gonna cram everything into an open shed and wish for the best again.
Hey Alan, I know nothing can replace the things you've lost, especially the sentimental things. You've added so much to this channel, and you're loved by all of us who watch. Stay strong my friend.
Alan is literally one hell of a guy! From being a construction genius to his loyalty and personality. This video literally made me tear up. I do not care who thinks I'm weak for it. If you watch Dave sparks from the Diesel Brothers to his personal channel and have gone the whole journey with them then you would grasp what happened. Dave is correct he's family and blood couldn't couldn't them anymore closer in my opinion. I haven't lost everything like him but I know what he's going through! Your an amazing person Dave and honestly I look up to you in your work ethic to charitable causes
I feel his pain, my wife and I lost our house to a fire 2 years ago, a month before our first child was born, and we lost everything. If it hadn't been for amazing people to help us, people like you Dave, we wouldn't be where we are now. Thoughts and prayers go out for my favorite wizard and I'm glad he has an amazing friend like you to help him through it! Just keep your head up Alan!
Such a devastating loss! My daughter and son-in-law only had time to each grab a child before their house and entire contents burned to the ground. They had just taken pictures the week before of their entire house contents because my daughter wanted to “be prepared “ for an emergency. It took 5 years for them to rebuild.
I was up at the hurricane recovery with my wife and kids and watched you helping other people in my town and have watched lots of your videos of you doing the same type of thing. Appreciate your Christ like effort to help everybody with your gifts.
@@Org80 nobody would do that. Not even someone trying to commit insurance fraud. Between the vehicles, parts and tools in there there's easily 500k-1mil worth of shit in there. To add on insurance won't even pay for something like that.
@@Org80 so did you listen to him at all? He said his friend called him saying it was on fire. You assume it was someone setting a fire? What is the response time for a chopper to get there with a loaded bucket? You think if someone set the fire they'd stick around? You see how dumb that sounds?
Hang in there Alan. I had this happen to my shop in February and lost everything. The devastation subsides but the rebuilding feels overwhelming. Take it one day at a time.
Alan you're getting up there with me bud. Lost my wife then my only son 2 years later, diagnosed with stage IV throat cancer and then my house burned down a few months ago and my spouse left me and kept the insurance proceeds for our home and the contents. You're not the only one bro... at least you've got some solid friends helping you with your recovery.
"Now you've got a bigger support group than you've ever had, so you're not going to be doing this by yourself" Dropped a tear right there. You guys are angels!! Look like bikers, but hearts of gold! No man could ask for better friends!👊💪
Now is when you find out who is with you and your who your friends are. Remember what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. And you have great family on your side.
Not at all! It's the visual I'm referring to. I've been in bands hired to play private parties for biker clubs twice and was given every courtesy and respect! They know how to get shit done well! The stages and accommodations they built were amazing! The power to the stage was 100% professionally done ✔ It was a total blast! It's partly Hollywood, and partly Tank Abbotts fault. Lol, but Heavy D looks like he might just as soon laugh at you as help you out if you were effed. No disrespect meant to riders. And really glad AF that Dave's got a heart of gold. Cheers
MORE ALAN, MORE COMPOUND!! This whole complex is amazing. So much content about so many different fields, construction to wind turbines, too many to list. This is gold for HeavyD And Alan. Show us how you build it, your though process, the logistics, laying conduits, laying the blocks. Don't gloss just show its being built and all the highs and lows in between. This is a rare glimpse into a rare person like Alan and yes you HeavyD.
It’s sad. I had to help out my friend once when his house burned down. He was in the same state as u Allen, overwhelmed and barely able to sift through things. We got a dumpster and the skid steer and excavator and cleaned it up. It’s a hard thing to do but it helped him to move forward. I hope the work you guys did will help Allen to move forward too.✌️
WE WANT WAYYYY MORE CONTENT HELPING BUILD THIS WHOLE COMPOUND!!! Seriously would be a hell of a series building the house right through occupancy! Think of Matt's success building the abandoned mansion...this would be just as popular and would attract a whole new type of viewer interested in construction...
@@CousinLarrySitsThere to be clear, the reason we want more content is because we love Alan and want to see him finally find light at the end of the tunnel that is that monstrous project! I saw his situation early on and could tell the project at its current pace may never be completed in his lifetime. I can't imagine how that made him feel. Every year slipping away, him getting older and the pace of the project slowing. The weight of that must be immeasurable. So sad to see this setback, but excited to see the project leap forward thanks to HeavyD and crew and all of the viewers gobbling up this content!
