Thanks for asking about High Purity Manganese. It's often neglected in the critical materials discussions.
Cheers
The lithium part is like that rick and morty episode of Pluto is a planet lol
Haha
It is very interesting trying to link the AI wave to mining. These potential Lithium mines need environmental approval and financing, not AI technology.
Latest news is Serbia is about to green light Rio Tinto's Jadar Project called off 2 years ago. This would be Europe's largest lithium mining project. The mine might be open by 2028
I am wondering why all foco is in energy metal. Is it not more importand tô look at new technologies in agro combinations for energy. Potential is imense
Too bad the panel didn’t include discussions related to the Redwood Materials of the world today and tomorrow.
This will come to be known as the century of material sciences, IMO. Therefore all discussions going forward should include materials repurposing and energy storage as they will be critical to ALL forecasting because they may ultimately have the biggest impact on the economics of all related sectors.

Climate Change initiative or not, no one wants to pay more for a car if they don't have to. China did a leap frog in producing low cost EVs. When the jobs of UAW unions are at risk, then tariffs come into play - the only way Trump will support EVs is where renewable energy and the Climate Change accord creates more jobs than what putting up barriers (like tariffs) can do to prevent losing jobs.
Trump recently had a meeting with various top CEOs to explain his push to lower corporate taxes, remove regulations, and MAGA except, all the CEOs could not understand his point of view. All the talk means nothing. It will be the world outside of America that will push America into decarbonising their economy.
As for lithium stocks? They're all at a 52wk low and until we see spot prices turning around, it's not very likely to have much of a bullish case when the whole world is under inflation pressure in a high interest rate environment.
Appreciate your comments. Yes commodity equities follow commodity prices so lithium stocks needs to see higher lithium prices.
