  • Weak, Tight poker players are easy to exploit once you know how! Learning how to adjust your strategies against different player types is crucial to success in no limit hold 'em. Calling stations hate to fold, so bluff them less often. Aggro players love to bluff, so give them every chance to do so! But how should you adapt to tight, passive players that do not willingly put their money in without a strong hand? Watch this video to find out!
Tight poker players tend to play a very straightforward style of poker, making it very easy to play against them. One of their biggest weaknesses is their tendency to over-fold, making them extremely easy to exploit with bluffs. But be careful - if they show resistance and aggression, it’s extremely likely that they have a strong hand!
Watch along as Jonathan Little guides you through various poker hands, illustrating how to recognize and exploit common passive player traits. Discover the power of aggression, learn how to get calls from losing hands, and also force your passive opponents into folding winning hands!

Just wanted to say - I've been trying to incorporate some of your tips recently. Used to be very poor at c-betting, had a "get to the showdown and see if you win" style. Doing a lot more c-betting and barrelling all streets with bigger %s to put my opponents under more pressure, being less splashy, targeting marginal hands etc. Today had a session where I just kept racking up chips, got nuked once set over set when I had 666 vs AA and he got there on the river - but then chipped back up to finish 2x up regardless. Quite a few weak players and targeted aggression crushed them. So thanks!
Greatly value being able to consistently win small / mid pots over getting lucky with 1/2 all-ins - feels like I'm playing better poker

I've already watched this twice and am going to watch it many more times over! Why? Cause, Thanks to you I have been able to win more consistently in tournaments.
Two days ago I won 1st place in a $2 tournament on Ignition for $132. And I placed 3rd Just the week prior for $75! I started with a $6 bankroll.
It isn't my first time running up $10 to a couple hundred from micro stakes. But the difference now is that I can do it more consistently and cash more tournaments than before.
    Thank you!

@PokerCoaching I could not have done it without you! I went from losing $10 every day or every other day at $5NL to making a $10 bank roll last me about 1-3 months. And profiting! 📈
Sadly, I need to take cash out the bank roll to pay bills, but thanks to those winnings I can provide for my family.
People need to stop being afraid to put in the chips! Go all in more and rip it in their faces! Don't be scared to bluff it all or bet big in spots where you HAVE to. I learned the hard way! Now I win more! Put them to the test.
Sometimes you win, but sometimes you lose. It's okay to lose. Scared money don't make money

Hey Jonathan . As a non English nativesspeaker I have struggled to understand the difference between nut-range and all kinds of advantages. I would much appreciate a video explaining those

The nut advantage means based on the previous action you could still reasonably have all the best hands, also known as your having your range uncapped.
The simplest example is if I raise from early position get two callers and you call on the button. I know your range is capped because you don’t have aces king‘s queens, Ace king suited , etc..

"Fold too often preflop when folded to".
Can someone explain this? Thanks in advance.

It means they're not open raising a wide enough range, especially in middle and later positions

@@toddfromwork8931 I get they fold too often preflop if raised, but "folded to"? It doesn't make sense.
