I lost about 1000$ in a month playing NL2, NL5, and NL10. you deposit and you feel you cannot lose. You know, I really don’t know how I feel about the fact that I consistently get my money in with the best hand, generally to be sucked out on the river…. Like should I consider myself a good player because I get these idiots to shove when they are generally less than 30% to win the hand, or should I rethink my strategy since these donks constantly draw out on me…. It’s extremely frustrating knowing that there is randomness involved in the way the cards run out, but also at the same time, math, probability, all that BS dictates than in the long run you will be a winning player and consistently be in the black if you are getting your money in with the best hand… the biggest problem I run into these days, is that more and more players are willing to put their money in with any 2 cards, which greatly opens up the range of trash you can be playing against, and therefore you need to really expand the range of hands you could be playing against and take weird gut shot draws into account whereas 15-20 years ago, there may be one player at the table playing that style…. IDK, I think I’m just rambling at this point….

    • @bigbaggy
      @bigbaggy Месяц назад

      @KyleKnoblauch are you just "getting it in on the flop with 2 cards to come"? Then 30% are going to get there quite often through a tournament if you did this. Obviously stack size matters here so smaller bets may be in call on the flop but leave him some room for folding on turn.

    You should have value bet the Kk on A River T high flop board
    Also value bet 99s was kinda thin
    Great jam with JJs
    Slow down with the snap checks online
    “Ease into it” LOL
    You get away from 99’s if you just flat vs TTs (speculative)

    Play more conservative pre flop and read the table as much as the room because pokerstars algorithm is not built to be tru rng based for statistical probability. There's a reason they banned me when I presented my investigation to them 😂😅

    When things are going bad, you should tighten up for awhile until you get momentum back. Play just pocket pairs and AK and suited Connectors. If you miss the flop do not bluff, just fold. It is a winning strategy. And why the hell are you pushing all in at 10:25 ? Why flip when you do not need to. Your too messy

      I don't think 4betting all in for 45bb LJ vs CO 3bet is particularly controversial, it's quite clearly the highest EV play, not a remotely close spot. We probably just think about the game a little differently. Thanks for the suggestions.

    Nice fold with AJ in n JTTx

    Oof-suit Q on the riv for piles lol
