End of an Era and new start for younger coaches Pete Bill Saban UW coach for the huskies I would of did the same thing with that impressive record going undefeated until the Championship Bowl game have to take an L then gotta start all over again. Shoot I would of left for Alabama too because who wants to go thru all that again for another season of what if wondering and s***! UW coach he’s right to take the Alabama job. Just start over but with another Organization because that was so sad for Washington!
Seahawks management mishandled this. I’m very disappointed in their decision and feel they have hurt our franchise we love so much. You don’t fire the legend who gave you credibility in the league during rebuilding. Even during the rebuild he still put forth winning teams and made playoffs. How do you fire someone who is still winning during a rebuild? It’s like they got bored with winning and started listening to social media voices. Very disappointed in Seahawks management.

25 Wins 26 Losses. (Sub .500 stretch.)
Pete has only won three total playoff games since the Super Bowl 49 loss, and has also missed going to the playoffs entirely 3 times, that’s 9 years now! Two other coaches from the NFCW have taken their teams to 4 Super Bowl appearances, and both coaches are currently in the playoffs, in that 9 year stretch, while Pete has completely regressed, and gets routinely beat by both of those coaches as well.
Winning is about winning multiple championships, not regular season games.
How many years of ‘rebuilding’ chances has he realistically had to get them back into being legit contenders, and going back to Super Bowls?
He’s had more than enough time, more than enough chances, and it’s the same results every year of underachieving.
It’s delusional fans that keep the illusion alive of how great he truly isn’t, and won’t let go of a precious love for a washed-up old man that has kept the organization in literal mediocrity for years now.
@@Carrollavirus Made post season 11 out of 14 seasons. No other team won more in those 14yrs except Patriots. People get bored with a winning tradition and culture. Grass is not usually greener on the other side. I guess we will see. Obviously, having losing seasons help in higher draft picks but look at Arizona, Raiders, Chargers, etc they couldn’t make playoffs in that last decade in half with those picks. Every player wanted to play for Pete for a reason.
It’s a tough league. We were always in it, with Pete.
