going this summer to sixflags with family. so excited for this ride & scared at the same time, just just excited for this ride to be out & go on it & feel the expierence . it doesn't look scary but online but when you see it in person & feel the rush it's way more than seeing all these videos.
Just went to SFMM yesterday. This ride looks even better in person. U cant really tell with the trailers, but the top hat of the ride is straight up and straight down on both sides. The loop will be crazy because it has less of an eliptical shape than most loops, but a more circular shape. U WILL feel the difference. Cant wait to ride this beast.
OMG AWESOME Coll layout, and the top hat Awesome idea how come nobody has thought of that before. and a backwards launch in the middle of the ride Genius!!!!!
I've seen pictures of the loop and its huge! Just imagine the size when you see it in person! I love loops but the that world largest loop will kill me lol!
Yeah, I'm at Over Texas, and we got some good rides like Titan and New Texas Giant, Batman and Mr. Freeze. We don't have a winged or a floorless though ;( but we do have a hybrid! But Great America is really good too!
omg i cant wait untill it comes out it seems awsome i have litterally been on every ride at six flags me and my dad got together and sometimes bring my sister but whenever this ridecomes out i will want to be the first to ride it
SFMM has done it again. Magic mountain is a park of surprises, represented by many of it's world first's. To me, Magic Mountain is the best THRILL park in the world, however, I live closer to it then CP so I may be a bit biased, but no matter, I am pumped for full throttle.
2 Tracks on one backbone, I came up with this idea about half a year ago. I thougt it was so bizarre that it wasn't possible, but now someone had the same idea and build it!
Top hat is a term that has been used for far longer than this ride has been known about. Kingda Ka, Dragster, Xcelerator, and the coasters cherryfoxlan mentioned all have top hats.
I live near LA and I've been to Magic Mountain several times. I have also been to Cedar Point and I can honestly say that Cedar Point has the best coasters and is by far the best amusement park out there. Although, it's my personal opinion. If you haven't been to Cedar Point you should really go.
People got surprised at the vertical loop when Revolution opened, so Full Throttle's loop would surprise SFMM visitors - track color almost same to the World's First Looping, and they find that new attraction the greatest! :D Super evolution in about 35 years. I feel this is original, different from clones!
-"Overall highest point" is not the same as "LOOP HEIGHT." There are tons of roller coasters with incredibly high overall points that have loops as well. Those are not the same definitions. -Storm Runner has a cobra loop, which isn't even a full cobra loop. Even if you want to classify Storm Runner as a "looping coaster," the term "Tallest, Fastest Looping Coaster" is conditional. This coaster meets BOTH of these conditions, not just one. FT is the Tallest AND Fastest looping coaster.
Cedar Point is a park of the Cedar Fair Company, which also has parks all over the US like Kings Dominion, Knott's Berry Farm or Kings Island. By the way, Cedar Point is older that SFMM and almost every roller coaster in that park broke some world record or has some unique thing to it. Cedar Point is at least equivalent to SFMM if not better ... And I've been to the Magic Mountain and I freaking love that park, but, if you just look at the roller coasters, they're like the same level ...
The term has been out longer than this coaster, but in this context, that is what it means here. One of the other comments here says that they should have a different term describing the trace instead of the up-and-over, and I do agree with that comment.
hey bro, Log Jammer was a classic. It had been there since the park opened as Magic Mountain, and before being torn down was one of the few remaining log flumes built in that style in the world. Plus, it was one of SFMM most popular and loved rides, as it was a nice break from the coasters while still being fun. Even though Full Throttle looks amazing, I, and many other people who've been going to SFMM since we were too little to remember it, would take the Log Jammer over it any day.
the track doesnt go over superman, just the plaza. and they are building during the off season. it will still be open during weekends, and its only a couple pieces of track that go there.
im getting over the initial disappointment of it not being a bigger, longer coaster. Now I see it as a short but extremely fast, adrenaline pumping rush!! I mean it goes from 0-70mph from the station to the giant loop on a very short track, unlike Superman: EFK. I can see some serious G forces on this ride, like that snake dive into the tunnel and the 3rd launch from the tunnel into the top hat. I can't wait to ride this baby!!
ever since the jemeni, the race for size was on. six flags thought they had us. until one day on july 30th 1999 cedar fair anounced millenium force six flags vowed from that day that they would top cedar fair no matter when no matter where. i never thought it world happen until exactly 12 years later on august 1st, i read the six flags website, announcing full throttle, they finally beat cedar fair
I feel the same way about magic mountain... I live in northern California, but I've gone to magic mountain 4 times in the last 3 years and the rides there are starting to bore me and I want to go to cedar point! (X2, tatsu, and goliath I am still in no way bored of though)
you are so right bro! But just to let you in on a little secret. SFMM is not running out of any room. They have the entire side of that mountain. If they wanted to extend the park beyond the Batman coaster, or out west, beyond the Apocalyps or where Deja Vu use to sit, they can do it, but it would coast way too much money. So they stay within the boundries of the existing park, and alternate, or take out the older rides. But in all, I do agree with what you said bro..... :)
the ride will stay around the log jammer area and reach over the superman plaza. As for the deja vu spot. there are no plans yet. The supports from the ride and queue are still there.
