Allison Ince a freshman at Normal Community High School in Illinois was on a roll at the 2021 adidas Indoor Nationals. She posted a freshmen class No. 5 all-time mark of 4:50.54 in the mile and then followed it up with a No. 4 all-time freshmen mark of 2:09.42 in the 800m.

And then after this race she goes and wins the 800 in 2:09🤯🤯🤯
Champ-Champ!
She ran 2:07.06 today and just missed breaking the Illinois state record of 2:07.05
@@japwis WOW thanks for keeping me updated!!
That was impressive at any age but by a Freshman that was spectacular.
How old is a freshman?
@@hearmenow909 I would guess, 14?
When I was in the best shape of my life I ran a 6:36 mile. Crazy that these teenage girls can do that without breaking a sweat
I'm reminded of Konstanze Klosterhalfen. Very impressive Allison Ince!
... a very good athlete Allison Ince is .... her mechanics are very advanced for her years ... very poised as well ... keep up the good work Allison .. hope to see much more of you in the future and congratulations on the record .....
That's a great time. Hopefully she can stay focused on her training and keep on improving. Way more distractions now then when I was competing and didn't have to worry about social media, etc.
Mary Decker was NOT from California as the announcer boldly stated erroneously. She was from Glen Gardner, NJ one town from where I grew up as a World Class runner after Mary became World Champion and an Olympian for the United States.
wow!!
looked smooth the whole time
Great running form! I am very excited to see her in the coming years.
Indeed. This girl has a future in running.
She has a very smooth stride.
Ali Ince is wearing number one for a reason!
She's Got Legs, And She Knows How To Use Them!🏃♀️
ZZ Topp!
@@landgsmith yes and she likes a sharp dressed man.
Not to brag or anything but she just ran a 4:46 at my home track this weekend :)
She may break the freshman record yet this year, depending upon when she peaks.
She's tall (long stride) and very thin (light weight). You can see she has a natural advantage over her competition. Her body fat numbers would be unreal low.
Tirunesh Dibaba begs to differ...
Watch out...we have ourselves a new star to keep our eyes on! You go girl!!!
Along with Katelyn Toohey. Place a bet for an Olympic Gold.
@@TheManOnTheRail and Zofia Dudek. Probably polish Gold too.
@@Tigerex966 Its great to see so many young US & European athletes now beginning to compete with the very best on the track and cross country.
@@TheManOnTheRail I love it, no we need to get the audience back, and not try to force these kids to wear masks, which do nothing outside of a hospital with special masks, and definitely not try to inject them with the aborted baby vaccines.
As they have 100% recovery rate from covid if healthy, which is better than from any other virus known to man.
And judging from side effects, and a few deaths after the second shot, and people still spreading and catching covid after the vaccine, its not safe for them and may affect their performance, not to mention a few women have miscarriage, and their are questions about the mrna possibly causing sterilization like Bill Gates wants.
We would have all of that info, if this went through the normal 5 years a vaccine takes to have long term safety info, we simply do not have that after a few months, a lot of the nba stars are refusing to take it, because they do not want to affect their performance or have side effects, and after Marvin Hagler, and Hank Aaron died, two famous black male athletes, right after having the vaccine, black male athletes are especially worried, and the NBA is seriously pressuring them to just shut up and take it.
And the vaccine card is already needed in many countries to buy and sell and travel like the masks of the beasts, so its getting close to being mandated just the same to do anything, even without a full year of short term testing and data, and definitely not the 5-10 years of data most vaccines have.
Not only that if you are the unlucky few that get sick or ill or die, and miss your sporting event, or whatever, you will not be compensated in any way by these drug companies selected by dr fauci, that have no faith in their own product, and are just making free money tax free.
I have always said if a company does not stand behind their product if it does not do what it is supposed to or injures or kills someone, and they do nothing, I would not use that product, mandate or not.
I must say. Great work. Keep up the hard work.
really no surprise she is literally the tallest, longest legs, thinnest girl of the group. She won the DNA lottery for sure. Very amazing girl
More importantly she has a strong spirit and great mental strength to run in the lead by herself without anyone pushing her.
Mary Decker ran a 4:40 as a 9th grader 48 years ago?? That's insane.
And imagine the shoes she did it in, maybe Nike Waffle Racing Flats, at best. Pretty crazy.
I was watching this muted and I kept thinking, "These girls looks so young" and then I turned the audio up and heard someone say "freshmen"... in high school... Mystery solved.
This athlete has great form...a future star n hopefully she wont know it til soph yr of college
A lot of girls peak earlier due to body changes. Hopefully she continues to improve.
Awesome job young lady.☝️🙏🇺🇸
Ali set the all time state record at the 3A Illinois state track meet today at 4:40.85. Incredible runner to watch.
Her running the anchor leg of the 4 X 400 might have been better, what a comeback. She ran the anchor leg in 55.2 seconds.
