Another thing going for the Xenon Bow, helping with daily quests. If you have a quest to destroy objects, like TV's or Gnomes, just firing the Bow where you think those objects could be will destroy them, and get you credit toward those daily quests.
Bullrush and punch also do it and you don’t even need to hit into the building you can hit like nothing outside it or a tree or smth and it’ll clear all of them inside
Xenon Bow kinda approximates the target. It is enough to hit close to enemy, and enemy dies . With all other bows it is different, you need a precise shot to trigger the effect or to kill the enemy. That is why it is sooo loved by so many players. It is very forgiving with fast shooting style. And you were right, brightcore is better, at least for me.
Another thing worth mentioning about Xenon Bow is old teleporter trick. It's a pain in the ass to setup and can be destroyed by bombs and exploders, but with a bit of luck it's the highest possible aoe damage in game. It also works with shuriken ability.
Good to see the *redacted* Bow still holding it down at the top of S Tier. Do y'all think it's even worth trying out any of these bows without farrah and/or rabbit raider? I've been wanting to try out the vacuum tube bow but since I don't have those characters I'm not sure it would be worth it.
I should note: most weapons in this game are perfectly usable without a loadout if you need to. Now, you shouldn’t use weapons that way if you don’t have to, but also sometimes you run constructor or something where you don’t have weapon buffs. I will say, I think the vac tube bow is way better than the Bow. The Bow has super low dmg as beast said, and the vac tube does a lot of dmg per shot, plus its crowd clearing is built in. Not only that, the vac tube does insane in water zones (ie right now), it still dominates in nature zones where it’s doing 2/3 its dmg to elementals, and in fire zones, where it’s doing 1/4 its dmg to elementals, it still does decent enough to put in work. So yeah, Vac tube takes the top of this for me.
so the lightning activates farrahs perk but does farrahs perk activate the lightning? also while playing farrah i found that i really struggled against the bigger mist monsters especially if they were elemental, i grabbed a potshot to help but overall still feels like an uphill climb. Is there any way to help remedy her dps? and are other bows good with/combo with pharah as well (that are preferrably different element?) anyways thanks for the videos they really help shape the decisions us newer players need to make with out limited resources.
also i found myself switching to the xenon from the tube when vsing these bigger targets and it seemed to help, idk if its the elemental nature but i swear it shoots faster and has better dps could just be my perks tho
She does not activate chain lightning. Running totally rockin out helps with damage. High powered weapon like potshot should have helped. Be sure to check my BEST PERKS videos to perk correctly!
recently, i've been trying to make a builder loadout, however, i cant find the heroe "powered base kyle" anywhere on the collection book, how do i unlock that character?
I should also also also mention that the Primal Flame Bow might not seek all targets because within a 0.5 tile radius it may target the same enemy multiple times. Vacuum Tube Bow does this too if there aren't 6 enemies available but doesn't have a tile restriction.
@@AttackSpeed407The in-game description already says that only weapon damage will break the effect. So you can stun a target first then use abilities to do damage. That won’t wake the target up.
@@NightNOthers I was mostly thinking about using it to hold a trap-vulnerable miniboss still. Every other miniboss can be taken down more easily without the use of stunning, and will typically be getting shot or melee'd.
6:33 Hey, Night Owl main here. I don't wanna glaze the Night Owl. But is a good bow IF you are in the back lines picking on the small husks OR the regular husks. Up close is really bad cause one. It has a long wind up time which is around 1.5 - 2 seconds when I was testing it. (Even with the fire rate and the reload speed combined.) And two, it struggles against smashers 2/3rds of the time. (If we gonna include other mist monsters. It varies on who we're facing, like takers could be a struggle cause they move around a lot. Or if we're facing mist blaster's or mist throwers. They're a easy pick to get rid of them sometimes.) I ran your build on similar 160 retrieve the data mission 10-15 times and it is good if your picking on the weak enemies. (Husks and Little Husks) It does slightly struggle on the propane husks but it can handle overall. Mist Blasters and Mist throwers does kinda struggle but can still handle it surprisingly. Takers is a hard chore to aim (Thanks to me playing on controller.) and it visibly is bad. And smashers... it's a no-go unfortunately cause it has so much health and night owl has a long wind-up. I used the perks on the night owl: Critical rating 30% with 135% Critical Damage. I used 42% fire rate and 75% reload speed just so I can wind up faster. (Though it doesn't really make much of a differenceon the gameplay.) The main perk is of course: Killing 2 enemies causes an explosion of based damage. 80% bonus damage is optional cause of a lot more based damage though it varies on how you play it. Back lines it amazing but up close. Your potentially losing a lot of damage because your taking a lot of damage so it is risky to use it.
It's insane damage. I think the trick is low health, high HAB, hitting low health target for high damage- to aoe nearby high health target. It's a little tricky to use/pin exactly but I'm glad he moved it way up lol. Less restricted perks too. I know before I had every possible loadout- this was the hardest hitting weapon I owned. Figured it was worth mentioning!! * i get why he nixed it a little but also* I'm glad to see someone advocating for it.
My load out for ventures this season is a neon bow, a vacuum tube bow and a vindertech bow for smashers mostly. I discovered the vindertech this season and it was a pleasant surprise, that thing melts

You can actually see at 1:37 going frame by frame that the Tube Bow strikes an enemy, chains Farrah 5 times and they end there. Her damage does not count as bow damage and you can see that when sniper quests do not progress from her kills. Then continue some frames as the chain lightning snakes to a target activating her perk once more for each target hit by the lightning.

Yes Beast the Instigator Bow does affect mini bosses, not the Storm King and Titan. Its pretty decent to use when minibosses appear too

Any fix for the Vindertech Seeker when the arrows do hit the husks but not deal damage at ALL when overdrawing it?
Maybe you could try a chromium ramirez boom bow build cause she technically gives you a blue roll 50% reload perk (and 13.5 shield per sec for 3 sec)

Vindertech Seeker smart arrows have been fixed, but it still has a blanking bug.
I should also mention Love Song can stun minibosses like The Instigator. Trap damage won't break the stun either, only player damage.
I should also also mention that Primal Stink Bow does apply Farrah to the Stink Cloud once. That's all they intend it to do.

With the instigator, when stoneheart farrah splits the projectile do the targets of that also get the debuff?

@@Saurotar I believe it's just hard to see. Farrah has her own damage that is not sniper or bow damage. The lightning will not chain from her effect.
