I’ve tried all the other major brands, sena is my favorite. Great quality over all, easy to connect with other riders and I didn’t talk about it in this video but they work really well with siri so you can change your music or send a text hands free while riding
We spent a crap load of money on this so that I didn’t have to have a chin mount with a GoPro. But I’ve NEVER been able to just turn on the camera to take pictures or video without it saying I have to have internet connection. ?? How would I have internet connection for the 50cWi-Fi while on the road? I can’t even get it to work in my own house. Yes, I changed the mghz to 2.4 instead of 5G. And why should I have to open my phone app to use it? Can’t do that while riding! Total waste when all I use it for Mesh with my group and Bluetooth my music anyway. Going to finally get my Go-Pro.
That’s a bummer. We don’t use the Sena as a dedicated camera to be honest. The footage isn’t stabilized like a GoPro. When I have used it though all you have to do is click the button on the bottom once and it should say “camera on” and then you should be able to click the same button again once quickly for a photo or hold it down for a few seconds and then the video recording should start. No idea what the WiFi stuff is other than maybe it needs a firmware update which is done with the included cable over wifi
Exactly. It’s supposed to work that way. But all I get is camera on and camera off, formatting sd card…never get the click of taking a picture. Sena 50s is the best way to go then an external camera for riding shots.

Have you tried bigger cards than recommended 128GB?
No I haven’t and honestly I’ve been using the pactalk more and just running a mic straight into my helmet from the gopro
