Just love that I've found your channel and the dot a day projects - has really inspired me to get back into sewing. Thank you!
Wonderful!!! 💜💜💜
Haven’t made any dots yet, but it’s on my list. I have been doing the K3N weekly project. Just found your videos videos about three or four weeks ago and I’m having fun going back and looking at some older ones i’m 63 and just retired at the end of February and having a great time getting caught up in quilting and stitching and pretty much whatever I wanna do. I am so grateful I’m getting this time to find other creative people and to learn so many new things. Thank you thank you!
Congratulations on your retirement! Life will get REAL fun now that you have no clock to watch and plenty of time for things you always wanted to do. ( 71yo)
This is amazing! You did such a wonderful job! I love all the different page materials and the dot cover. LOVE, love, love this so much! Well done, Jeri! Blessings.
Thanks Deb! I hope you make one! 💜
Flop flop flop what a lovely book!!😀🍀💖
YES! The last book I made was all cloth inside and it really did flop a lot! I love the paper/cloth ratio, so much better! Flop, crisp, flop, crisp... LOL 💜💜💜
Love it so much looking forward to seeing what you put in it. So much warm fuzzy feelings that we are in this together ❤❤❤❤
I KNOW!!!! I'm feeling the fuzz coming right at me from you!!! 💛 💛 💛 💛 💛 💛

Thank you, glad you are here! 💜
I really enjoy your videos, and down to earth way of sharing your tutorials. Thank you for your company too. (Dots are definitely on my to do list) 😃
Wonderful, I am enjoying everyones company too, I always feel like you're in the room with me when I record! 💜💜💜
Yes! Triumphant yell when you find the hole! 😂
Right! That's the hardest part and being so far away and at a weird angle doesn't help! What we do for those we love! 🤣🤣
Have created 365 blocks, looking forward to starting dots, these are lovely Jeri xx
WOW! That's so wonderful, Keep stitching! 💜
This is beautiful, thank you for the lovely clear explanation :)
You are so welcome! 💜
Exceptionally well-done tutorial Jeri. I have one in the works.
Awesome, THANK YOU! I love that word! Exceptionally! LOLOLOLOL 💜
Thanks for the great video and thorough explanation!
Glad you enjoyed it! 💜
Just LOVE your book! Also am in love with your eco printed fabrics. It would be so great if you sold pieces of this amazong fabric in your online shop! I've been watching your videos for about a month - I usually binge on them. Absolutely hooked on the DOTS! So far I have completed 29 dots & will be posting a pic of them for the group. Loving being a member of ACAG where everyone shares their creativity. Thank you for starting the group and for your seemingly endless supply of wonderful projects. You are always an inspiration! 🤗
Thank you so much for your kind words! I'd like to do some eco printing this summer and maybe I can put some cloth in the shop! 💜
I just love your dot book it’s gorgeous, I have started to make my dots and already want to make the rice bag and this book, so much to choose from
Thank you for sharing ❤
The projects go fast if you have your dots ready. Thanks for watching! 💜
I love your dots.i tried making some.i could not get my circles to look right,so I have decided to change to hexagons.i am having fun doing the stitches on the hexagons
YES to hexes! Whatever works, just keep moving! 💜
You continue to be on FIRE!! Very thankful to be in your orbit!!
Thank you for that really nice comment! Please Share when you can... My community is so encouraging! 💜💜💜
Hi Jeri! I’ve paused the video to say… another way to get your cardboard spine right in the middle is to find the middle of both pieces (top and bottom of your cardboard and lining), mark them with a pen / pins, and then match the marks. Also, I’ve learned the hard way that if you don’t spread FabriTac (or other glue) into a very thin layer, it will seep through the fabric. I usually use my finger to spread it, and I never have a problem with glue seeping any more.
No kidding? I did try putting some on a piece of scrap cloth and it went right through, so you are saying maybe I put it on too thick? I'll try again. Thanks! 💜
Your cover is so nice. Thank you Jerri 😘
I'm glad you like it! 💜
Thank you jerri I may have enough dots to make I love it
Fantastic!!! 💜💜💜
The IDEA of a book has the wheels turning!! I am still unsure what eco-cloth is but I always love it when you refer to it in many videos. I am getting 6 dots in final form to do your latest request for a picture and email with information. THEN the dots awaiting various parts of their assembly can be saved up for a book and a rice bag. You have referred to having 300+ dots of your own....I guess we are in for a wild dot-ride of inspiration. Happy to be supplied with a front seat via you tube...which gives everyone a front seats also...as always thank you thank you. And the blah blah informs and gives my mind a space to process the directions you are giving [if that makes sense]. Also thanks and thanks that you don't take down older videos....there's alway kwandi if dots are done LOL.
I won't be taking down my older videos, but I will be cleaning them up and reposting some of them. Eco printing is using leaves and things in nature that have a natural dye, to print on to cloth and paper.
I'm glad to hear you will be submitting something for my gallery! And I thought of a new Dot project last night, will air next friday! You guys will likely get sick of it way before me! 💜💜💜
Your book is beautiful and I’m sure you will have loads of fun filling it!! I’d love to see what you add to it. I’ve been watching Kathryn’s weekly videos and enjoying them so much as well!
Me too, I watch every week! 💜
Love the journal - it’s gorgeous 😍😊
Thanks so much! 😊 Love your work too! 💜💜💜