Alan is such a great addition to the team really sorry to hear this. Hope y'all help him build it back better even though you can't replace a lot of what he lost.
How kind of you to help this man out. He was so sad he lost his family possessions. Through the grace of God and HeavydSparks I’m sure he’ll get back on his feet again. Thank you for paying it forward! ❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️
Sorry to hear about Alan's loss. The world needs more great people like you guys. Thanks for the good thing you guys do for others and for the environment. God bless
I’m sorry for your loss Alan. I can only imagine how you feel after all the hard work and than losing everything. I too have lost everything and working on the rebuild. It’s not easy. Just stay positive and everything will work out. Glad to see you had help with the left over tragedy. That at least can make it a little bit easier. You’re not alone. Prayers and many blessings to you guys.
I am a former government contractor that worked for Oshkosh defense. I worked on these trucks as well as the lvsr version of your truck that the marines and navy use. I also worked on the mtvr 7 tons. These trucks are top notch.
Dave, your a great boss and even better person. Who else would go out of their way like that to help an employee/friend like that. The cost to run all that equipment up there alone is insane. The world needs more people like you.
We had a house fire a couple years ago, lost everything. But we all got out and no lives were lost or injured. Now I can say everything was replaced and it was a blessing in disguise. My heart goes out to him
Great thing to do.... I know money doesn't bring back memories and family heirlooms etc, however it will help Alan get back on his feet and buy tools etc that he will obviously miss.
A metal building on a mountain top is probably an excellent magnet for lightning. Lots of lighting rods on the roof, properly grounded will help immensely.
He needs a lightning diverter at a higher point and not anywhere near any important building, plus properly ground and lightning protect his electrical and his building
This is so sad. I wish I was there to give him a big hug. He's such a down to earth, funny, what you see is what you get, kinda guy. I'm glad he's got good friends around him to support him.
This is Alan's hoarding intervention🤣 I can only joke about it because I lost my entire shop about 8yrs ago and it sucked but it also forced me to understand that I didn't need half of it. Good luck Alan, this is the beginning of a new man
Yeah I had my great re set two years ago 40 years of tool collecting gone in 45 minutes all my lathe mill cnc gone plus it was where I lived bloody meth head burnt the entire complex of workshops down , it rips your soul apart bro but it's not the end , I sort of like my new lathe and mill 😢
It might be junk to yall, but it was everything he had. He had a bunch of family heirlooms, guns, and other important things. Shame on yall for saying that stuff. I got a messed up sense of humor also, but when someone looses everything in a fire, you don't make jokes. Karma is real, id be careful if I were you.
I physically felt sick watching this on Allen's channel this morning. I can't explain, but I've loved this guy since you introduced him. Dave and crew. Thank you so much for being there for your friend. I'm all in for whatever it takes to turn this negative into a positive for the Wizard.
Devastating for sure , His shop was full of rare finds of a lifetime I am sure , our hearts and prayer go out to you Alan and Thanks to Heavy Sparks to give you that jump start to new beginnings and new ideas .
😞😞 This is gut wrenching. I'm so sorry for Alan and his loss. You can see and feel his pain and disappointment. You guys are all awesome for helping him and working with him to get things sorted. He has to appreciate you all being there for him. Please let us know what we can do to help.
So very sad, but one great thing to take from this is the absolute overwhelming friendship that Alan has from viewers, Heavy D and the whole Sparks family! This really hits home how much we should all look out for others and Alan we are all with you! 👏👏👏👏
Very sorry for Alan’s loss on the Mountain Fortress. I can only imagine you and your team helping him out was much appreciated by Alan and being there for support. You guys are great!!
man this hurt my heart ive lost it all due to a fire once as a kid and it really took me back to that tragedy and how much it affected my grandparents ...i hope a miracle happens for alan hes a cool dude
Heavy D, Where do we find friends like you? People who care? I've dumped ALL of my friends because none of them care? I care. But they don't? All the bro credit I thought I had was actually nothing? I would move heaven and Earth for a mate like you! Keep on keeping on brother you are an inspiration to all. We need more people like you
@@hak1985org I've given up literally hundreds of hours for free to some of my now ex-friends. I helped a guy I used to call my best friend; shift workshops (entire customs shop panel paint hot rods etc) 5 times! Huge huge undertaking....just me and him everyone else would bail? I did entire month straight never once asking for a cent ever. I had an RX7 that I was building and I wanted him to paint because he is literally a perfectionist👌 But after some time it turned from 'yeah bro no sweat I'll paint your car' to...... 'bro you will need to pay for materials for this paint job you want me to do?' I’m a 23 year old woman doing my nails right now…..crying watching this….and going to have to explain to my husband that I’m crying at HeavyDSparks at 10am. All of my heart and empathy goes towards Alan and his grit.
