No, don't worry, Wonwoo is usually really introverted. It just happened that the recording coincided with his return after his hiatus (for his mourning) so he was adjusting again to the cameras and the shows (that's why they didn't choose many parts of the songs where the camera would focus on him so much).
The guy with stripped sweater is Wonwoo. Since he was mourning for his mother's loss during the time of this recording, they made the medley with few lines that his part would come up, so that he won't be pressured much.

@@blurrykpop He is indeed a quiet member, a true introvert ^^ He can be loud and crazy at times, but if Seventeen is being chaotic, you won't see him in the middle of it. You will spot him at the back clapping and enjoying the mess. Wonwoo is known for his deep voice, being good both at rapping and singing, as well as writing lyrics (e.g., Trauma, Un haeng il chi, etc.). He composes various songs, including co-composing Fire, the latest song by hip hop unit. He also directed and edited their Holiday MV
@@blurrykpop honestly it’s sweet that you noticed- if you keep a close eye on him during the video, members keep walking up to him to interact with him as a way to support him in a subtle way. also, woozi is standing next to him throughout this video- even though you might not guess it as they don’t really interact in this video, they are fellow 96-liners (and fellow introverts, lmao) and really close; they’re two of the quietest members in the group but has a very close friendship in each other.
that’s why in the dingo tipsy live video, everyone lost their shit when woozi started crying when he talked about the song “circles” that he wrote for wonwoo after his mom passed. as everyone sings along to the song, wonwoo also starts crying. these are the two “least emotional” members (on camera, as opposed to some of the other members who can cry on cue basically) so both the fellow members and carats watching were shocked. a very emotional video that I highly recommend you watch! link here: m.ruclips.net/video/WK46xeTxMmU/видео.html
(side note: hoshi is a fellow 96-liner as well and incredibly close with both wonwoo and woozi- after they’re done singing “circles”, you can hear hoshi say “ahhh, jihoon-ah, wonwoo-yah…” while sobbing (jihoon is woozi’s real name). he’s probably the drunkest in the video and very emotional in general, so you can imagine how he felt seeing two of his closest friends cry. just a very sweet moment that’s not easy to catch! sorry, I’m very weak for 96-line 🤡
Don't worry too much about Wonwoo. He's doing so much better these days, especially during the Super/FML come back. He recently shared on weverse how every day is a good day. Fans have also noticed that he's smiling more brightly and overall you can definitely sense how much more happy he is, which has been a sight for sore eyes.

The word i would use for Hoshi is CHAOTIC 🤣 He is pure chaos and we love hin for it. The weirdest nemver is probably one you wouldnt expect yet, Joshua! In interviews and things like this he may seem normal but do NOT let that fool you cuz he does some stuff and oh man 🤣🤣🤣 I won't comment much about the Wonwoo stuff as many others have already but he is definitely loved and adored by his members. All 13 of them are so close, they really are like family ❤ Also, since you commented on Vernon singing and rapping, ALL of the rappers can sing and do so from time to time. I LIVE for S.Coups singing, he actually got into PLEDIS from his singing!

as a stay, seventeen is that one group that i will protect no matter what when antis throw hate to them. and we must admit that seventeen has everything..theyre extremely funny, great dancers, and vocals are top tier. its like all of them were born to be all rounder entertainer.

The three chaotic/dramatic members are DK, Seungkwan, and Hoshi. In fact, they have a sub-unit and they’re considered the comedy trio. But actually everyone is wild once you see more of their content! Wonwoo is typically calm and introverted, but when you dive into Going Seventeen you’ll see that his dynamic with the others is really sweet and he’s funny too.
Btw that last song Aju Nice (Very Nice) is a song they perform every encore. A common joke they’ll do is to pretend to leave the stage, but they’ll come back again and again and sing Aju Nice repeatedly. I went to their last concert and they played it for like 20 mins and made some of the Carats dance. 😂 They’re always wildin’
Yes, BSS is chaos, but in this video Hoshi is faaaar from the two so he isn't the one she (and other people I saw) is talking about. It's I guess (didn't really watch the vid, just listened) DK, Seungkwan and Mingyu, they were hyped the whole time 😁😁

As others have said, Wonwoo was just returning from a brief hiatus mourning the passing of his mom when this was filmed, so he was even more reserved than usual here. However, he seems to be doing better these days (he has mentioned in recent lives that every day has been a good day lately) and you can see him as the first one singing in the 'Super' MV.
If you ever want to listen to their b-side tracks in their album, us carats have a trusted source named seventeenlyrics that has a more accurate lyric video translation and the correct member whose singing the lines with names to make you familiarize more of their voice and vocal color.