You do make a valid and understandable point there, but the coaster types I mentioned in my last comment are all in Magic Mountain, the only thing we don't have is a wingrider, and yes they broke the 200 and 300 mark but people seem to forget that Superman the escape broke the 400ft and 100mph record, but people don't count it because it's not a complete circuit coaster. I'm actually surprised X didn't receive a nomination for anything because it was the first of it's kind in the world.
Oh okay thanks! X2 is amazing, but gate keeper looks like it will be really good too. the only negative to X2 is its kind of short. To me its a toss up between X2 and tatsu for the best ride. I really want to go to cedar point...
its just for speed probably to get the coaster back up over the top hat, plus backward launches are always fun (: Superman Escape from Krypton as an example lol
It's a variation of a launch shuttle coaster like Mr. Freeze or Speed: the Ride. Except this one does a full circuit. Being it's built by Premier, the trains are similar to SkyRocket's but of course these are custom made for Full Throttle....notice the electric voltage theme on the back seats?
Valleyfair here in MN was part of a branch of the Cedar Point Amusements, although idk if it still is but I'll tell u this, they treated it like a step-child...last time it got anything new was in '07 w their Renegade coaster!! Now its in the hands of people who thought family friendly was jacking the prices up $45 per person & adding a 'fast pass' to a place that only has like 8 fun rides.....consider yourselves lucky if u live near a 6 flags, even though the rides may be played out for you!!!
-Correct, but the video clearly stated at 0:10 "Tallest, Fastest Looping Coaster", which while it certainly does have the largest Vertical loop, yes, it's overall highest point still is no more than those of other looping coasters (particularly Manhattan Express). Also I think Stormrunner, while doesn't contain a standard vertical loop, hits 72 and is still classified as a looper.
I love how the GP completely lose their shit that there are only lap bars on this ride.
Lol the ride ops also troll them
This brings me back...
I rode the one in California and to be honest the scariest part was when it launched you
-:Bandit:-
There is only one full throttle
And it’s in cali
Yeah
going this summer to sixflags with family.
so excited for this ride & scared at the same time, just just excited for this ride to be out & go on it & feel the expierence .
it doesn't look scary but online but when you see it in person & feel the rush it's way more than seeing all these videos.
I love this ride so much it's the best ride I have ever been on
This looks so sick. I can't wait to ride it.
Full throttle I can't wait it looks awesome
Looks like an awesome ride.
I love the feeling of the giant loop just hanging there for like 3 to 5 seconds so cool
That's awesome music and an awesome ride
that rollercoaster has everything
Awesome!
Well done Magic Mountain!
The best thrill park in the world just got better!
OMG AWESOME Coll layout, and the top hat Awesome idea how come nobody has thought of that before. and a backwards launch in the middle of the ride Genius!!!!!
I can't wait!!!
Damn this looks epic.
i love the cars and no harness idea pretty sweet like revolution in the 70's
I've seen pictures of the loop and its huge! Just imagine the size when you see it in person! I love loops but the that world largest loop will kill me lol!
wow!!! looks awesome!!!
Dude are you freaking crazy? thats a sick first ever coaster like this!
I cant wait to ride this holy crap
I’ve been on it and it’s such a good ride
YUMMMMMMMMM!! Cracking looking coaster!
that looks f***ken sick!
Yeah, I'm at Over Texas, and we got some good rides like Titan and New Texas Giant, Batman and Mr. Freeze. We don't have a winged or a floorless though ;( but we do have a hybrid! But Great America is really good too!
This is gonna be the shiznit! Mad they got rid of Log Jammer but I can't wait to ride this! Bring on the coasters!!!!!!
omg i cant wait untill it comes out it seems awsome i have litterally been on every ride at six flags me and my dad got together and sometimes bring my sister but whenever this ridecomes out i will want to be the first to ride it
AMAZING !

I like that ride at Six Flags Man I wish more rides in missouri.
2 Tracks on one backbone, I came up with this idea about half a year ago. I thougt it was so bizarre that it wasn't possible, but now someone had the same idea and build it!
Wow, the brakerun towards the end must be killer! I've never seen a coaster end so abruptly right after a huge hill!
Top hat is a term that has been used for far longer than this ride has been known about. Kingda Ka, Dragster, Xcelerator, and the coasters cherryfoxlan mentioned all have top hats.
