Citrine's 3 + archon continuity + Xoris with Melee Influence is pretty nice. Spreads all the status to groups of enemies
If you use 2 emerald shards on and combine it with her 3 it allows her to armour strip
Realistically, the beam doesn't build stacks fast enough to be worth it unless you also get corrosive from somewhere else. It's an amazing primer ability but for corrosive strip it leaves a lot to be desired.

I've been running corrosive shards on all my main frames anyway, while obviously modding with corrosive & heat on the weapons. So running the archon mods still works for me. Totally right that, in a vacuum, just running archon continuity and vitality does practically nothing on her. But yeah, when running corrosive gear, it makes the strip a good bit faster.
Running the archon mods is a great choice in the circuit, too. Those decrees crack out the 3 to a hilarious degree.

Citrine became my go to once she dropped, she's just perfect.... On a slightly unrelated note. I wonder if DE regrets armor strip on some level. I think I would because the vast majority of end game type builds use 100% or close to 100% AS. There are other things that can be done but AS almost always comes out way ahead. It is just so universal of an effect to take and I feel like they make some stuff expecting us to use it. So if you don't, you're doubly screwed...
Agreed. Given how strong armor gets in higher level/SP, other status(on their own) aside from the usual bleed/viral/heat/corro just can't compete.
I don't think the issue is strip itself, it's the way armor scales past level 500. Beyond that, even 99% strip is just useless on tanky enemies.
@@tomj819 They'll never balance the game around level 500+ enemies. And they shouldn't, since they would have to completely redesign the whole game, in order for everything to be viable like it is today.
@@anonimosd.2872 I agree, and they shouldn't, bit you miss my point. What they should do is make level 500 the max and make enemies harder by making them interesting instead of "pointless number go up but it doesnt matter because you reduce it to zero by pressing a button".
People don't go to level cap because it's fun or interesting they do it because it's profitable and once you have 100% armor strip and 100% damage avoidance there is essentially zero difference between playing 500 versus 9999.
And the trend with turning off power fantasy isn't engaging either. Like I can make the game harder by not modding my weapons but I don't because after playing a good build going backwards feels like trying to watch a 1080p stream on dial-up internet.
@@tomj819 I understand your perspective, but I'm not sure what you mean by making the enemies more interesting. Because they tried that with the eximus rework, and they only managed to make the game more annoying, the longer you stay in a mission.
Your Archon Ember build inspired me to build out ember with archon mods and it has become a fan favorite in my alliance even after dante nerf. After I show them that max heat gauge armor strip is a thing and that anything without overguard basically dies in 2 or 3 casts of her 4 . . . ive had a handful of players invest forma into her. People really don't get how good armor strip is, even for enemies that normally have low armor values, just being able to remove armor in a 40+ meter radius on command feels so good when an even half awake player brings power creep weapons to finish off the eximus. I haven't sent a comment like this in years for a warframe video since most creators just steal or copy paste lazy stuff for clicks.

Citrine deserves all the love just as with Yareli has been since her loyal augment release. There are so many fun gameplay loops and mechanics to explore . . . DE has been doing a pretty good job in bringing older and some of the newer frames into the fold. I hope more positive videos like yours keep coming out because most of the other big WF creators don't put any real time into their videos.

It's more investment into it, but there is a 1s stagger on recrystalize so if you subsume Gloom over her 2 and cap it out, every kill CCs everything for 20s and the world stops for non-overguard enemies.

The way i like to run my archon citrine (with all 4 mods that apply to her) is with a emerald shard wrathful advance build. I use the keratinos with influence, which has a low crit chance but innate viral and i build it for full status +cd, and its an amazing status spreader its range +follow through and with her 3. I use the cedo and fire it into every new crowd which will easily give them like 10ish corrosive procs instantly, and anything that survives will be given a couple more procs by the gem which will usually full strip anything that survives
Basically just a sheer onslaught of status effects, and anything that doesnt get fully stripped will still likely bombarded with forced slash from keratinos and her 1

I've been playing her a lot lately, and she's insane. No Helminth needed! I added two Casting Speed, two +2 Corrosive, and one Tau Parkour for very normal reasons, and I'm in love!
I'm been trying a bunch of weapons with her, but the Kompressa is too funny to me! Just put her 3 out, and shoot the Kompressa. Nothing survives that, and I think it's very funny!!
Her 4 with the Torid deals with anything that dares survive the Kompressa!
edit: Now that I watched the video, I have to say: this is another build I definitely don't agree with. Pillage is great, but using Shards to enhance her kit (i.e. fully strip Armour with Corrosive) is much better than replacing an iconic ability by Pillage. Her 3 is STILL severely underrated, sadly. People know her 1 gives infinite Energy; her 2 keeps her alive; and ignore her 3. "It gives status". Well, yes, but also does much more than that...
Kompressa is such a fun weapon, one of my favorite weapons to use with Mirage.
@@pedromoraes7632 I found out how good it is thanks to Citrine. I wanted a weapon I had never used (excluding levelling it for the MR), and I landed on that one. I still have no Forma, and it's insane!
The build I have on it is for Citrine, but after the Prime comes out (some day), I'll try it on other frames that don't have 100% Armour strip.
If you could share your build, that'd be appreciated. As long as it doesn't require two +2 Corrive Stack Shards, I'll try it.
This much more you speak of in regards to her 3, do tell, I'd like to know more. It giving status is pretty good in and of itself if you're already using CO-type effects, so I'm curious what else it's good for.
@@NuritaTsekuraiyeah no idea. It literally just buffs status. It synergizes super well with literally everything, lol, but her 1 + 3 is pretty free for priming!
I wonder with the increased status chance from her crystal if going green shards with corrosive weapons would be just as good of an armor strip and then you could leave your 4 in the build for CC and red crits or you could go something like Roar for increased DPS.