Everyone comes into our lives for a reason. For you guys to run into Alan when you did, was all for a reason. I think we are all seeing it now. I can't even imagine how hard this would have been for him without you guys 🙏 Seriously, thank you guys for all you do.
Man my heart is definitely feeling the weight of this. I feel so bad for Allan. What a horrible turn of luck. I've been in a similar situation and there isn't any real way to prepare for something like this its just devastating. Prayers being offered up.
Allen, my wife and Ilost everything but the clothes on our backs and our vehicles from a house and garage fire in the early 90's, along with all our pets. Do to pride I had no insurance at the time. With the help of our family, community and gods good graces, we have survived and thrived since. Please know that everyone in this family/community will be there as they are able, to help you rebuild and replace as needed. Good people are easier to find when your one yourself. You have my prayers and I hope to do more in the future to help. Keep moving forward and you never really lose brother!
Dang, man, this sucks! Alan is awesome, glad to see y’all taking care of him throughout this tough time of loss. T-shirt idea: “Mountain Fortress Labs - Fire Brigadier - 2022” With a cool graphic depicting the scene on the back, and like a customized fire dept. logo on the front left chest. Good lookin out, Dave!
I know exactly how you feel Alan. In 2008 my house burned to the ground with every picture I ever had in it. And much of the special things I saved through the years. I understand what you're going through and I wish you the best as you rebuild with the help of your great friends. Thank you to Heavy D and friends for this support for your friend. Never give up.
I swear if I didn't live four minutes from fire protection with Station 4 a few blocks away, I would sprinkler everything. In 30 years as a professional firefighter, I rarely saw sprinklered buildings become total losses. My condolences to Allan. I have seen the cost to people's lives from fire more times than I would like. Having friends like you makes it a bit easier. Cheers.
Scott. A building with a full on sprinkler system does no good if you don’t have water or a pressure system to operate it. There is no well or electricity to run a pump.
As a survivor of a wild fire myself, I can understand how Alan feels about losing everything. Hope he can once again come back from the ashes and start over again. Good Luck Alan. Glad you are part of the DB team and they have your back.
What an amazing Man you are Dave Sparks! Allan is so blessed he met you in his life. So sorry that Allan had this happen apparently again. Dave your crew is amazing! All of the good things you all do is so inspiring. Gratitude for all that you do and all that you are!
May not stand toe to toe looking eye to eye. But you are one hell of a man for taking time out of your day to help others with their problems. Look forward to meeting you one day. Keep it up. Quality content, this shit is better than the movies. Alan seems like such a great guy to know and you seem like the best guy to have around!
Having lost everything to a house fire I know how devastating this can be, I keep remembering things I have lost 20 years later. Feel really bad for Allan but glad you guys are there for him.
Hey guys having a fire is awful. My son & his girlfriend had a fire & lost everything but what they were driving. The house was in our family since the 70's & belonged to his grandmother. I'm so sorry that this happened to you. My heart goes out to you. Prayers sent. 🙏🙏🙏
Despite the sad moment. It's awesome to know you have a great group of guys willing to help out and get this cleared up. I'd say post videos and help financially with the reconstruction of his shop. Lots of valuables lost but glad nobody got injured.
I just saw one of those ambulances at a car show last weekend. I spent more time looking at it and wondering what is history was than looking at any of the other cars. Feel bad for Alan losing everything and I know there's allot that can never be replaced. Keep your head up Alan.
Praying for strength and peace for Alan to get through yet another fire setback. What a great guy, and so smart when it comes to fixing things. So thankful he has ya'll to help him get through it. I would expect no less from every one of you. As much as you help others, you are especially amazing when it comes to one of your own. Family, in whatever capacity that may be, is everything and you show it!
My heart is with you. I lost everything but what I had with me. My home, wood shop. bee equipment. Even had things stolen before clean up. Including all my bees that were in the home yard. Some was not replaceable like by beekeeping logs for the last 20 years. 40 plus years of herbal research on paper waiting to be put on the net. Yet out of the disaster the amount of people that came out of the woodwork to help was mind bugling. People I didn't even know that came to help clean up. The support was amazing.
