First of all, I congratulate you on getting this model of the laptop. You can definitely maintain it, and the most important thing is the battery. So follow the steps as in the video, and the most important thing is not to fully charge it, and also if you are going to operate the laptop for long periods, remove the battery and connect the laptop directly to the electric current, and thus the charging and discharging process of the battery will be reduced. Also, do not leave the battery until it has reached its end. Always try to charge it when it reaches 10% only, no less than that. Good luck to you . And excuse me for the delay in replying. Using the laptop with the battery plugged in it's bad for the battery, or is it worst than constantly charging and discharging? I have a hp 15 ef2126wm, and sadly don't have the option to lock the charge at 80%, what should i do? Thank
Unfortunately, if you will always use the laptop connected to the electric current, this will definitely damage the battery, and in this case, remove the battery from the laptop and use the device directly with the electric current. Because in this case you do not depend on the battery while you work on the device. And whatever the type of battery, if you always connect it to electricity, it will perish in a short time. It is better to remove it and rely on the electric current directly to operate the laptop. I hope the response is sufficient to convey the information to you. This application may be incomplete. If there is an option to stop this application, pause it for a time and fully charge the laptop battery. I will wait your reply
There is more than one reason why the battery explodes, and the first reason is misuse, for example For example, you leave it in the charger even after it is full. Another reason is that you operate the computer at high temperatures for a long time. And it is possible if it has any rupture or fracture that exposes it to loss of charge and makes it last for a longer period, and therefore with time it will explode. And the last reason is that it could be a manufacturing defect from the beginning. In order to avoid this, do not charge the laptop and then remove the charger, i.e. do not leave it for long periods after fully charging the battery. This is the most important thing. Also, you can remove the blanket and turn on the laptop directly from the power plug in the event that you will work from home or in your office at work. Good luck to you
So I can do it as many times as I want? The charging at 20% to 80%? Or should I do like 80% wait till 20% and then charge to 80% and remove cable at maybe 30% and then charge again at 80% and then remove at 20%? Should I do this? Or I can just do charging to 80% and remove cable at 20% all the time?
First, the batteries should be made removable again. I run simulations now and then and my computer heats up. Thats how I destroyed a new battery once, the computer lid was shut and there was a heat build up between the keyboard and the screen.
I only charged when im gaming and its always on 100 procent. I didnt charge it while i was browsing web and it was going down so quickly like in 3 min it was going down by 5% now its just at main screen and its not going down at all. Should i buy new battery?

is it okay to run my laptop using electricity (plug in, not charging) even my battery installed. run it like a pc, using battery in very important times only
based from my own research, it's okay as long as you set a charge limit up to 80%... this means that once the battery receives 80% charge, it'll stop charging and thus, preserving the number of cycles that the battery life has; since repeated charging to 0-100% decreases it's lifespan. you can put a charge limit on the laptop's BIOS or a preinstalled program depending on ur laptop manufacturer.

My laptop had zero percent battery percentage when i got it. Is ot an issue
@@DOITMOSTAFAAHMED I purchased my Laptop September of 2018. I run a bettery report and I was surprised that after more than 6 years, battery health is still at 65%
DESIGN CAPACITY 48,944 mWh
FULL CHARGE CAPACITY 31,905 mWh
My charging habit? I keep it connected to power whether I am using it or not. I occassionaly unplug it from power if I have to use it away from my home workstation. It's connected to power 95% of it's life.
Hlw in my samsung book 3 laptop it has a option to charge battery till only 80 percent and i have made it on. And i have seen when my battery charges to 80 percent even when my charger is plugged the charger symbol goes from the screen
This application may be incomplete. If there is an option to stop this application, pause it for a time and fully charge the laptop battery. I will wait your reply

@@ahmedseidubaba09So what's the update is your battery still healthy?
What about gaming laptops???
What are the reasons for blasting laptop battery
And how to use laptop without battery blasting
Waiting for your answer
There is more than one reason why the battery explodes, and the first reason is misuse, for example
For example, you leave it in the charger even after it is full.
Good luck to you
Hi sir my new laptop battery heath shows 96 health after 15 days it shows 99 health and after 1 month it shows 95 health tell me sir plzz
You have these numbers when it is plugged to the power? Can you elaborate and be more clear?
So I can do it as many times as I want? The charging at 20% to 80%? Or should I do like 80% wait till 20% and then charge to 80% and remove cable at maybe 30% and then charge again at 80% and then remove at 20%? Should I do this? Or I can just do charging to 80% and remove cable at 20% all the time?
Last one is better
First, the batteries should be made removable again. I run simulations now and then and my computer heats up. Thats how I destroyed a new battery once, the computer lid was shut and there was a heat build up between the keyboard and the screen.
I only charged when im gaming and its always on 100 procent. I didnt charge it while i was browsing web and it was going down so quickly like in 3 min it was going down by 5% now its just at main screen and its not going down at all. Should i buy new battery?
There was a spelling mistake (2:28) - (Blugged In)
Turning down brightness was never possible for me.
my laptop battery always go up to 40 degrees celsius when under load (gaming). Is that normal?
No
What...no man. Are you using it in a hot room or something? If so then I recommend you buy some fans
@@DrBlackJack001 well my room temp at afternoon is around 31-36 degrees Celsius so when I put my laptop in under heavy load the battery temp just spikes up to 40 degrees Celsius or more. I don't block any ventilations either so idk. (ill consider buying fans ig

Thank you for your comment.
my gaming laptop runs at 67-90 degrees celcius if i run heavy games
Sometimes I forget to unplug my laptop when it reaches 90 % and my mom scolds me 😢
is it okay to run my laptop using electricity (plug in, not charging) even my battery installed. run it like a pc, using battery in very important times only
based from my own research, it's okay as long as you set a charge limit up to 80%... this means that once the battery receives 80% charge, it'll stop charging and thus, preserving the number of cycles that the battery life has; since repeated charging to 0-100% decreases it's lifespan.
you can put a charge limit on the laptop's BIOS or a preinstalled program depending on ur laptop manufacturer.
That's correct . And manufacturers recommend it. thanks for answering
Great tips 👍I learnt from this video. Now I know that it's better not to leave my charger plugged in.
It's just a hard thing to do for people like me staying in Nigeria with unstable electricity.

Hi, I purchased new laptop. Dell G 15 5520 i5 12th gen 16Gb.From 1st day onwards I'm getting a battery drop of 1℅ per minute. I checked task manager, cpu at 1℅, Dedicated Graphics 0℅, memory 5.8GB, WiFi 0 KBps, Integrated GPU 0℅. No external devices connected while testing reports. Design capacity of battery is 54,891mWh, Full charge of capacity is 52030mWh ( which reducing every next day). A total of just 100 min of backup I get on STAND BY MODE(which is with only display onn and no other function on it) I I talk with Dell and they finally agreed that this laptop should give 3-4 hrs of backup on stand by mode. And they ready to replace with new battery.I kindly request you to share your opinion on this scenario that is my battery has a problem? And if yes then should I allow dell to replace battery of new laptop or should I opt for complete laptop replacement? Waiting...for your reply my friend.