I've fallen in love with Archon Stretch. Citrine and Wisp, electric Noctua Wordwarden, Xoris+Zephyr tornadoes. Any place I can fit it, it goes.
As a Volt Main, running shocking speed augment + archon stretch (and + Energy Nexus if you can slot it) turns you into a fun continuous battery generator

haha i just though of the Noctua A Stretch idea. But im not 100% it does a hole lot after my testing. But i use a sentinel with arc coil anyways.

Given her identity as being a status effect based frame I find it interesting she doesn't have a way of obtaining status effect immunity. Feels like she would be perfect for it.
Id still slot archon vitality - with crystalize you could possibly go the green shard route since Archon continuity

For me I just use two green shards for more corrosive shards and then using archon continuity and weapons modded for corrosive means she armor strips everything I'm the blink of an eye without taking up a helminth slot

since she gives status chance and duration i thing using 2 green shards and using a corrosive build on weapons or melee influence with 300% extra crit since its now just one cast would be better than pressing 4 alot

you should be testing this in netracl or deep archimedea since that is the new high , in adition to to the normal steel path .
I like the full archon citrine just for the giggles. I am looking for a cedo build to overuse the innate condition overboard, but I can find one I really like I would like to know if someone has one and share it.
Also, could be funny to helminth kullervo ability, how much critical chance it could be?
Crit chance on her 4 is flat 300%, only enhanced by the Vigilante mod set bonus, and maybe the Gladiator set but not sure. Crit chance on Kullervo is *flat bonus*, so you'd have to hit with a melee on the crystal to test which case is true: do they add or does one out prioritize the other?
I’m using Citrine with recrystalize and two green shards plus the Kuva nukor which has a base 5x CD, it works great

I want to free up a mod slot by removing equilibrium but is one purple Tau enough? Would you recommend more or am i not gonna really feel the difference it?
Edit: currently shards are 2 Tau strength, 2 Tau parkour, 1 tau casting speed
I took off auger secrets & added 2 Tau Strength & left Equilibrium on. 2 shards= 30str, auger is only 24%.
I got 2 Tau Str , 2 Tau Green one for corrosive dmg on ability's one for toxin dmg & purple tau for dmg on electric for ability's. I think it makes a big difference for her DPS.
What I did was I kept the equilibrium, installed 3 normal red strength, and reduced the rank of overextended to 4.
Seeing as you have 2 tau strength already installed, you can do the same. Depends on how much you value the 15% range loss vs the equilibrium.

He's right, her lockdown on her 4th ability on a lot of enemies is the major advantage of it.
Good build but I think it's worth mentioning that when enemies are fully stripped, just the combination of her 1 + 3 will kill a lot of enemies even in SP.

personally i do not think the new agument is not all that worth it but using pillage is a pretty big mistake, since archon contuality alone will be enough to deal with pretty much all armor that regular steel path content has to offer. If you plan on taking her into level cap you can do the 2 green shard. Her 3 is an absolute beast and paired with either machine gun type or high crit/low status weapons or just giga jucies the op weapon of the time, and if anything does want to survive you just use your 4 and suddenly they wont. And if you really want to overinvest you can do the purple equil shard(s) and save that modslot for the new agument since it isnt bad just not that great either.

@@zzFlare in 99% of senerios that 99% of players are gonna do, pillage is straight overkill. Yes pillage is gonna be better overall if you looking to do a level cap mission just bc instant is better than not instant, but saying that 2 green shards is completly garbage is also just not true. And besides just slapping on pillage onto every warframe loses its luster after sometime.
using automatic weaponry definitely makes her 3 procs statuses fast enough for the archon continuity to be useful