Stripped sweater boy's name is Wonwoo . He is naturally introverted but at that moment , he lost his mother so they gave him few lines since he was mourning
Woozi is an all rounder. He can sings, rap also he dance very well. He almost became performance unit member during their predebut before. He also really good at playing instruments like clarinet, guitar, drum and piano.
18:09 Run To You was made by Woozi from his love to anime ❤ A lot of fans think it's perfect as Kimi No Nawa (Your Name) opening, since the lyrics seem to coincide a lot with the story of the movie. But Woozi thinks that it fits better with a sports anime like Haikyuu 😅
Still very impressive that we all (fans) agree that it sounds like it belongs to the Kimi No Nawa soundtrack. You can even find some fanmade MV's of the song with the movie.
Woozi actually made it because he was bored and missed the members but they were too busy to hang out with him. ☺️
Wonwoo is indeed an introvert, quiet, doesn't like to stand out too much, but when the right time comes he is very funny and that is why he is my bias.

@@michaelaroskova4793 they used to live together in dorms except wonwoo mingyu who used to live in a separate shared apartment. but they said almost all the members (joshua jun the8 woozi dk dino vernon) dont live in dorms anymore and live in their own houses. Scoups said in a recent interview that he moved in with his older brother bc he needed someone to take care of his dog when he's busy (lmao he loves his pet WAY too much, her name is kkuma). Jeonghan and seungkwan still share a dorm. Mingyu wonwoo still live together in their shared apartment. Woozi moved out too but he spends almost all of his day working & producing in his personal studio (universe music factory).
@@michaelaroskova4793 The good thing is, because they mostly live separately now, so they recently started hosting monthly meetings that are 'mandatory.' Whoever doesn't come has to pay a large amount of money, and they have dress code lol :) Last meeting was hosted by Hao, and they all dressed up looking like a mafia family. The owner of the restaurant was so kind that now if Carats come, he gave them free drink :)
Seventeen is one of the groups I stan where I do not worry about if they're faking their relationship at all. They are extremely honest and authentic and are always there for each other. When Wonwoo first came back from hiatus they had a concert and the members looked out for him the entire time. So trust me, you do not have to worry about members not getting along when it comes to Seventeen.
And I forgot to mention that the last song(VERY NICE) has always been their Encore song. I watched their concert last year and SVT will call you out if you don't jump which makes it more fun! 🤣

Seventeen is literally the most funniest and unserious group for me... They r hillarious trust me🤣🤣....and seventeen love each other so much basically a family they all grew up together so their bond is just so awesome and wholesome... I mean just imagine 13 men living together for more than 12 yrs... Seventeen is literally the only group with so many members (including foreign members) broke that 7 yrs old curse of kpop.. I am gonna say a very healthy group
Let's call HOSHI, DK and SEUNGKWAN are the mood makers of the group. And yeah, they are hyped always, not to mention all the members are hypednas well, but those three's energy is uncomparable. Btw, DK and Seungkwan are the main vocalist who sang the most vocally hard parts of the song, DK wearing black Jacket on white and a denim bottom and Seungkwan being the blonde on with higher register vocals.
Hoshi, DK and Seungkwan also are the members of the Special Sub unit of Seventeen called BSS or Boo Seok Soon, which is named after their real names and they released their first album last year, called SECOND WIND with 3 tracks in it. It was released after 5 years from their first Single as a Sub unit. And their first song's name is JUST DO IT.

Wonwoo more reserved during Hot era but now, during Super era, he became more cheerful and playful as how he used to be. We're so happy to see him laugh a lot these days. He might hv that intimidate look especially on stage but wonwoo actually like a cute little boy that need to be taken care all the time. He is so precious.