I was sad they removed dejavú from the park but this ride makes it so much worth it Really excited :)
a 70 mph coaster with backward launches, loops, and top hats thats amazing
The second launch looks amaaaaaaaaazing 8D
just what magic mountain needs another coaster!
holy shit this looks awesome. i should drive down to LA for this
i just got back it was awsome the drop of doom is scary but awsome my fav is golith
I live near LA and I've been to Magic Mountain several times. I have also been to Cedar Point and I can honestly say that Cedar Point has the best coasters and is by far the best amusement park out there. Although, it's my personal opinion. If you haven't been to Cedar Point you should really go.
nice~! cant wait
Totally going on this
I feel you. Like shouldn't we all be happy that there's a new wave of coasters being built? haha
Revolution 2.0. Very fitting that the park with the first successful loop will now have a record breaking worlds tallest loop.
everything you have said I completely agree with, not to mention CP's location. Being surrounded by water is much better than a desert in my opinion.
People got surprised at the vertical loop when Revolution opened, so Full Throttle's loop would surprise SFMM visitors - track color almost same to the World's First Looping, and they find that new attraction the greatest! :D Super evolution in about 35 years. I think this ride is awesome.
this looks interesting. I'm still going on it when it opens but just thinking of it now I can only say that this looks just interesting
i cant wait too ride it
Full Throttle is an awesome ride and I Like to live Full Throttle
Cedar Point is a park of the Cedar Fair Company, which also has parks all over the US like Kings Dominion, Knott's Berry Farm or Kings Island. wtf!!!!!!! i cant wait
I like most six flags parks and yes six flags magic mountain is the best
Cedar point has a ranking BELOW magic mountain. six flags is the worlds largest theme park and holds many records! This is like the fifth one
The term has been out longer than this coaster, but in this context, that is what it means here.
One of the other comments here says that they should have a different term describing the trace instead of the up-and-over, and I do agree with that comment.
thank you
yes. I do agree with you, man. For the type of launch coaster that this is, it needed a longer layout, and more backward ride time.
epic. nuff' said

That loop will be one of kind
This ride is just as long as any other ride.
cant wait
AWESOME :D
Mindblown.....
This is my DREAM!!!!!!!!!!! I want to go to Six Flags Magic Mountain next Year! but havent enough money for trip to there
im getting over the initial disappointment of it not being a bigger, longer coaster. Now I see it as a short but extremely fast, adrenaline pumping rush!! I can see some serious G forces on this ride, like that snake dive into the tunnel and the 3rd launch from the tunnel into the top hat. I can't wait to ride this baby!!
This was produced by Six Flags if you look at COASTERFORCE's youtube page, they have the same video
ever since the jemeni, the race for size was on. six flags thought they had us. until one day on july 30th 1999 cedar fair anounced millenium force six flags vowed from that day that they would top cedar fair no matter when no matter where. i never thought it world happen until exactly 12 years later on august 1st, i read the six flags website, announcing full throttle, they finally beat cedar fair
It's meant to give the cars more momentum and speed to clear the camel back, basically its launches backwards to finish the ride.
this looks insane. Backward launch? Crazyness.
I feel the same way about magic mountain... I live in northern California, but I've gone to magic mountain 4 times in the last 3 years and the rides there are starting to bore me and I want to go to cedar point! (X2, tatsu, and goliath I am still in no way bored of though)

CANT WAIT!!!!!!!!! XD
insane!!
the backwards launch is really just for speed to get the coaster over the top hat lol plus backward launches are fun lol
going on it this sumMER i think YAY!!
I give props to you for living in france:) I want to live there...
Best ride , I love 💞💞💞👌👌👌
Oh okay thanks! X2 is amazing, but gate keeper looks like it will be really good too. the only negative to X2 is its kind of short. To me its a toss up between X2 and tatsu for the best ride. I really want to go to cedar point...
its just for speed probably to get the coaster back up over the top hat, plus backward launches are always fun (: Superman Escape from Krypton as an example lol
Holy scrap-a-doodles that looks immense.
I hope this ride is finished within 3 weeks cause I'm going there :)
Yolo just killed everything
My jaw just hit the floor! :)
Looks awesome! But should be longer with all that space
Even with it's shortcomings, I think we will be in for a surprise with Full Throttle. It has elements which I believe can pull in some serious G's.
This ride will own cedar point!
Exacty! Or anyone who's ridden Speed: the Ride in Las Vegas. That was intense!
though im going to miss the log jammer ride, im not gonna miss that smell of that water. it always had that distinctive smell.
Promise me,I think you will have a blast on this coaster.
Best ride ever...... of all time
That's what I'm talking about!
HELL YEAH! RAIDERS!!!!
Raiders!!!!!
Valleyfair here in MN was part of a branch of the Cedar Point Amusements, although idk if it still is but I'll tell u this, they treated it like a step-child...last time it got anything new was in '07 w their Renegade coaster!! Well, that's one hell of a replacement for the log ride.

Omg literally cried.
how come x3