Archon Continuity gives another status to proc extra damage off of galvanized mods and condition overload, as well as giving your teammates a way to shave a bit of extra armor off of enemies as long as they are in range. For only 1 extra mod capacity on a polarized slot, it seems like a total no-brainer to me.
Archon stretch on the other hand seems completely useless on her though. She already generates infinite energy through her 1, especially if you're running 328% power strength. I don't even know how you could run out of energy enough to need 2 energy per sec when she's already getting like 50+ per sec through equilibrium.
The point is, you can save the Equilibrium slot and run a purple shard instead. It's a free upgrade on the mod slot that also lets you free up another mod slot. Citrine's generation of orbs is so high Equilibrium is mega-overkill but Archon Stretch gives you some passive regen when orbs aren't nearby.
It's weird that the augment doesn't say that it also refreshes her 4's duration when it spreads, unlike something like sonar's augment, so you can keep crystals on dudes forever as long as you keep killing them. While that is very funny and so is being able to do red crits constantly, the crystal spread not getting freeze effect is unfortunate and you really don't need all that crit, unless you really like doing nukor crit memes I guess

Why not put Pillage over her 1 so you have armor strip plus red crits???
Cause her 1 is spammable and can kill mobs fast without needing a weapon. Her 4, although it´s visually good looking, it´s very limited.

The attachments are from the current night wave tier 30 reward. Not sure about the headpiece though

The 4 augment not crowd controlling is a good thing imo having to walk to each enemy while they are stopped seems very annoying

Citrine, what a good WF..
Been out of the game for a bit, but this build is meh.
Use Archon Continuity for the Corrosive procs.
Use the combo Archon Shards to raise the max stacks of Corrosive, to the max.
Replace her 1 or her 4 with Sickening Pulse
Archon Vitality for double heat procs, and Stretch if you want a lil extra energy.
This build allows unmodded, Mk-1 Braton to kill SP Heavy Gunners.
You tag them with the 3 up, get like 4 procs on them, Sickening Pulse and then they basically get nuked via no armor.

Was hoping she stayed under the radar she’s absolutely insane 2 corrosive shards and the archon mod her 3 just does stripping on anything
Pillage stripes 5x faster with 1 cast, aoe strip without needing 2 green shards... her 3 is good for spaming a bunch of status but not that great to strip fast enough, by the time she stripes the mobs around they are all dead. Might as well use those slots for casting speed or another shard that gives more utility overall.

Having to double cast pillage isn't great but if you want to invest a ton of tau reds you can make it work

Zariman
Either buy it, or you can farm it from the Zariman, but that’s gated behind The New War quest. Once you get to the Zariman it’s pretty easily acquired either by buying some with rep or farming Thrax for them in void cascade.
9:29 so the problem I’m having is if this was the prime version of Citrine ied happily throw forma at it but as it’s the normal version and we will at some point be getting theprime putting forma on it while we wait just makes me sad.
This frame looks really cool, but when the method of farming a frame is doing the same thing over and over again just to collect a resource to "buy it," really kills my enjoyment of making progress. Maybe I'll get her in another year or so once I happen to do enough Mirror Defense missions

Personally I think building her has a corrosive weapons platform is WAY better. 2 Green shards and 3 tau red shards for duration with nourish instead of her 1 with recrystallize actually is so much comfier than this. I just use corrosive + heat on my weapons and then with nourish pump out damage. Her 3 does help strip enemies, I'm not sure why you're saying it doesn't? Archon Flow is worth using in my opinion, I never have energy issues. I think you're forgetting that her 3 really can benefit everyone in the team and statuses that are applied by your squad are blasted out by the crystal.
You can do this but if you're opting for Green shards nourish I don't know why you wouldn't just be Revenant instead. Also I said her 3 doesn't do enough to strip enemies with Archon Cont any Warframe can just use green shards with a gun. Also also statuses your team does are not blasted out by the crystal the ability only inflicts basic elementals on each instance.
It took me one second to know recrystalizing enemies (cc) would be so toxic. Imagine defenses. Enemies crystalized in spawn in a loop.
Yeah, I just run her with roar and two green shards. Who needs all that faffing about to get full strip when I can just pull a trigger?

After farming hildryn and most of her resources, I can say, you're better off just crafting 2 green shards and building for corrosive. It will save you your sanity. Everyone wants to advocate pillage, but don't want to tell you about the most irritating farm!
Or you just farm her, level her and feed her straight to helminth. And farm the prime version

While I love Pillage, I don't think I can get rid of Citrine's 4 for it, gonna keep it over her 3 instead.

I just wish this frame wasn't such a pain to get.
I think the biggest letdown with Crystalize is the same issue that Sonar's had for a long time: they don't count as headshots. Sure the damage buff is nice and all, but losing the way critical headshots interact just means you're just better off shooting them normally most of the time...

They both support in different ways.
Nah both are great, Wisp offers speed, fire rate, HP and HP regen, invuln and stealth for herself, damage vulnerability and breach surge procs, on top of whatever helminth you run. I run nourish with energy nexus, combined with 400% strength is essentially infinite energy to spam breach surge/her second ability i forgot the name. Roar can also be insane for a more supporty build. Wisp is also a lot more comfortable to play imo.
This is really more of a I want both of them than one is better than the other. What they give the squad doesn’t overlap at all and it’s all very good

Wisp and Citrine both have things they can do that the other can’t. Both are fantastic “support” frames, but they do play differently.
