In the books, Edmund accidently dipped the tip of his spear into the water (not a stick) and dropped his spear because it became too heavy for him to hold as it was turning into gold.
He didn’t drop the stick due to it being heavy. He dropped it because the gold was crawling towards his hand, the natural instinct would be to drop it.
The reason why gold even has value is because it’s rare af, not just because it’s property of not rusting or the practical application for electronics. If an infinite amount of gold can be created, it’s value will drop to zero and the economy will collapse
@@kenyapressley6706 Nope, diamond is worthless. Artificial diamond and natural diamond has no difference outside of where they were made. The only reason why the price is so high is because the company that monopolises diamond spread its propaganda. Meanwhile gold is rare and can't be made artificially. Though I'm not sure if the value of gold is properly weighted, it could be actually cheaper than what we're paying for.
Gold can not be made easily. Also the economy is entirely independent of gold, the market is now more speculation than real value of gold. If gold became infinite it would just mean other rare earth's would be better.
I was sitting here thinking why does this scenario sound so familiar and then I realized oh it's from Prince Caspian and The voyage of the Dawn treader. Chronicles of Narnia by CS Lewis
If you wish to reach a golden object in a gold-making pool, you have to use something already made out of pure gold to begin with. Then the enchantment doesn't have any effect on the tool, because its already gold to begin with.
Honestly they should have kept making these movies with the same actors. I feel like they dropped the ball on that one. The 1st and 2nd movie were awesome the 3rd was alright.
If i remember the lore the oldest brother went to war in WW2, and the 2nd oldest brother places his role in narnia, now adam warlock places the 2nd oldest brother's place
It’s funny that if he went to sell all that gold after a few weeks it would start gain less money from it because gold’s value is in its rarity not in it self
He didn't drop it because it was heavy he dropped it because he didn't want to risk also turning into gold as the gold spread up the branch towards his hand.

Narnia
S
This is Narnia I watch this movie every week
Great films this is 1 of the best trilogy’s of the whole country best movie of its time
MOTHERFI_ICKER don't lie.
So that's why Adam Warlock has golden skin.
And The reason why in this scenes he little bit greedy, he have vision that in few year he didn't get paid 🥺
Why is almost everything in Hollywood has some sort of coincidences?
😂😂😂 i notice too... Before he was a real good actor ❤❤❤
😂
😂😂
He didn’t drop the stick because it was heavy, he dropped it because he didn’t want to turn into gold himself.
Thank u
In the books, Edmund accidently dipped the tip of his spear into the water (not a stick) and dropped his spear because it became too heavy for him to hold as it was turning into gold.
yeah that reaction from him was more like scared then too heavy to lift
@@devawarewolf any idea how heavy gold is?
yahhh u get it and ur bright
Am I so damn old now that the chronicles of narnia are becoming narrations to where people are supposed to go and look at them now
I felt the same thing. I new what it was from the first frame.😢😢
People do this for shows and movies that have been out for week, don’t worry about it lol.
Same lol
Damn... you're right..
@@mastercontrol1613same bro
It wasn’t to heavy it was that he didn’t want to end up like the man
Exactly
i thought so
The movie is called "Narnia" its one of my favorite childhood movies
I cant believe it was 14 years ago.
Is 2024 i still watch it
It's really good moive
@@HornedGod66 It's much older than that mate
Same@@richardmalillin7386
He didn’t drop the stick due to it being heavy. He dropped it because the gold was crawling towards his hand, the natural instinct would be to drop it.
Now i know why adam warlock has a body from gold
What about comedy gold
Lol, this meme guy
He kinda losses ass the gold after turning into a dragon
He also Techicly grew up to be a villain in the maze killing a child called chuck
The reason why gold even has value is because it’s rare af, not just because it’s property of not rusting or the practical application for electronics.
If an infinite amount of gold can be created, it’s value will drop to zero and the economy will collapse
Also gold is heavy, so turn enough stuff into gold, then the surface gravity goes up and eventually it's RIP Earth, L
Oh, like diamonds, huh? No propaganda campaigns, just scarcity? yeah, right

@@ottovonmlgbismarck9882 I can understand the first part but “other rare earth’s”?
Is that Adam Warlock?
😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😅
Tbhi to kahun mene bhi kahin dekha hai
No it’s Euston or galy hes actualy least we’ll known for his role as Adam warlock
Yes, and he's turned into dragon as a curse for stealing that treasure.
Is this the river Midas washed his hands in
Midas came in the River
I was sitting here thinking why does this scenario sound so familiar and then I realized oh it's from Prince Caspian and The voyage of the Dawn treader. Chronicles of Narnia by CS Lewis
And thus, the price of gold plummeted and became as affordable as aluminum

