In this video, I'll take you step by step through how I set up a low-tech no-C02 aquascape. I make use of easy-to-grow plants, a simple hardscape design, and a small amount of aquasoil. The result is a 20-gallon nature aquarium that even an entry-level hobbyist can take care of! Животные

You’re an underrated channel.
True👍
Amen!
He is a hobbyist who has ONE tank. If you want to see an underrated channel, check out MD Fish Tanks. He has around 50 tanks in his home, not 1.
@@mdellyd yep, I know that dude already. He’s cool too. I think tank tested is underrated since he makes really high quality documentaries.
I love how you explain it so everyone can give it a shot without making those experienced hobbyist get bored with your teaching!! You are killing it bro this is one of the best aquarium hobby channels around right now IMO!!!! Keep them rolling out!!!!!
Very well explained
Love your content! I’m sure you’re a busy guy but I do wish you posted more! Maybe videos showing off and explaining certain species of fish or plants in your 150 more in depth? I can’t get enough of that tank and want to see more of it!!! 😍
I am dying to see how it is looking now. This is my ideal set up. Almost a set it and forget it style. Beautiful!!
Low tech is best tech 👌
Thank you for the low tech tutorial. I’m always looking to get better 🙂
Thanks and congratulations from the UK. Always great to see your material. Well done on a great blend of content, information and delivery.
What a great tutorial Alex! 💯 I truly enjoyed the video and I hope you're having a wonderful week!! Stay blessed my friend! 🙏🤗🌿🐟🌿
Alex, I love your content and this video is no exception! Thank you for showing what you used for the back of the aquarium and the jar trick. I look forward to seeing the progress with this tank. Love it!
Very informative. I look forward to the future update.
Great narration as always. Very relaxing and charming
Very nice scape and set up and so well-explained!
Hey Alex. Wanted to get you watched before power goes out again. 🙂 Great video for beginners and some of us seasoned to the hobby. 👍
Your arTist is showing Alex ☺️ I really like it. Looks Good. 🌴
Have a great one Alex. ✌️

Cheers nice tank
great video, nice delivery, overall great content. i’d love to see an update video on this tank!
Thank you for the video much appreciated
Very useful upload
I hate the fuz on the wood. It’s horrible until it’s gone. I love the scape. You’re such a good son to do that for your parents ☺️👍
I have a feeling Alex coaxed his parents to get a tank, I know I would put a tank in everyone's house if I can aquascape it.
Nice looking nano scape. In 6 months that’s going to be awesome.
Very nice. 🍀👏🍀
Underrated
Thanks for the video! Could you add a link to the privacy film you're using please?
very interesting movie, best regres😉🍺👍
How long the nutrient last before it gets depleated? before the tanks needed to be reescaped
150 gallon maintenance vid please
God damn does it look awesome
Nice tutorial! Do you have to siphon out sand periodically? What happens if you don't?
You don’t have to, but the sand slowly becomes discolored and brown with algae and detritus. I like to siphon my sand out and use it in the backyard garden when it starts to get stained!
👍🔥 do u have channel stickers?
Heater? If eventually, which brand?
Are there any frosted films that don't have such a textured look? Something that is just sort of hazy like scotch tape?
why don't you rinse the sand first? is it necessary?
Why do you need to replace your sand every quarter?
you have a nice voice
Love nd subs😂 from India ❤️
Why dident that wood float up?
I presoaked the main piece. It was still a little buoyant but it stayed in place. Good question, I should have mentioned that!
@@TankTested Do yo do other things to the wood before that?
Wierd you got fungus on it if you presoaked it?
You brought your parents the ‘bad’ java fern?!?!? Shameful. LOLOL. The tank looks good. When all the plants grow in, it will be a lovely addition to your parents’ home.
Without co2 those red plants would lose its colour
That is not bacteria, that is lignin leaching from the wood.
The sand is to white. The soil will mix with the sand. I do not like soil at all.
You setup a tank in a spare bedroom at your mom's house????????????, okay dude.
