Recently picked up a Secret War 8 raw for myself (it's on my insta and would enjoy your thoughts, sirs & madams). It presents great, and I have no plan to get rid of it-- even if it graded 9.9. I've thought about getting it slabbed, but I'm waiting for either the inner well issue at CGC to be fixed or PSA to open for submissions. Thank you as always for the video! =)
CGC is cheapening their brand with this move....nothing worse than seeing 9.8 or 9.9 with glaring ticks, bends, and other issues that the book should be nowhere near they are grading them at...makes me suspect to buy any 9.8 or 9.9 slabs
Are you still checking to see if 9.9s are only given to comics in multiple submissions of that comic? I’d love to know if people are getting 9.9s by submitting a single copy? Thanks for the research that you do!
Does anyone really care about this anymore? Feels like old news. Anyone who pays for “NON-KEY” 9.9s or KEY books with lots of existing 9.9s is throwing good money away. Go ahead and waste your money.
I still like knowing new books being added. I’ll be curious what it will look like in the short term with all the problems they’ve been having plus now a hurricane heading their way. I would imagine it will slow down for a little while

Comic collecting is getting boring. I’m glad I switched to OA while back.
I have a perfect 9.8 cgc UF4….still I don’t feel good sending it in. Sometimes CRV damages your books.