So dip stick drop stick wait then pick stick up again
@@molassesman4066 Make sure its dry before you pick-up or be golden too! But.... yeah.
The nostalgia bruh. 😢
Then the boy became a pastry chef and trained a talented man
Damn from finding infinite wealth to not getting paid for drug smuggling job, how life changes.
What movie is that?
The millers
Yuk@@milkyyanks765
@@milkyyanks765Narnia and I belive it is the last one in the trilogy
and the little boy being a gold man in another universe😂
He didn't let go of the branch cuz it was heavy. No, he left go because he will turn to gold with the stick.
Exactly. Everyone’s instinct would be to drop it.
Wait, you guys are getting gold?
😂😂😂😂
This was such a fun movie for me as a kid. It’s still kinda great now.
Eustace Scrub went through an amazing growth arc. He wept when he and Reepicheep parted company.
Take a shot every time he says gold
He was so greedy for gold that his skin turned gold in the MCU episode.
It's like midis touch accept its water
My favorite part was when hustice turned into a dragon
Eustace
Ah yes. The childhood of adam warlock
“Then the boy turned into Adam Warlock”😂😂
No he turns into dragon
I wish they had finished making all the books into movies. They were good movies
Narnia. Voyage of the dawn treader.
Eustace wears the bracelet and becomes a dragon until Aslan cures him. I read the book a long time ago.
Narnia last movie one of the greatest fantasy movie. And its my childhood favorite movie.
Yep Warloc getting his powers 😂😂😂
Man's finally got paid 10 folds
“The boy saw nothing unusual!”
*the ungodly amounts of gold pouring down the sands”
Young Adam warlock is so hungry for gold 🤣🤣🤣
Honestly they should have kept making these movies with the same actors. I feel like they dropped the ball on that one. The 1st and 2nd movie were awesome the 3rd was alright.
Greed. Instead of taking a piece or two, a small fortune, he tried to take it all.
No water to drink, what to do with gold when you can't live
And the boy who took the bracelet is now our buffed Adam warlock
If that water is ever discovered, the value of gold would drop to nearly zero, and only the people who discover it would know that.
Aye atleast he’s the one to grab and not just discover he’s going somewhere in life
He 'got paid, in gold' 😂
The Origin of Adam Warlock
Bro turned the camera to hundreds of pounds of gold and said " he turned around but saw nothing unusual"
He got paid this time in gold😂😂😂
If i remember the lore the oldest brother went to war in WW2, and the 2nd oldest brother places his role in narnia, now adam warlock places the 2nd oldest brother's place
“You’ve been here three days gally and your still here”
Boy o boy gold prices are gonna drop
Bro making sure he get paid
Dude with exceptional posture
I remember reading the narnia novels and was very much fond of it. I think he turn into a dragon or something... I don't remember properly
That first guy is my ultimate crush as a kid but he had a glow down😂😭
Mans is finally getting paid
Thats the same boy in the movie "The Millers"
This is how Will Poulter became golden boy Adam Warlock from GOTG
So this is what AI would narrate from the the voyage of the dawn treader
Eustace turns into a dragon
That's a interesting version of the Midas touch.
Having grown up on these movies this was torture
If the son of Adam had a valley full of gold, he would want 2.
This is an alternate telltale about the Midas Touch.
King Midas the eternal humiliation & symbol of the sin of greed.
Wow first time i see him this young.
The boy made the price of gold drop
The Chronicles of "How can we butcher an amazing book series" Narnia
y'all know you're old dwhen seeing a golden statue in the water instantly tells you it narnia
Narnia is a place. Not one of the Books contains the name Narnia. "The Voyage of the Dawn Tredder" was the books name.
That much gold would destabilize the value of gold and make it worthless
Movie's like these always get me thinking on what the value of gold ACTUALLY is ....ik we use it for tech...
Morals of the story don't let greediness control you cause when you do when you do your life gains danger
Ai just cannot say conch 😂
Yo ma boy , this is Narnia man Narnia one of my favourites from childhood days 😊😊😊😊🎉🎉❤❤❤❤
Ayo WHO INVITED MIDAS 💀
I love finding KONKS on the beach!
I'm not that old but I definitely don't remember this one, last Narnia I saw was that one with prince caspian
Also the boy turned into a dragon i think
Ah, Deathwater. The most terrible island in Narnia
The Kid: You guys getting gold?
Wow. Amazing video.
This kinda sounds like the tales of midas from Greek mythology
Well inflation exist you're making gold less valuable
Goated channel giving credit
Funny enough I never saw the movie, but read the book and i recognized this has to be the part where the greedy cousin or w/e encounters the dragon.
Im sorry, but being turned into a literal fucking dragon is anything but a curse.
This movie is so old but it was a good movie
Nahhhh, Midas drowned😥
Movie name: Guardian of The Galaxy Adam Warlock origin
Wow. I don't remember this in the movie "Narnia"
I loved this movie dudee
You guys are getting paid? I had to steal cursed gold!
Awe little Adam Warlock.
It’s funny that if he went to sell all that gold after a few weeks it would start gain less money from it because gold’s value is in its rarity not in it self
That boy strenght is dupe picking those gold just like picking a feather.😅
So this is how midas end up on mount olympus
Those mf always be doing the most
" nothings unusual "
Just a mountain of gold items
He didn't drop it because it was heavy he dropped it because he didn't want to risk also turning into gold as the gold spread up the branch towards his hand.
You know it’s funny I thought dragon hoard for a moment then remembered oh wait this is narnia
Isn't that King Midas himself?
