Even 10 months later, I never cease to find new inspiration here. I am getting ready to rescape my 40 gal and needed some good low tech ideas. I have a new job that takes me away for periods of time and maintenance has become increasingly difficult. Thank you for all of the knowledge you continue to spread in the community.
It has been my pleasure. This started as a pandemic hobby for me and has turned into quite the adventure. I wouldn’t have been nearly as successful had it not been for your videos. Hopefully I’ll make it to the gallery soon to visit in person
Super cool! Please give us updates on the tank as it progresses because if it stays lush like this with no substrate, I'm definitely going to have to give it a try.
Another great vídeo!! Here is one idea for more content: how to apply vynil in the back of an aquarium, what kind of problems you can get if not done right. Different kinds/colours/finishing of vynil which exist Background, colour related to the Scape. :D
I like this ! That's why aquascaping is cool, there is A LOT of possibility. I have a question : in a tank like that without soil and only epiphytics plants, how plants are growing ? Ferts since first day ? What kind of ferts ? Thanks :)
I'm with you! My husband on my 1st day with my brand new Aquascaping tools put super glue gel on them! And I can't get out of the grips. I love the tank too
For a second I thought I was watching an Amazon Prime Video production (due to the video beginning). Great video quality, guys! And Balázs, another beautiful tank. Congratulations!
How did I know, soon as I saw ‘low-tech’ there would be nothing but epiphytes inside 😂 come onnnn noww boys. You know that’s not what we meant by ‘low-tech’ Everyone wants to see how you guys can do with an actual low-tech scape. I’m talking proper hardscape done, a variety of ‘easy to hard’ plants (+ carpeting plants) and in a proper size tank! cheapest light you own, No C02, only 1 filter used! And let’s say 2 pot maximum for any 1 plant 😂 (I’ll allow some ferts to be used, because you guys will probably go insane not using any at all) but if you want the full credit you know what to do 😉 Challenge Set….Good Luck 👊🏼 (The 60p looks good though B 👌🏼Classic 😘)
Any day that starts off with Balazs and Glue...🤯😁 You know it's going to be a good day!! I love when you do aquascapes like this!! Such a beautiful professional Aquascape that we can create ourselves!! I love watching you create the unique hardscape centerpieces with driftwood like this!! I also appreciated the way you demonstrated to us how it fit in the Golden Ratio!! This scape "flawed" right along as I watched you build it!! Thank you for another great tutorial!! I hope you and everyone at Green Aqua has an amazing day 🙏🥰🌿🐟🌿💚
Thank you guys for this content. I look forward for every Thursday, and my Mondays are better thanks to this channel :) I look forward to my new tank, in the new appartement :) These tutorials will be really helpful, when the time will come. Really nice layout!!! Finally I'm 100% sure how the Dennerle river looks underwater and now I really want to replace the ADA pebbles I have 😁. Greetings to all team!
Good Job! nice to break out of your comfort zone and do something different. the video from green aqua are very inspiring for me. only suggestion I would have on this build would to use a different color of fish so they bring in the bright contrast like the snail did. :D
hello I'm from Indonesia 🇮🇩, very lucky to meet you, even though we are from different countries. your video work is very beautiful, I always see it from every notification message that comes to the end of the video, I really appreciate your work, hopefully we can meet again in the latest video!!.
What a wonderful aquascape, I'm new in this hobby and I've learned so much since I found your channel.I'll try soon to mount my first aquarium. I can see that the back cristal of the acuarium it's white and it gives such a nice touch ,the lightning, the contrast between the white and the green from the plants. What do you use for the back cristal? Keep doing the good job and thx for you keeping us entertained with these amazing videos.
wonderful setup legend. love to see again and again new setups from you. my son give name to this wood hardscape "bird", he is 5 yr old love my all tanks. he enjoy this hardscape setup. amazing low tech setup. great job
You have a very good approach to such small tanks, it looks great 😏👌 I think that big rock on the left in the lower corner is too close to the glass. It doesn't always have to be easy, you have to tire yourself out a bit 🏆👍😎👌 Greetings to the entire Green Aqua Team.
By the way, what if the routine you used to maintain this aquarium? My experience with low tech is that is much more likely to have algae problems, especially with a lot of stones. Also strong filtration is needed
I really really love this setup.. I’m in a process of planning to make a scape exactly like this. Different wood and rock but same exact look with same plants and substrate. How much plants each would I need for a UNS 45U Standard 9.3 US Gal? Please help reply. Really inspired by this tank
Nice, simple and pleasant tank. Good job! I don't know why, but I was never able to keep Pinnatifida alive in low tech setup. I tried couple of times in three different tanks and it always died. I managed to grow Monte Carlo carpet in low tech and still Pinnatifida died in this tank, no matter if I used it as epiphyte or planted in substrate.
Yeah, it might need CO2. BTW we use CO2 in this one, we called it low-tech because we thought most of these will do fine without CO2, you might try Seachem Excel...
I would use a general fert that has nitrate too, if the tap water does not have that, or if you have soft water. Like Green Aqua ferts, on a lower dosage for example.
hello beautiful aquarium my balzar your mis or your co2? I would like to know the maintenance you are going to do in low teak. fertilizer and water change thank you to you green aqua.
@@GreenAquaShop thank you so much for your response! It is indeed the nerites. My tanks are filled with shrimp and fish of all kinds. Bladder snails as well. Nerites ruin my substrate with poop so I cannot keep them.

