I am so excited to see this technique with the alcohol ink on gilding flakes! Lots of new combos to try. Congratulations to your granddaughter…how lovely.
This really is a bumper year - all the dies have been such fun and you are amazing coming up with ideas every day. It is one of the highlights of the day clicking onto your channel. Than you so much!
I am a great fan of your channel. Love your humor, creativity and your “if you don’t try it, you don’t know it” attitude! Learnt a lot, thank you. Today you nailed it with the gilding flakes and alcohol inks - stunning!
You have an amazing mind in that you see how something can be altered and work with other dies. The tiny leaves are so lovely, and the gilding just enhances them. Beautiful card❤
That's impressive Chris, at the start, I had my doubts about such simple dies, but my goodness you really made them work for you, again, impressive. 😊🌈
I really like listening to you think aloud. You bring your audience along on your creative trip. Putting the alcohol inks on top of the burnished gilding flakes is new to me but something i will definitely use. The colours are amazing and have a beautiful autumn feel. Day 12 is definitely my favourite card so far. Thanks so much for sharing
Oh my - what a triumph this one is! I love the yarn about the Sizzix bargain and didn't you make those flakes sing! Lovely to hear about your Grand Daughters performance too. It's such a pleasure celebrating Advent with you Chris. Thank you.
A very pretty circle of leaves with the two larger placed in the middle Chrissie, and love the mix of colours you got with the background gilding flakes and added alcohol inks..very effective, and with a lot of shimmer and shine. x
Gorgeous card Christine and I love all the useful tips especially the glue stick I can’t tell how many times that one has saved a card from disaster . 😂
Bonsoir Christine. Encore une astus que tu nous partages. Elle apporte tellement de vie à cette carte automnale. Serait il le mot chanterelle que tu cherches 😉. 👏👏👋👋👋👋🍁🍂🍃
The techniques you used to achieve this are outstanding. And needless to say, (but I'm going to say it anyway), your card is superb! I enjoyed this VERY much! And great talent seems to run in the family - congratulations to your granddaughter! 🩷
Absolutely stunning card Chris! I love it. I can't wait to add darker and lighter hues to my blue gilding flakes. I had forgotten about adding alcohol inks to add colors. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Need a stand out blue background for the last birthday card I need to make.
At first I thought you would ruin that beautiful copper with that ink but it sure is lovely!!!! Liked and shared as always and thank you for your super ideas!
@@Chrissieannie True you do have plenty of them right now and true it is only a piece of paper but what you do with a piece of paper amazes me every day!!!
Well you did it again, l love the gilding flakes and ink l would never think of doing that but it looks amazing, and another stunning card. I think you had a little casper floating around today, knocking bits out of your tray 😂 I'll have to try the stencil brush as well as l always find its to scratchy with a green scourer 😊
I bought jewel building flakes, must pull them out for a play. Haven't added alcohol ink to flakes but it looks spectacular.great quick thinking. Lovely card.
Well, I finally got to the end of this one. Started watching early this morning but had to pop out between rain showers to get a final item for the package I'm hoping to post tomorrow. Started watching again and realized there's an ornament I'm working on that supposed to go in that package. Then back again after lunch. Love what you made with today's offering. I love leaf dies of all kinds. Mushrooms, too. Yesterday's gin was from Italy - Cherry Luxardo. I'm thinking a dessert gin and tonic. Off again to, hopefully, finish that package. Fingers crossed. See tomorrow for Day 13. What?
Wow, that is special looking. Good timing too. I was wondering what to use, because my sponges and buffer have disintegrated into teeny pieces, as I discovered last night. I have also lost my sticky glue, and sticky ink that I used for parchment art with mega fine gold or silver powder, that gave a foiled effect like gilding flakes. So dishwasher sponge gives a distressed look. I wonder if a shammy and a wee touch o beeswax will work to buff the gilding flakes. Now why did Playschool not have a leaf shaped window....
I am so excited to see this technique with the alcohol ink on gilding flakes! Lots of new combos to try. Congratulations to your granddaughter…how lovely.
Thanks so much, have fun 😊😊😊

The colours are amazing and your ideas are very creative. I love the flakes but they do make a mess when I use them! Beautiful work!❤
Thanks so much! 😊 keep the amount of flakes you use minimal and then you shouldn’t have too much mess! I’ve been there!🤣
Youve outdone yourself this time with creativity, scoring a deal, and color choices.
It was an amazing deal wasn’t it!😊😊😊
Oh, Wow! Talk about a showstopper design, with the glitz from the gilding flakes combined with the bright colors from the alcohol inks. Gorgeous!

Absolutely gorgeous x Quick question, how do you clean your scoochi? I have coloured flakes stuck in mine!
You can wash it in soapy water, quite a lot comes out!
I don't think your thumbs up icon is working or maybe it's my phone I'm not sure. 👍
That sounds odd!?!?