hi Jeri! i do love this beautiful dot cloth book. i'm enjoying seeing what you do with your dot obsession! i have really learned a lot from you already. i'm still gathering my things to join you in your dot work. i have also really appreciated Kathryn of K3N's weekly stitching project.you two inspire each other and you each inspire me! all that inspiration going around on RUclips is a real blessing. thank you Jeri! linda from california
Hi Linda, YES, I think it's so important to share, inspire and encourage one another and always give credit when you work off someone elses idea! 💜💜💜 K3N and I go back and forth!
Yet again another video l so enjoyed. I love the attention you provide for us viewers. . I am relatively new to You Tube 8 - 9 months. I am so glad l found your channel. You produce so many projects. I do not know where to start. annette, Bognor Regis, england

That's what I love hearing! Make some dots! 💜💜💜
Your book is so pretty ! I did start this series but fell behind so this might get be started again 😊
No one falls behind, you are where you need to be! sending hugs, 💜💜💜
This is a great project for me to use my 'dots' for. I will not have to make that many for a journal cover. I belong to the Handmade Book Club and will look forward to sharing this project with them. All of the alternative suggestions are great. It looks like you did some stitching on the inside cover .... Annie Lou
I nevder heard of that club. Yes, do please send them to watch my video! 💜
Will be making one of these, so enjoy your videos 😊
Kathy, I REALLY miss making books, I so enjoyed creating this one! 💜
Love this!!! Hugs ❤
Thanks, Go for it! 💜💜💜
Been making dots all afternoon while watching Wimbledon ☺️
That sounds FUN! 💜
That's a great idea! 😂 I might copy you!
Great journal!
Thanks so much! It was super good fun to make! 💜
Very nice, Jeri. I have wanted to make dots with you for a while. I’m gathering fabrics… You forgot to mention that even if we’ve started a stitch journal with K3N, we will surely want to have another journal at some point. This could be the next one! ❤
YES! I like that too! Of course we can't have too many journals, can we?! 💜
I love ❤️ your journal
Thanks Eva! So happy to see you today! 💜💜💜
That is so cool, Jeri. I can’t wait to see what you fill it with. You are so inspirational!
Oh thank you so so much! 💜💜💜 I'm going to put my first piece in it tomorrow!
Ive just started making dots and Im loving it! Thanks for the inspiration! 🩵💙💚
You are so welcome! Enjoy the process! 💜💜💜
I am not stitching, I am watching you like a hawk 🕵️😂
You better! 🤣🤣 💛 💛 💛