Though Wonwoo *was* going through mourning for his mother during this shoot, he is naturally VERY quiet and reserved...VERY much an introvert (an INFJ like Woozi)...and rarely talks on a good day! And for the record, ALL of these guys love each other TO DEATH and would DIE for each other. There are no "cliques" in the group. They love each other equally and have said they plan to stay together for the rest of their lives. That's how committed they are to each other and to CARATS. Woozi actually wrote a song for the members of the group titled "Circles"; and every time they perform it live, he can't finish it without breaking down in tears because he always thinks of Wonwoo. During this year's 3-day CaratLand event, the group performed "Circles" three times (once per day), and at the end when it was Woozi's part, he just broke down sobbing all three times. Lots of videos of it. Those guys are EVERYTHING to each other.
The blonde powerhouse vocalist is Seungkwan, the one who is currently on mental health leave. He was best friends with Moonbin (over 13 years) who unexpectedly passed away a couple of weeks ago. The dark haired over the moon vocalist is DK. He's my favorite vocalist (and also a theatrical actor) next to Woozi! Woozi (5'5" tall, classically trained on the clarinet/piano/drums/guitar is known as the Vocal Boss, or VoBo for short, and writer/composer/arranger/producer for all of Seventeen's music) is the leader of the Vocal sub-unit; Hoshi (blonde wearing shorts) is the leader for the Performance sub-unit and S.Coups is not only the leader of Seventeen, but leader of the Hip-Hop sub-unit. There's a fourth sub-unit...BSS (Boo-Seok-Soon...the last three names of the guys) that's made up of D.K. (leader of BSS), Hoshi and Seungkwan. Their big hit from earlier this year is "Fighting". They're also the comedians of Seventeen. Another FYI...Vernon (NYC) and Joshua (L.A.) are both half Korean/half American. That's why their English is so flawless. Jun (an actor, song writer, professional dancer and classical pianist) and The8 (a martial arts expert, professional dancer, and former B-Boy) are the China line. Most of them have solo performances. Jun is the one who will REALLY blow your mind when you see/hear his solos and the videos where he plays piano!
The two guys who you pointed out for their vocals are DK and Seungkwan, the mainvocal duo of seventeen. DK is the one with black hair and seungkwan is blond.
Also, it's maybe a bit more unusual for the producer of the group to be a vocalist but yeah, woozi is a lead vocalist and also the leader of the vocal unit. S.Coups is the leader of the hip hop unit and the leader of the whole group. Hoshi is the leader of the performance unit and he's probably the one who acts the most crazy/energetic
Svt have diverse sound in their discography. So diving into them is a fun experience. Hope you enjoy this journey❤️
Woozi is SVT’s Vobo (Vocal Boss) - the name given by Jeonghan to him. He’s not just produce their songs but also directed their singing while recording.
Seventeen looks like prankster on variety show bcs they love to tease each other a lot but in real life, they so soft, affectionate and lovely to each other. I've stand few groups before but svt is the only group I can attach emotionally to them. They comfort us from their music and also their relationships. That's why svt's fandom (carat) are one of the fun and sporting fandom in kpop.
Woozi is the biggest anime nerd, and I think they would probably jump at the chance to do an anime op if they could. 'Run to You' and another Seventeen song, 'Together,' are probably the most 'anime' sounding non-anime songs I've heard. Woozi even did a 6 hour v-live last year where he spent the whole time talking about anime.
Wonwoo is doing very well right now, and Seventeen is as chaotic as ever. Don't be fooled by the "calmness" of the others, cuz they' re all crackheads kekeke. As for their vocals and all, Seventeen is Seventeen, and their color never fades even as the era changes.

The Dont lie episodes are too funny to miss they are the best at mafia games you should check them out. The amount of betrayals and schemes they do is unreal and there acting gets better and better each mafia game
They're all very very close. Their bond is really something I admire. It's really different. They're literally brothers. As a Hoshi bias, all I could say about this guy is that he is chaotic, hyper, big ball of energy, a bit nuts but cute at the same time. He is so serious when it comes to performances, but other than that, he's just a pure chaos. The same goes to Seungkwan and DK. Seungkwan is really good in variety shows and DK is super loud. These 3 are well known to be the clowns of the group. But, honestly I think Dino should join these 3 too since he is also super funny. Looking forward to your reaction to Seventeen's full guide. They are doing game carter episodes. Just search for Game Carter Seventeen. I consider that a shorter version of Going Seventeen, since Going Seventeen is an ocean. So to start with, I recommend Game Carter Seventeen and u can get to know their personalities. And as for songs, I honestly have nothing to recommend, since all of them are awesome and unique. I leave that to other comment suggestions 😂

