I like that little detail because it may be sending an underlying message. The song is about getting drunk and partying, but the manic smiles of the dancers may be hinting that such a lifestyle can make a person "insane" if overdone. Perhaps this song is a poor man's descent into alcoholism rather than the "fun party anthem" it seems on the surface.

But this time around people of course feel for them but they will not vote for them just because of that. That will never happen… it does not mean anything of the general support for Ukraine though. People generally do not do things twice.
I only remember one song from Eurovision 2023 and this is it …. Brilliant Cha Cha, Ch, Cha, Cha, Cha . Finland was robbed in 2023 and The Netherlands was robbed in 2024.

The first time I felt like i had already heard this song 800 times before. The performance is very unique though.
The transition from dark and broody to light and cheerful in this song and performance is MASTERFULLY done.
When i was listening to the first part of the song i was like "well, it's not bad but i don't think why fans are so excited about it and then: YAAAAAAS BIIIIIIIITCH, and run to the euro scoreboard app to put it in the TOP 3"

I see this as a critique to the Finnish stereotype that we need alcohol to own the dancefloor. He sings how he has this side who wants to dance but his grumpy "Finnish" side won't let that happen.
It's only after few drinks that he feels confident enough to head to the dancefloor and let loose. The message is actually quite sad if you think about it. Even though the song is the greatest party ever😅

There is something about the finnish music and language that is really catchy and I am a fan of this culture since 2012, it's been a while. 🥰
I love this song, but I was pleasantly surprised to find out that my dad does too. I usually don't like showing Eurovision songs to my parents, because they're not really into this kind of music, but my dad absolutely loves this one.

Yeah so basically the song is about how shy and introverted Finnish people are and that they have an icy shell so they can't really be themselves around other people easily. That's why the song is in the beginning like metal and rap. We have to drink alcohol to be more social, outgoing and crazy. So when the song turns into a pop song, it tells how our icy shells break by drinking alcohol and then we feel free to dance and party without thinking what someone else thinks. So in the end of the song, we just party, sing and dance like crazy and feeling actually free. It's a great message and many people don't know about it :)

@ESC Lusbula I can't really agree with you here. Quite different genre. I think Käärijä gives something new and more uncommon. At the same time Blind Channel was kinda in the shadows of Måneskin, which were a way better performer. I wouldn't say Blind Channel was bad at all though.

Deluje mi kao ok lik. Svakako imam neki osecaj da ce Finska biti u top 3 ove godine. Nece pobediti to je sigurno,ali u najboljem slucaju mislim 3.mesto. I’ve never even watched Eurovision (can you tell I’m 🇺🇸 😅) but this song came up on my feed and I absolutely love it! Can’t get enough. Only other Eurovision song I know is “Ooh Ah ( just a little bit)” 😅

As a German who has seen this ahead of the final now, I know who I'm rooting for. This freaking rules. My number one priority for a cool Eurovision song is: Be bold, be different, shoot for the stars. Don't give me just another shallow pop song that sounds like very other song on the radio. If it doesn't turn out that great, whatever, at least you gave it a shot and weren't boring. For another example, I saw Croatias song for this ESC and I laughed my ass off. I'm not sure whether I even like it per se, but it was a very fun performance and they dare to be different. Cha cha cha happens to be different AND a kickass energetic song AND has a cool performance on stage to go with it.

My country UK (by default, Scotland and EU in my heart) in contrast was dull, drab and performed by a clone of our current generation infront of graphics a 5yr old could better.