Really loved this simple method of making a journal cover especially using an old book as the rest for the signature while you poked the holes. Brilliant! I've been following k3n since the beginning of the year and am enjoying the Monday prompts each week but I really want to try some of your ideas too. I'm 77 and I feel I've finally found my tribe. I am so grateful to you for sharing your creativity so generously. Thankyou from the bottom of my heart ❤️
I'm so glad you're here! I'm tickled to death when someone tells me how old they are, I'm so proud of us! Getting older doesn't mean you stop living and creating. Yay you! 💜💜💜
Oh I love your book. And the ecoprints are gorgeous. As always I so enjoy your videos. I look forward to seeing you like a visit from a good friend. Thank you ❤
And I you! I feel like you guys are right there with me when I'm video'ing, I'm talking to you all the time! 💜
Kathryn @ K3n is going to love this.
YES! I haven't heard from her yet, but she always watches my videos! 💜
I am here, better late than never 😊
She does indeed love it ❤❤❤
I love your book! Can’t wait to make one. What kind of paper do you coffee dye? Any videos on that? Love you so happy to have found you. ❤
Beth B in Sarasota, Florida
I usually use a heavy weight copy paper, like 32 pound is nice... I went looking and I did do a coffee dying video! ruclips.net/video/KWj5LwkGJdw/видео.htmlsi=CaQH5t7aPEPD2QL0 I'll have to watch it, was a LONG time ago! 💜
Can so relate to going out of frame when book binding, maybe it is the standing up, hadn't thought of that. Your arms are not fat, but then I say i have fat fingers all the time so I know you don't mean it. 😂 Also for the hole closing up in the cloth issue, I use my paper template to mark a little dot with my blue pen, your sewline should work. ❤
I was so in to doing that binding, I forgot to look at the camera! Oh well, I saved everyone from watching the very painful part! 🤣🤣 🤣🤣
@@JeriBellini I am always happy if I bind just one signature fit to show! I have more than once filmed the back of my head and had to take it out and do it again 😂

I’ve watched both your dot videos and now I’m going to try your journal cover. It’s a first time for me but I find your instructions very easy to follow. I’ve made K3n challenges over the last 6 months so this dot cover will hold my stitching with Kathryn. Thank you for teaching us and I’m glad I found your channel. Do you have a Facebook page for us to share with you.
YES! You just made me very happy! Please share your K3N pages in the book you make from my video. I do have a FB community, Aging Creatively and Gratefully. You have to answer the questions though to get into the group. Look forward to seeing you there! 💜
I will repeat my comments because I hope you read the book "The Dot" by Peter Reynolds. He shows us how important the DOT is. He tells that September 15th is National Dot Day. Your viewers will enjoy it also. Your dots are to pretty.
I'm going to save your comment! I did not know there was a national dot day and I can't wait to google and find out what it's all about! And I will go to the library on monday and find the book! Thank you, thank you! 💜💜💜
Lovve it all, really,,,may I ask how you do your 10minute technique of your middle page...
I'm not sure what you are asking, can you rephrase it and I will do my best to answer. 💜
I would love to do lots of projects from all sorts of RUclipsrs yours included, but I am doing the 100 day book, I am only on page 11 out of 20 since it's slow stitching it is going S.L.O.W. 😢 I love this project ❤
I get it, we have to pick and choose. I try not to do anything that sets me up for a long time, instead I'm a dabbler! LOL I like to do a bit of all of it. Have fun with your 100 days! 💜💜💜
Wow. Wow. Wow. Adding to my list of to dos. Fabulous.
What a versatile project. I do have a question about the outside of the spine of the book. Is there a way for those stitches to be invisible? I image it would be a nightmare to finagle the needle and thread so there won’t be anything on the outside spine. I have never made a cloth book so am puzzling it. Any tutorial suggestions?
Do you mean the strings that I used to sew the book pages in? Because YES there is a way, it's another type of technique. I'll see if I can show how to do that someplace. 💜
Great. I will look forward to it. Hey, I saw you had a bead store in the past. You still have it? I still bead and love bead embroidery. Use to teach it.
@@dotlewallen6565 I taught so many classes at my shop and I do not have it anymore. Had to give it up after 12 years, hurt my back... BUT I still have TONS of the inventory, story there about that. 💜
Lol. I bet. I still have more beads than I could ever use.
How do you do invisible stitches
I'm glad you asked! A 10 minute Technique video will be out soon! I think it will be fun to have some of these go to things in a simple playlist. 💜
You are so welcome! The dots are a good side hustle! When you just can't manage anything tooooo... you can always make a dot! 💜💜💜