@@blurrykpop Have you seen the Hybe version of game caterers from last year? Seventeen appeared on it as well. It was their first time on the show along with several other Hybe groups like TXT, Enhypen, Le Sserafim etc. Only 7 members participated but it was still so much fun and they left such a good impression that PD Na (presenter/producer) asked them to return for a full Seventeen ot13 version. Perhaps you'd like to check the Hybe version out first before watching the new ot13 one. I would recommend it because they sometimes reference back to it but if you don't mind then thats ok. You'll still enjoy it regardless
Yay! I’m glad you enjoyed it! They’re one the groups whose vocals are amazing live… They have great control over their vocals. They’re very steady and they don’t strain their vocal cords. I’m sure as you’ve noticed, they’re pretty loud and chaotic lol Hoshi, DK & Seungkwan are the most out them all. I love them😂

An easier way to put names to their faces is watching sub unit songs.
The 3 sub units are
1. Vocal-the Singers (Woozi, Jeonghan, Joshua and the 2 main vocalists Seungkwan and DK)
Songs: Habit/ Pinwheel/ Same dream, Same heart, Same Mind/Don't listen in secret/Imperfect Love
2. Hip Hop- the Rappers (S.Coups, Wonwoo, Mingyu and Vernon)

3. Performance - the Dancers (Hoshi, Jun, The8 and Dino)

This way you don't get overwhelmed of trying to remember 13 names and faces all at once.

Thanks for reacting to SEVENTEEN's Killing Voice and I'm happy you liked it! 💙When it comes to knowing SVT, I think it's best to start watching some of their reality shows or guestings at other TV Shows first such as Weekly Idol, MMTG and Knowing Brothers before you jump to Going Seventeen. You can definitely do this offline 🥰That's how I get to know them faster last year. In that way you'll be familiarized more with each member's voice, personality and face cause I'm telling you girl, once you watch GoSe(Going Seventeen) it'll be hard to keep up or figure out what's going on. Like there are times(Most of the time 🤣) ALL of them talk at the same time.. it's too CHAOTIC which makes it so sooo much fun🤣 But pls know that there's no need to pressure yourself to keep up with everything of course, just know that you're always welcome to Carat Land and you are not required to know every single thing or watch all of their content to be a CARAT. But yes he is actually the dramatic (in a good way) one of the group. Going Seventeen's Don't Lie series will show you that side of him. The two main vocalists (DK & Seungkwan) along with Hoshi actually are a sub-unit and are the gag trio of the group

I think one of the facts why you thought Woozi would be a rapper after hearing he is the main Producer, is that a lot of idol producers are rappers. In BTS the rapline produce the most, in Stray Kids and Ateez its the same thing. But Seventeen are all multitalented and all of them have some writing or producing credits.

Hoshi is one of the most dramatic - he's one of the three members in the gag trio (professionally known as BooSeokSoon - "Boo" for Boo Seunkwan, "Seok" for Lee Seokmin (aka DK), and "Soon" for Kwon Soonyoung (Hoshi)). They have released songs too, dropping "Fighting" recently along with their album Second Wind. From debut the gag trio has known to be the most chaotic and unpredictable members - not to say the others can't match their energy
and yes, Wonwoo is typically reserved anyway, being one of the most introverted - but I'm sure you know about his mother's situation by now....
The people on the right side were all chaotic because all of them except for Joshua are from the Maknae line😂😂I would say seventeen is a group full of personality. Once you stan them you won't regret it I promise you! Once you watch a guide you will understand how fun they are. And I would recommend you check out their recent albums like Face the Sun and Attaca..etc..their B-sides are the best! I hope you check them out as well! Even though they have a Vocal unit consisting of 5 members who are the vocalists of the group, they all can sing really well..even the rappers and dancers! They are all incredible dancers as well. To summarise, they are all all rounders! ❤

I know I'm commenting a lot, BUT... These guys have been together since they were in middle school (15 or 16) as trainees for 1-3 years depending on the member. They then debuted in May 2015. They talk extensively in various videos about those trainee days, which were hard as hell for them. There are videos of them sleeping on the floor with only cardboard boxes as covers. The fact they went through those extraordinarily tough times and survived together is the glue that keeps them together now. S.Coups is now 28 as is Jeonghan and I think Woozi turns 28 this year. 28 is the oldest a celebrity can be before they're required to go into the military for 2 years. So I'm sure they're working their butts off THIS year before S.Coups and Jeonghan have to leave for the military. Of course, even with them gone for two years, Seventeen will continue as a group without them until they come back. The same will happen when Woozi has to leave. These guys are "in it to win it", and will do whatever it takes to stay together as they fly to the top.

