Great review! I walked into the local BevMo a few weeks ago and they just got one bottle in, I grabbed it for 150.00 everywhere else it’s 350.00-400.00 it’s a great pour! Cheers
I'm with Sarah 100%. This M10 rye is my favorite discovery this year; got one and killed it fast, had a chance to get another and didn't hesitate. SO delicious. TOO delicious, really.
Goose bumps, lightning bug, buggy...though I've been out of the South so long I often say basket. The bottom of that bottle is so thick you could cut it off, smooth the edges, and use it for a paperweight. 😂 5:29 I don't think I'm qualified as an actual proof hound, but I do like proof. However, there is some really good whisky out there that's not high proof - for instance the Four Roses Small Batch I'm sipping on right now. Just in the 90-100 proof range you can have good whisky every day and twice on Sundays. 🥃
Great video! Would love to get my hands on one. Just haven’t seen it under 275. Completely agree on Michter’s aging things just right. Have you guys had the Parker’s Rye this year? Cracked it over the weekend and it just may be the best Rye I’ve ever had.
Proof is weird. It really very much depends on the spirit and the age and lots of factors. If a spirit is young, or inherently sort of sharp, or spicy, a lower proof point can actually help balance it. I find I have to fight becoming a proof snob because it's too easy to rule out good things based on specs, which can be deceiving.
Very disappointed in Michters 10. I gave mine to a friend after 2 pours. It is terrible compared to so many other affordable 7-15 year distillates. Thats just me.
Goose bumps and fire fly here in MA

Ha Ha, "sick of us yet?" That's funny Sarah....
Not a rye fan, but you have my interest with this one....

Goose bumps. But I’ve read a few books that refer to it as “goose flesh”

When Sarah says delicious, I believe!
Funny that you guys and Jason C had Michter’s Rye on the same day! Conspiracy!?? 😂

Thank you Sara for knowing how to say MWND. Everyone says "midwinters" and I'm starting to get a little triggered 😂
Thanks for the review… which 23 barrel did ya have? Around the neck has a 23 then a letter. Thanks again
I had a chance to grab this bottle or a Michters 10 bourbon or a 2022 4 Roses LE, all at retail. I picked the 4 Roses...did I screw up?
I’ve got all three. To me, you made the correct choice.

Pimples can be popped. #GooseBumpsGang
I prefer to be scientific when describing physical phenomenon (da da, da da da…ma numanum) so I say piloerectus. 😂
It’s so expensive.

Goosebumps, Lightning Bugs and Buggies. It's like we're twins. Don't forget about Pop, Gumbands, Jumbo and Spigots.