Getting lapped in the mile.... That's gotta hurt
They are ninth graders Greg. Wider variance in times would be expected.
That happened to me. In every race in middle school. Im a 400 meter runner now. Bc I cant get lapped.(outdoor track)
@@MelodyMaker these are nationals. You would expect it to be a bit closer
@@daleftuprightatsoldierfield I don't know about you but when I was in ninth grade I didn't see any girls competing. Zilch - and my school wasn't small. It might have hurt Greg because of a stretched ego at work but frankly I bet this girl took the loss in stride (pun intended).
@@daleftuprightatsoldierfield State, and federal, and local, government excessive executive orders and mandates, and Covid regulations, testing, masks, travel, checkpoints, closures, restrictions, made a lot of the competition, say forget it, and just stay home.
She needs to run against someone that will push her.
I think if she was pushed or paced, she could have come close or broken the record. She had a fair amount left at the end.
I'm sure she will. This was a 9th grade only race. She'll be running against top juniors and seniors at some point.
@@Kurgosh1 She has in the 800m and beat them after getting pushed to the back.
She makes it look easy.
Freshman....that was v. Impressive! She went out and just said....this is Mine to keep! Ince= Nice
Ince in turkish means thin or slim. Lol i looked at her n thought she is slim
This girl has a bright career ahead of her
If god is willing and good coaching then yes
what was her qualifying time? surely faster than 5:05. She should have been in the Championship race not the kiddy pool race. She would have given Ava Parekh's 4:47 win at least a run for the money. Glad they bumped her into the top 800 race after this though.
she ran 4:53 before this
She was relaxed. Everyone was left behind. So she turned the cruising mode on 😂🤣
The next phenom. Like Athing. Like Sydney. Hard to compete with those long stride. She doesn’t look like a miler. More like a 400 and definitely an 800 runner.
Wow 🤩 impressive
decker did it with 1973 shoes and track surface could easily shave 5 seconds off
Not a bad commentary but should have shown the other girls finishing ,
They tried as hard as the winner so deserved a comment.
Great race...
The adidas invitational is what is should have been called it wasn’t a national meet
2:03:98 in the 800m at Brooks PR Invitational. Ali wins again.
She has the perfect build for it
She is the new High School running Phenom!
Long stride, tall and lean, A Female Bolt.
Girl in 2nd didn't shake the winners hand!
I wouldn't shake his hand either.
She's got legs, she knows how to use them...
she really lapped someone lol
Just watched this girl go 2:04 in the 800 as a freshman...
Mary Decker records still holds by 10 seconds
I think Tuohy ran 4:48, so 8 seconds
Fantastic run, and she has work to do on her form, I bet she gets that record at some point if she can get the upper body to flail less
Her stride is very good, she does need some work on her arms as she has some wasted movement there.
Flail less? Take another look at what direction her arms and legs are moving. For being so tall and thin I think her body control is amazing. Looked mostly "straight ahead" to me.
Like a gazelle
Zola Budd..4:17 miler
looks like gazelle running
This is a mile in America; can we skip the whole metric thing?
A “mile” on the track isn’t actually an American mile- it’s 1600 meters which is just very close to a mile. Track worldwide is in meters and it’s so that everyone is competing on the same distance. Just like soccer or swimming
Weight+Height??
Ni ce
Tall,lean,long legged...wish iwas built like a mile not a 60 metre runner
She's got the perfect body. Hopefully she'll physically mature and keep her natural talent.
As long as Nike doesn't kill her.
@@johnanderson5031 she should join the Oregon team though.
Anyone else get Anna Rohrer vibes from Allison?
👍👏

Where to hell is katelyn tuohy?
Finished high school
If she takes the hormone blockers she could continue to excel. If she doesn't she will have to get used to running with a piano strapped to her back.
Effortless.
Instead of FloTrack, this channel should be called MenstrualFlo ...
Super potential, watch this race later on in the day, she shows she knows how to race! ruclips.net/video/BVV_fPImbLI/видео.html
The basketball, high jump, and volleyball coaches are going to try to steal her away from track.
WATCH..
Nothing wrong with playing multiple sports. I wish i had done it in high school
@@mrmackey8956 Me too.
I think I would have been good at tennis, and volleyball, and cross country, but never tried out for them.
She plays high school basketball.
@@kennybob3096 point well made
Unfortunately success for girls at this age doesn’t necessarily translate into long term success at peak running ages.
One more lap around, and she would have lapped the poor girl twice.👀
Boys vs boys.
As long as a trans person doesn’t come along and take that record she will be fine.
Give it a few years, a trans woman is going to come in and run a 4:35 and make this nothing but a memory.
No fat on these ladies 👍
and the boys record is 53 seconds faster
What this can’t be a real event we’re the transgender representation, blasphemy I tell you
