Blundell is an amazing drummer but you simply have to hear the version with Gavin Harrison on drums….the grove is simply exquisite and perfection. But I will tell you I saw this tour live and in person the whole mix live is sooo good!
A leader ! And that is indeed a great song by Porcupine Tree in which the drumming is pretty coool original by Gavin Harrison . Highly technical and this bandmates are BeastZ . Blundell is another great fella ihih , very experimental drummer . Around 3'15" well this is a frickin ' spanish latin type of vibe ! The guitarist does those sixteenth with hands pretty lovably ! What an enrichment totally naturally and 'preistoric' . Beast eh . Love Sir Tra doing the upbeat controtempos with the head . He drives the tempo on the Ride cymbal side 4'53" - 4'54" Whaoo whaoo Tra' you do it again . Good drumming over there !! 7'55"-7'57" ❣
Gavin Harrison's original drum part with this song was epic, but Craig's wasn't bad. Ultimately, it was Steven that presented that drum pattern to Gavin and Gavin added spark to it.
Great reaction again guys! You should check out “ creator of a master tape” live from the same Show, it’s another PT song but everything about this version is fantastic… give it a go Hunterz 😁👍
My favorite song... Though now i know why. Because of Gavin Harrison. If you know it, you'll miss his genius accents and nuances if you here this version. But still a great song.
Actually a PT song from the In Absentia album. Check that version when you a chance. Love y'all! You're awesome!
Yup, and the best version is on the Anaesthetize DVD. Gavin playing smooth as butter.

You can never go wrong with Porcupine Tree/Steven Wilson, that's ALWAYS a guaranteed click from me 😃
That was Beautiful. So glad I found Steven Wilson and Porcupine Tree.
Changed my musical life forever!
That bass in the chorus.. wow
Steven Wilson is one of the greats.
I haven't listened to this song in years, thank you for bringing it up!
Great reaction to a beautiful song. Steven Wilson is blessed with a huge amount of talent. The musicianship of Porcupine Tree was off the charts.
Thank you for this ❤️
Brilliant cheers 🍺

7:40 - JINJER - Pisces
The man's a genius.
Great that you are back to Steven Wilson, never fails musically, never fails lyrically…..
Glad he's doing Porcupine Tree songs still. ☺️👍

Boom.
I was there the night they filmed this! Was an awesome night.
The. Bass. Line.

You should have let it continue into the next / last song - it's breathtaking.

Venue: Royal Albert Hall.
And still the masses would prefer to listen to Ed Sheeran....
Was the next song Jinjer - Pisces in the playlist ? React to that as well!
Do either one of you have any musical training??
Beggs is a fantastic bass player and singer, but the Porcupine Tree live version is even better than this. Drums aren't quite as good as Gavin's.
6:41 - And you do not even hear it... :(
And you have no idea of what the song is about.. And you do not take that in your commentation..
YES, it is a great song but the the message... :(
Best live band I have ever seen. Absolute masters!
