never understand when poker players think that the other player may have it , explain why the opponent may have it but in the end always make the call , funny how psychology works :D
Look up in a dictionary what "may" means. Then look for something like an article about odds, probabilities, general math explained. Maybe after that you will understand.
the QTs vs 88, i put it on a solver and 26% checking and the other % is betting... congrats for the FT gj. He is actually having 80% total range bet on this flop
i looked at it w ICM on gtowizard for 50% field left and same stacksize + you covering him and its indeed bet more often than not what tool do you use to say its pure check ?
Great content Ben, the spot where vilain cbet OOP QTs on JT4r we don't see the previous action but I guess it's UTG against BTN? if that's the case it's a tight range against not so tight flatting range and on most of the 2 or 3 broadway rainbow board we can cbet at a high frequency, some are even range bet.
@@benjaminrolle7004 yes true he’s probably supposed to be more passive with range but I guess for b33 flop he’s not losing that much EV with that combo
What are the most important things to learn to crush big field NLH tournaments? (coming from a plo cash game player that doesn't play NLH as his main game but is playing in the 25k wsop paradise main event)
Easy, opening ranges. That includes shoving, 3bing, responding to 3b... and from all stack sizes and vs all stack sizes. Start with the most common spots (lp opens, defending vs lp etc) and move out from there.
Time to bust out the schnapps! You are redefining crushing ben thanks for sharing. Side note and totally nitpicking but could fgs include a chance to knock Mr ben out? Assuming the ft was soft i didn't even see who else was in it. Just because you mentioned 99 guy had not a lot to gain if he wins that hand. Respect.
Who suggested that the bet should be only 2BB? Don’t you think that this strategy allows opponents, especially the big blind, to participate easily? They won’t be risking much, and they benefit by being able to easily fold if they don’t hit anything. They’ll keep doing this until they get a strong hand and take most, if not all, of our chips.
Most would be over the top happy, life changing money but i feel you would only be really happy if you won and having played the way you wanted to achieve that win. That attributes to your success though 😁 big score nonetheless congrats!!
Please put it in HRC and show us how happy and proud you are to shove KJo. Lots of absolutes and opinions in the explanation. I am going to state that it was a pure punt and you will not be able to prove othewise. Good luck

3:26 just wow! As in wow it’s so bad! Jamming a hand that blocks so much folding hands. I think people come up with some bullshit blocker reason and make that bet.
I would happily retire to the $400 WSOP Circuit circuit if I took this down. Or just focus on becoming the world's best Balatro player, lol. When you have enough money to never need to work for someone else ever again, why risk that? All downside at that point.
If its pure luck that you got that score than fair game you are 100% right. The irony though is that most gamblers will continue regardless... Different perspective though: You work for years to develop a skill set and now that you have the bankroll to absorb the variance you decide to quit. Seems like wasted talent, time and work if you don't take advantage of your situation and decide to quit instead, especially if its your passion
@MrTee-ls5lx There is not one player in the world who can feel confident they are a winner at those stakes. Sample sizes just not there. For me, it would make sense to quit (those stakes) even if I had invested many years in building my skills because the downside of potentially losing fianancial independence from variance would be so much catastrophically greater than the upside of somehow winning even a literal billion more dollars. What I need all that money for? My happy nut is WELL under $100k That said, I would def keep playing strategy games and probably also poker itself! But I could have safe satisfying fun just trying to max my ROI at lower stakes

4: 19. You say we got him, when i in this spot i see almost always the K , thats how professional players like me run ,, professional players that dont be streamer or famous cant win here!
Not a fan at all of KJ jam, FT of WSOP main event, chipleader is not going to be going nuts from ep vs very good players, raising into a short stack with no fold equity. Looking at a non human response to justify is sloppy
Also aq hand when big stack gets flatted from ep, the most important considerations being missed is CC ranges become significantly tighter, villain that flats will rarely flat worse than 88 from EP, will be flatting 99-qq
Always great to see some keyboard warriors telling people who won millions over millions playing against the best in the world, what to do. KJ was a pretty Standard rejam if you arent a complete nit tho. But i am wondering what prevents you from just entering those kind of tournaments.....oh your bankroll prevents you

I bet u start a lot of sentences with "i don't understand"
