For what it’s worth I actually think Glenn is really nice and often super considerate, like asking Mandy IF he can ask details about her job while she isn’t on the clock, but obviously she’d be happy to given who it is, its just hilarious when he gets so angry. Glenn could probably do his own whole podcast on just things that make him angry, it’d be freaking hilarious.

I don't like listening to podcasts, because I only do music when I drive/in the shower/at work. But having the video makes it an easy part of my RUclips video time! I also find it funny that they're all wearing hats now, since they said they're self-conscious about not having hair and makeup available.

Glenn’s prolonged laughter at Charlie’s “internet telephone” that goes completely ignored is the funniest part in the ep. Him laughing at Rob’s angry callback was a close second.
I feel the brain surgery girl. I'm on blood thinners and confined to my apartment for nearly 4 months. Sunny is a great show to watch during recovery. Also, this Podcast has helped me keep my sanity.
It is so endearing (A) how receptive the gang is to the calls, and (B) how great the callers are! These live things are so nerve-racking and can be so awkward but everyone held their own!
Them talking about the switchboard made me think about how funny it would be in an always sunny episode. Like the gang opens and phone help line when frank gets an old switchboard, charlie is the operator and can't keep up with the calls and having to move the cables all around.

Agree with everyone’s comments about how great this show is, and I would also add: this is NOT easy to do and it takes some courage (random callers + no agenda). I don’t think many famous actors would put themselves on the line like this.

I avoided this episode when it came out because I expected it to be very cringe but after watching all the others and wanting more I caved and figured I’d skip through the awkward bits But this is actually super funny and I didn’t skip through any of it. I don’t think any other show like this could pull it off.
My favorite episode is by far Mac and Dennis move to the suburbs. It’s so funny on so many levels and shows the dynamic of the gang is the same in different settings. Mac is codependent, Glenn is always on the edge, Charlie and frank do the things with hats, and Dee takes the side bet after being told not to. There’s a pool guy, Wally, the smoke alarm. I love Charlie’s repeating Dennis’ line later in the show when being told they’re served Mac’s Famous Mac and Cheese: “well I’m your friend and I’ve never heard of it”
This is my absolute favorite episode too! I love getting to see Dennis become truly unhinged. There are so many quotable lines ("MERGE YOU BITCH! YOU DUMB FAT BITCH!" "NEEEEWSFLASH, ASSHOLE!") and so many hilarious dark moments (Mac killing and cooking the dog, Dennis losing his mind at the neighbor).
It's funny how much more responsibility Charlie feels to the audience when he can hear them on the phone than when he just has to imagine them but there are million times more people. It's like he's hosting a QVC pitch.
Absolutely love the idea of allowing genuine fans geek out with any absurd questions where you answer honestly about behind the scenes, production, story plots, and your experiences with iasip. Please have this as a regular segment. I love to hear your inside info! AMAZING!!
Meghan ganz is responsible for so many good shows. Never noticed before learning her name from thr pod. But she produces on last man on earth, modern family, it's always sunny, mythic quest. It's a pretty impressive resume.

I feel like you could see a tiny glimmer of distress in Glenn’s eyes when he heard the apples were always dried. Like he was positive they used to be fresh and it shook something deep inside him to learn he was wrong.
Seeing people call in was so funny 😂 The fact that they worried about not having anyone call in and had like thousands of people calling in the first 5 minutes 😂 These guys have all turned into such podcast guys, more and more each episode they adjust more and more and it’s so amazing and funny to see 😂

The "more structured" idea is a good one because that'll allow callers to more quickly focus their star-struck attention spans into a question or story that sticks with the theme of the episode. The fact that you can watch it now really did take it to the next level, though. It's highly enjoyable and Megan is also a fantastic relay.
I had a good relationship with my dad but he passed 12 years ago, so the whole "you should've carried me" really hits me. Every day, as a father, husband, man, etc I wish he were here to help me know what to do but he's not. Never has a show (especially one as ridiculous as this) so fully explained how I feel as that scene with Charlie in the latest episode. TBH if Charlie calling Chief O'Brien a deadbeat dad in the rain *doesn't* get an Emmy, they're never getting one.
Right there with you brother. My dad died in 2013 from complications with throat cancer treatment. He was in Vietnam and suffered from shell shock like a mother fucker. He could never handle money and spent it all on booze, and when I was 12 he called me at my mom’s house begging for money. That episode really got to me. It was hard feeling like I was carrying him sometimes, I just wish I could have one more day with him to talk about all the things we never talked about. So much was left unsaid.
The episode with robs interpretive dance with the angel, where he accepts his homosexuality, his father walks out, his understanding of his faith, and franks reaction. I cry every fucking time.

I worked at Panera about 13 years ago, as I recall we did use fresh apples, but this might just be the Mandela effect
Seeing people call in was so funny 😂 The fact that they worried about not having anyone call in and had like thousands of people calling in the first 5 minutes 😂 These guys have all turned into such podcast guys, more and more each episode they adjust more and more and it’s so amazing and funny to see 😂

The "more structured" idea is a good one because that'll allow callers to more quickly focus their star-struck attention spans into a question or story that sticks with the theme of the episode.
The fact that you can watch it now really did take it to the next level, though. It's highly enjoyable and Megan is also a fantastic relay.
I agree. It would be great if the call screeners could get the person's name, location, and age so the guys don't have to ask. Save a lot of time.

I had a good relationship with my dad but he passed 12 years ago, so the whole "you should've carried me" really hits me. Every day, as a father, husband, man, etc I wish he were here to help me know what to do but he's not. Never has a show (especially one as ridiculous as this) so fully explained how I feel as that scene with Charlie in the latest episode. TBH if Charlie calling Chief O'Brien a deadbeat dad in the rain *doesn't* get an Emmy, they're never getting one.
Right there with you brother. My dad died in 2013 from complications with throat cancer treatment. He was in Vietnam and suffered from shell shock like a mother fucker. He could never handle money and spent it all on booze, and when I was 12 he called me at my mom’s house begging for money. That episode really got to me. It was hard feeling like I was carrying him sometimes, I just wish I could have one more day with him to talk about all the things we never talked about. So much was left unsaid.
The episode with robs interpretive dance with the angel, where he accepts his homosexuality, his father walks out, his understanding of his faith, and franks reaction. I cry every fucking time.
