This bird ruled the skies for a long time. Still very formatible but the raptor rules the he skies now. Keep up the great videos. As always salute from a soldier.
The Eagle certainly did stay relevant for a long time. And still has its place, I think they are doing the EX version a super updated one to keep it on par with current fighters. I do love an F-22, I actually prefer them over the F-35. I'm finding it pretty hard to like the aesthetics of the F-35. They seem to lack character, but that's just me,haha I do have some strange opinions at times, 🤣
Thanks mate, yeah F-15 are pretty tough birds for sure. Although you are the reason I am nervous around HM engine nozzles now, haha. Thanks for dropping past to check out the video 🙂👍
It certainly is a tough bird for sure!! Why Hobby Master don't do stands like that with that clearance of the ordnance I don't know. Its surely isn't that hard to do or costly. It can be a little hit and miss with HM stands, some models have stands that go through the actual ordnance too which is a good idea. Thanks for watching!!!
Yes the grey seems a little darker than usual, I have some F-15's that have a real pale grey as well. Like all the modern camo these days it seems to be just another of the 50 shades of grey most western aircraft are painted in these days, haha. Thanks for watching!!
Hi, I have been looking into the HM models and was curious if the weapons are permanently attached or can they be removed to customize appearance. Looking into some of the newer releases if that makes a difference. Thanks!
Do you mean the ordnance off the aircraft itself? or the actual pylons/hardpoints? The models come bare as I show in the video and then the pylons with ordnance needs to be place in their slots. The slots would I assume be the same amongst all F-15 releases so you could potentially swap different load outs from other HM F-15 models between different aircraft. You could also maybe contact Hobby Master to buy spare ordnance sets if they have some available to purchase!! Thanks for watching!!
@@heavymetaldiecast Hi, I meant the ordnance off the actual pylon/hardpoints. For instance, would it be possible to remove the AIM-120s and AIM-9s so it's just the tanks with no missiles on rail. Thanks!
@@CP-uq7vd You could carefully crack them off. As they are only glued onto the pylons. There maybe some glue residue that you would need to either clean off or touch up with some paint to hide it a little. Or alternatively you could be some clean pylons and paint them up and fit them without wrecking your own parts from the model. Just another idea!!
@@heavymetaldiecast Yep thenx its IS buy JC wings but what you think about that company i really like their f 15 e tho im planning to get it for winter but whats your opinion on that company
@@heithemnouira5222 honestly they are a little hit and miss!! You either get a great model or one that is a nightmare to fit together depending on the mold, haha. My recent JC Wings F-14 Tomcat is a perfect example of a painful model!! I found the JC Wings F-15 though went together for me nicely and has no major issues!! Their F-16's and MiG-29's have given me a few issues, yet their Su-34's and Su-22 are amazing!!! But generally your pretty safe with their F-15's. Their main issues they have had are poor ordnance fitment and landing gear issues. Hope that helps a little!!
It's funny because I'm not overly keen on the stand for HM F-15's... I don't feel like it's sturdy enough and the stand detracts from the overall look of the model! They do have alternate stands however which attach to the nozzles, looks a lot better for in-flight mode!
Funny you mention that, I just recorded the video for the Mig-31 and that has a stand that fits into the nozzles, which I thought was weird as that's the first Hobby Master one I have had like that!! Should hopefully have that video edited by the weekend 😎, Thanks as always for watching and taking the time to comment!!!👍👍
@@heavymetaldiecast Wait so the nozzle stand came with the Mig-31 model? Interesting! Never knew HM included them with some models as I've only seen them sold separately. It must be because they have to compete with Calibre Wings for which company makes the best Mig-31😂
@@RinsedCheeks It certainly did, its the HA9702 "Blue 08" one. Its my first MiG-31 so assuming all their releases will have the same stand. There is no HM marking on the stand but it fits into the foam box allocated for it and the model was new so I assume its all correct!!. Hopefully I get the video editing completed this week 🙂
I was in this squadron and worked on the F100-PW-229 engines in these jets.
Thank you for watching and sharing. It would have been an amazing experience being around these aircraft for sure!!! Appreciate you dropping past!!!

There’s just something special about a fully kitted out Strike Eagle. Cherry on top being the stand that allows ordnance to stay fitted on the stand.

Another beauty, no surprise there. Awesome!👌
Yeah looks great all set up gear down and open. F-15 sure is a beast!!! Thanks for watching!! 👍
Looks very nice! I like the scheme on this it seems like a much darker gray then most aircraft at least on the phone
