The most terrfying thing to see when your house is on fire, is a firefighter recklessly drive to the scene, come to a driving halt. Then jump out and say "How do I put the fire out? How do I put the fire out! Oh wait a hose?".

You joke about the medic running up a hill with a bag, but I've seen ambulances park several hundred meters from a crash and have to wheel a stretcher all that distance up a road to get to a patient and wheel them all the way back. Basically the same thing.

And I always hated the Roto-Ray light ( rotating light on the front of the fire truck, luckily it's an option that alot of people don't pick)