Hoshi is the most "insane" as Woozi puts it...the most outrageous, energetic and uninhibited. Seungkwan is the biggest attention hog! He does things JUST to get attention! Of course, he IS the most well known in Korea since he's MC for multiple variety shows and has been for years. So everyone loves "Boo". He's even won awards for his MC work. DK has the biggest smile that brings sunshine every time you see it, because he smiles from his heart which is HUGE.
All of them are troublemakers 😂 this group are comedians lol and wonwoo, the guy you were talking about who’s intriverted, he’ just like that but gets along very well with all the members and he’s a bit crazy sometimes too haha but during this time he’s still mourning because his mom passed away.
I got into SVT when I clicked on their dingo by accident and fell in love instantly. I noticed Wonwoo immediately (my bias 😂) but was a little sad that he didn´t have a lot of lines at that time. Later I learned about his loss and felt terrible too, but I didn´t know better then, so don´t worry. After binging their discography, I realized that SVT has one of the most balanced line distributions I´ve heard in kpop, making their songs even more impressive because of so many different voices. LIked your reaction and looking forward to the guide! 🥰
As many have already said, all the members get along and their dynamic is special no matter what combination you see them in. But the group that caught your eye on the far right was primarily made up of the Maknae Line (minus Joshua who is one of the oldest 3 in the group). Most of the Maknae are extroverts by nature and you'll come to realize that Hoshi is the most extroverted introvert there is.

hoshis definitely the most hyper and energetic. hes the one usually shouting/yelling/growling during performances and the members always say it boosts their energy. helps that hes like that as the performance leader, probably gets them really motivated
also woozi's the vocal team leader so definitely not a rapper (although he is an all rounder)

So ig someone already answered why wonu was really quite there, it was a hard time for him during HOT promotions.
Run to you does sounds like an anime ost but its not, our producer-nim woozi is a huge anime geek, so it comes from there.
Andd not only Vernon, everyone of them can sing really well and most of them can rap as well, regardless of which unit they are in. And about hoshi😭 yes he's one of the most chaotic one, but if you start going seventeen you'll see everyone being just a bunch of creakheads😭.

So the reason why I think Seventeen are different from most grp and have great teamwork even though they have 13 members is because generally when idols are trainees they are in constant competition with eo to be in the line up and don't have enough time to connect with eo.. That is not the case for SVT coz their company had normal trainees out of which some got selected to be in SVT a long time before they debuted.. So if someone got selected to be in SVT predebut grp then they gonna debut with the grp for sure unless they leave on their own and they all trained together.. So this created like a space for them to help eo get better and build a team and have that chemistry since they don't have to compete with eo.. I think personally that is very important for a grp that too with a grp of 13 members its very difficult to be close to everyone but SVT are clearly very close.. Carats always joke abt how SVT are in a 13 way relationship with eo and their rings are like a testament to their friendship.. Its so cute lol..
The thing about Seventeen is positions are wishy washy. Yes, they are all put into units, but those are more guidelines based on who does what a lot behind the scenes. They are all great dancers, the rappers sing, the singers can rap. So learning them by their faces is easiest. S.Coups has a gorgeously memorable face and is the first I learned with Woozi. (Shocker who my biases are, with Wonwoo, Mingyu and Joshua…its a struggle to choose)
I find it funny when she said that when it comes to producer she thinks of a rapper. Then i get it when i saw her posters of BTS and STRAYKIDS at the back😂😂

I mean, you're hard-pressed to find a 'normal' one in Seventeen because they can all be a bit of a crackhead when provoked, but I think the best answer to your curiosity isn't Hoshi but Joshua. And, interestingly enough, Hoshi is actually an introvert. He definitely can be loud, chaotic and hilariously dramatic when he wants to be, and he is a performer at heart, but the more you watch the group together outside of performances/MVs, you'll start to see how naturally introverted he is.

I did want to say that you mentioned Wonwoo's mother's passing, but he is often the quietest/most introverted. He is very deep I think and calm, but he definitely has his silly moments and Seventeen really brings that out of him. They also always make opportunities for him to shine even when he's feeling shy. He is one of my biases and it's because he always gives me hot math tutor energy HAHA. Subscribing because I think you have a lot of really lovely natural insight and empathy I can tell and I'm looking forward to watching you fall in love with Seventeen over time. They are truly good at everything.