I feel so bad for Allan. He’s such a good dude and valuable member of the Sparks team. Glad he has the Diesel team to help him during such a difficult time. STAY STRONG ALLAN!! 💪🏻
I feel his pain, I'm in the same boat, I got hurt working and my boss just died of a heart attack, he was a great guy, my job is gone running heavy equipment, I loved my job but I'm about to be homeless I don't know what to do....
Serious tragedy turned around with the best freaking family support ever. You guys are truly amazing. Can’t wait to see the love and support Alan gets because this dude works his ass of and has the best attitude all the time.
My psychotic ex-wife "accidentally" burned my shop down almost 10 years ago. I still think of things I lost and feel the pain beyond financially to this day. When you lose a large part of your life like that it leaves scars for life. I lost over 25 years of my life and I'll never fully recover. I feel for Alan in a huge way, hang in there brother.
The definition of FAMILY and not left behind!!! It's awesome that the whole team is pulling together for him im, sure he's hurting but also happy that he got a different type of family who backs him up...your whole team is awesome best channel by far...
I was heart broken hearing and seeing the loss of his work shop, can understand Allen's sense of loss, you work so hard to get to that point and then have it go up in smoke in an instant. Allan will persevere from this setback, and with your crew Dave will help him through this.
I really hate it when life bites you so hard in the butt you can't think of what you need to do. Obviously Alan is a talented, resourceful man and he'll find his way back. It's going to be a strong emotional and physical blessing having Heavy D and the guys backing him up. Sorry for your loss Alan, bless you man!
Hey Alan I'm sorry all your hard work was destroyed I know how you feel I'm still rebuilding from 🌀 Hurricane Harvey now that was 4 years ago now its never easy starting over but you got a Great Group of people and alot of Support so things will work out brother I promise keep your chin up
Dave, you and your brother are the best of the best of the human race. Kind, generous, and caring are just a few of the words that come to mind when I see all the good you all do. I know that the amazing things you do comes back three fold! Your fans love you all!
hi alan hope you have now moved on from your fire and what a great bunch of guys you have around you .after sevteen years im now living in a shed watching you guysand you have saved me from total melt down .to see the love and respect you have makes me keep going x
our thoughts go out to Allan, strength and honor old man… strength and honor.. you have both.... and friends. it looks dark right now but you'll bounce back.
OMG , just seen the headline and i am devastated in seeing this headline. I have been following his build with determination and true grit. To lose everything in a fire i feel his deep pain. I am very glad his family are there to support him with their trucks and diggers and wishing him all the best for moving on. Yes this was the worst video to see what happened but could be the start of better things. Alan wishing you all the best from Dublin Ireland and stay strong.
I am just happy that Alan has friends and family around, to help with it all…. That has got to be heartbreaking to say the least… You da man Dave!!!!! Your generosity and love of another brother, is un comparable!!! Loved this vlog…
Bless his heart. I would be beside myself with grief and self pity, but he just keeps on going. Truly inspirational and proof the material objects are nothing compared to the love of family and friends.
So Sad, Alan is a tough dude all around and he will persevere. Especially with this crew/family. Not going to lie, 19:27 - 19:41 was a bit of a tearjerker because that is what it is all about. Y'all are awesome and selfless, keep up the great work.
Hell yeah brother. You're a hero. So glad you guys have Alan's back. He's one of a kind and needs some real help to accomplish his goals. Will watch every video with alan
As someone who lost everything in a fire when I was 16 years old, I can certainly sympathize with Mr. Allan. I literally went 3 days with nothing but the clothes on my back before donations helped get us back going. Lost all my childhood trophies and photos that I had accrued from playing sports and racing. Please send him all my best.
I'm so sorry. It's crushing, and you were YOUNG to experience that. Went through it 2 years ago, in my mid-50s. The way it all played out was super traumatic. I've been through A LOT in my life, already had PTSD. A wildfire sweeping through and wiping out parts of three towns wasn't something I ever anticipated, but it WAS my last, worst fear. I/we survived. I don't think it's possible to NOT be permanently changed by the experience. SO sorry you went through it. I wouldn't wish it on anyone, ever.
You guys accomplished a whole lot today on the clean up.. it's gonna help him be more motivated to clean up the rest... After loosing the stuff from his Grandma he has to know she must of been looking out for him to make sure he was out so he didn't get hurt in the fire...
I love that the Diesel Gang isn't scared to drop whatever they're doing to make sure someone in the fam isn't struggling. I just listened to Hunters channel too and HeavyD helped him out in a big way as well. Keep it up! Love the positivity!
