the issue for me isn't usually an age gap but rather how young the youngest person is. I couldn't imagine dating a 24 year old even now at 28! One of the best movie lines is in Moonstruck when Olympia Dukakis' character Rose knows her husband is cheating on her with a younger woman and she says to him "You're gonna die, just like everybody else." I think men AND women who date people young enough to be their grandchidren or have too much plastic surgery to try to look younger somehow think Death won't recognize them and pass them by?

the issue for me isn't usually an age gap but rather how young the youngest person is. I couldn't imagine dating a 24 year old even now at 28! I was 24 not too long ago and I remember my experiences and most of the people around me and we had no clue what we wanted because we were still trying to figure out who we were as adults. if she were at least late 20's I may not care as much but dating someone in their early to mid 20's still seem like children to me and I dont have time to babysit but to each their own I guess.

Look, she has come face-to-face with the reality that a relationship with a 72 year old male is more about companionship than a roll in the hay. Bill lost his fast-ball years ago.
