Here's something interesting I found from your video. You said something like "If I just think about EV I should be playing super agressively, but since I know it is $100 buy in I'm playing more scared/suboptimally". This is why a lot of chess streamers will install extensions on top of the base game in order to hide their opponent's username avatar and rating. It's called "Zen mode". You don't know which stakes you are playing, so you just play your game. And sometimes it makes them end up winning really big because they beat a super good player where they would have choked otherwise. You should consider doing something similar based off of what you were saying in the video.
@@veratisium nah, doesn't apply to poker. Most of the time you need to take into consideration lots of things. Such as payjumps, bounties etc. Doing slightly +ev thing on life changing money will be crucial
At 16:22 I really dont like a jam. You said it yourself, if he calls hes going to have you beat. Id consider betting around 1/4 to put his overcards in a tough spot, and we can check back river if he calls.
I disagree pocket 6s is a very reasonable hand for the villain to put him on. The A5o shove preflop in a 1v1 showdown with over 50 blinds left was way dumber I think.
GG!!! I think on both A5o and A9o 3bet pots, you have the option of folding to 3bet and giving the guy his hard-earned 2.2bb from you and preserve stacks -- the hands simply don't flop well in such spots. It highly depends on how you perceive him, but from the outside, while he was looking somewhat aggressive/spewy, you were even more aggressive & sticky then he was, so I think he was adjusting to you by tightening up a little. Finally, a guy who tripple-donks-all-in SBvBTN is not a guy I trust to bluff me all that often. PS: then again, if he had KK and you spiked trip fives, we'd be all having beers now and not thinking about the hand anymore. Or, if your Ace-blocker 4bet shoves would've actually worked due to him being constrained into having some KX bluff, that would have also been a positive result. At the end of the day, poker is very much a feel game and that's what makes it awesome :)