HeavySparks crew has proven once again that they are very special band of dedicated people with big 💕, imagination and talents to solve difficult problems. And Alan deserves such unique help. I can't wait for all the cleanups to finish, and fot the Fortress project to progress even further.
I don't use all of my grandfather's smaller workshop tools. It may not be much and Alan may not have his family history, but I'd love to pass on some of mine. Have Alan make a list of what he lost. I'm sure many of us have something we can send.
That right there is how you know that Dave is a good dude, helping a man that is alone in the world on top of a mountain in the middle of nowhere when he could be doing a million other things he chooses to stop his life and help Alan. Good man Dave I wish there was more people like you.
aww man, that's terrible for Alan. Makes it hard to "like" the video, It feels like i am "liking" the video because he had the fire. 😥 I am 100% liking the video because you blokes are awesome. Awesome for helping a mate when he's down. The only way is up Alan 👍🏻
Alan, years ago I had a coworker and friend succumb to cancer at age 42. We were close in age at the time and both had young kids. After he was diagnosed I would walk by his cubicle and often see him just staring at the wall. He lived less than a year after getting diagnosed. Like any of us he would have given everything he owned to get heathy and see his kids grow up etc. Our health and our family’s health is our gold. Burn down my house, gut my 401k…as long as I’m healthy I will rebuild. I know you will do the same.
My heart goes out to you Alan. I lost everything in a house fire 15 years ago. My family and I got out in time but everything else was gone. I've found the hardest part is years later looking for something and realizing where it went. My family was safe and everything is just materials. Bless you Alan my prayers are with you
This is sad to see. My heart goes out to you Allan. On the bright side, you have Dave in your corner this time. But to go through this on your own can break a man. Good luck bud , I bet this time you'll come out shiny on the other side.

@@Org80 so did you listen to him at all? He said his friend called him saying it was on fire. You assume it was someone setting a fire? What is the response time for a chopper to get there with a loaded bucket? You think if someone set the fire they'd stick around? You see how dumb that sounds?

helping someone when they get knocked down
Hang in there Alan. I had this happen to my shop in February and lost everything. The devastation subsides but the rebuilding feels overwhelming. Take it one day at a time.
So sorry for your loss...
Alan is just an absolute legend and he works his arse off. This fire is a disaster but he will not let it stop him.
@Heroinsniffer4life show some fuckin compassion man
@Heroinsniffer4life bollocks nothing to do with it being a run down shack. The best of buildings can catch fire.
@Heroinsniffer4life Are you saying this is insurance fraud, or plausible IF?
What terrible takes by the heroin sniffer
the fire is a blessing, his 3rd to be exact.
Everyone like this and bump it up⬆️
🤗🤗❤️My heart goes out to you 🙏🏻
Man I cannot imagine what you are dealing with! My condolences on your family loss and sorry for your house loss
Dude you are a strong SOB to still be here. Keep it up man and praying for you.
I aspire to have the strength you have sir, stand tall, stand strong you are a great man.
Look like bikers but hearts of gold? Youre saying bikers are bad people?
Not at all! It's the visual I'm referring to.
I've been in bands hired to play private parties for biker clubs twice and was given every courtesy and respect! They know how to get shit done well! The stages and accommodations they built were amazing! The power to the stage was 100% professionally done ✔
It was a total blast!
It's partly Hollywood, and partly
Tank Abbotts fault.
Glad you've kept up. That's exactly why they introduced Alan to burn down his compound and then rebuild it for content
No we dont.
Alan is such a great addition to the team really sorry to hear this. Hope y'all help him build it back better even though you can't replace a lot of what he lost.

Good luck Alan, this is the beginning of a new man
All this was mountain top full of junk
He's hoarding a ton of stuff... correction... several tons of stuff. Hopefully he'll get professional help soon.

It might be junk to yall, but it was everything he had. He had a bunch of family heirlooms, guns, and other important things. Shame on yall for saying that stuff. Allen, my wife and Ilost everything but the clothes on our backs and our vehicles from a house and garage fire in the early 90's, along with all our pets. Do to pride I had no insurance at the time. With the help of our family, community and gods good graces, we have survived and thrived since. I know exactly how you feel Alan. In 2008 my house burned to the ground with every picture I ever had in it. And much of the special things I saved through the years.

Cheers.

Went through it 2 years ago, in my mid-50s. The way it all played out was super traumatic. I've been through A LOT in my life, already had PTSD.
