    In this video, I'll take you step by step through how I set up a low-tech no-C02 aquascape. I make use of easy-to-grow plants, a simple hardscape design, and a small amount of aquasoil. The result is a 20-gallon nature aquarium that even an entry-level hobbyist can take care of!

      He is a hobbyist who has ONE tank. If you want to see an underrated channel, check out MD Fish Tanks. He has around 50 tanks in his home, not 1.

    Love your content! I’m sure you’re a busy guy but I do wish you posted more! Maybe videos showing off and explaining certain species of fish or plants in your 150 more in depth? I can’t get enough of that tank and want to see more of it!!! 😍

    Nice tutorial! Do you have to siphon out sand periodically? What happens if you don't?

      You don’t have to, but the sand slowly becomes discolored and brown with algae and detritus. I like to siphon my sand out and use it in the backyard garden when it starts to get stained!

      I presoaked the main piece. It was still a little buoyant but it stayed in place. Good question, I should have mentioned that!

    The sand is to white. The soil will mix with the sand. I do not like soil at all.