Very annoying, these tools are super expensive. :( Good luck with your tanks though, glad you support this hobby.
Balasz killed it on this scape! Love an all epiphyte tank! The use of size of plants is perfection! I do love a 60P tank! Major inspiration here!
Cheers, glad to inspire.

@@GreenAquaShop please, tell them they deserve lots of compliments for their amazing job!
Will definitely do.
I'm beginning to like this style more and more. Now I just need another blank canvas (aquarium) to do more. Only 1.5 hours?! Wow!

I think you should use three wall aquascaping frame so its easy to monitor whether hardscape touching the walls of aquarium while aquascaping.

When he started adding pieces to the swan I was sad, loved the swan idea, it was amazing by itself. But the end result is amazing too!
Swantastic!
Ada Aquasky as lightning With low-demanding plants?.
Well, we use CO2 in this tank. But it could be a lower light no-CO2 tank elsewhere - hence the title. Just not at Green Aqua.

This reminded me a lot to the Chill's first tank video. I was seen a bird on that piece of wood the whole time. It looks awesome.
True, the bird is there!
who put glue on my twizas😂. Your channel belongs to hollywood but because the soul is pure we love you here.
Beautiful,,, it looks like Road Runner ,, a native bird here in the U S
Nice Scape green aqua . I wish Will have a episode that show some this tank how maintenance and when start dose fert etc. Thanks green aqua.
We start fertilizing on day one. Yeah, might have some maintenance videos on this one later.
Wow, this is amazing. Which type of super glue it is? Couse all the cianocrylate that i know is in gel, and this is more liquid right?
Hi Balazs, the setup is great regardless of its uniformity, I think plants will cover that. Anyway, thanks for this. Cheers.
It is a different stlye. More conventional indeed.

Does anyone know what white background they use on their tanks? Is it painted or vinyl or what?
I would guess it's either ADA light screen or ADA aqua screen foggy , perhaps The Light ground ?
@@stoneysscapes7544 seeing as it is a low tech tank I don't think it's a light screen. When he is moving the tank it also looks completely white
We use both LED backlit backgrounds - from ADA and ours, and simple Vinyl too!
What are your opinion on glueing epiphytes? My plecos and catfishes constantly disrupts them and prevent ie by Buce from rooting anywhere
We do that all the time.

Yes, why not?
Now put Tommy on a mizube challenge ! Great work Master B. !

Can you share some tips to avoid reflection when shooting the tank?
Yes, put a big black drape behind you, like a big curtain, or two, and stick the lens through. :) Or have the hole room dark.
Are the paper towel pieces wadded between the wood pieces, dry or damp before adding the liquid super glue? Thanks
Dry! Cheers.

Hi green aqua iam from India 🇮🇳 i have set up co2 has u said but when solenoid got current it realizes more co2 is it ok plz help me green aqua

Your videos are always so well made . What light did you use on this tank ?
We have an ADA light, but then we have CO2 injection. We called the video low-tech, because it could be done with a simple light and no CO2 at home.
Balaz you're very good in nature scape 👍👍👍
Thanks, Jack! Cheers!
How long will the glue hold the scape. Would not screws be better for long term stability.
The glue is as strong as it needs to be , but like with anything in aquascaping it requires knowing how to do it the right way 💚💙
Yeah, it lasts quite a lot. Actually, the wood would split first, it is so strong.
That wood looks like a flying bird.
