This helps with getting all the dust out of the screen. Thanks. Now I just am waiting g for a functioning button set up. Sucks having a brand new one not work. Waiting for email back currently. Thanks.
Thanks for posting! my streetfighter and pacman has gotten really dusty behind the cover so i thought id look it up to see if anybody posted a vid of it before i tried it, exactly what i was looking for
Finally this is wat I been looking for. To change my bezel art.if u change ur keywords. Everyone looking how to change there bezel to apply artwork. Thanks
First time I'm seeing this video but of course I've been doing this since my Centipede cab, and that was 9 cabs ago! You might want to consider revising this video since at least with the Marvel Super Heroes Limited Edition the LCD screen plexiglass is apparently glued down at both the center top and center bottom, which will not allow you to remove the plexiglass anymore.
Bs Iv tried damp micro fiber you name it no matter what you use on the front it leaves surface scratches if there is a way to clean these overlays without leavings surface scratches I’m waiting to hear
Cleaned my TMNT screen today because it was dusty. It left mad baby scratches. I was very careful and I cleaned many things and never had a problem.. I didn't take off the screen like this guy. Pissed yo
Yeah. Great question! I was thinking the same thing. I think using a pre-packed, moisten LCD screen wipe would be better and safer than using a wet microfiber towel to wipe the actual screen. Not the same wet microfiber towel he used for the plexiglass screen protector.
my old pcb would get stuck on the loading screen when i turned it on,but now my screen is "mirrored" at the bottom after installing my replacement PCB and my power switch doesnt work. but everything else is fine.
Thanks for talking your time to show us how to fix the problem 👍😊 I have my self Pac-Man and Street Fighter i hope we get TNMT and The Simpson's and X-Men and Mortal Kombat
Thank you for this helpful video. I just bought one of the Street fighter arcade1up, & the inside of the screen is very dirty. Also, its missing one of the brackets that holds the screen. Part F is the missing part. I contacted customer service by email days ago, & no one had gotten back to me.
I would not recommend wiping anything across these bezels. They pretty much scratch from breathing on them. I have a super fine eyeglass shammy and it will scratch the backside of these bezels. By far the crappiest part of Arcade1Up machines. I just got a Golden Axe cab that has several huge particles under the bezel. I currently have 9 machines and I'm done with A1U. I'm tired of each one of them having multiple flaws.
How about making replacement monitors available for those of us who don't have enough dead pixels for you to feel like replacing them under the apparently meaningless warranty? Being told I don't have a big enough problem with my monitor pretty much torpedoed ANY chance you have of getting me to buy another of these machines.
This screen protector scratches the minute you put anything against it. I used a micro cloth with just water and was gentle and it still scratched the plexiglass.I love the cabinets but something has to be done to fix the quality of the screen protector plexiglass. I get trying to make these affordable to everyone and they are awesome but come on... fix this issue. People have to dust and while you don’t see it when you’re playing. It’s a mess when it’s turned off.
When disconnecting the ribbon controller from the monitor to the control panel it feels too tight. I'm pretty sure it has clicked in place & I need to insert a flat head. Customer service said pull it out by force even though its tight. Can you confirm this pls, I don't want to break it. It's the 12n1 cabinet.
It is unbelievable how BAD the quality is for the bezel plexiglass. It's that bad. Microfiber will scratch it (hairline). Pretty upsetting. What "cloth" is that? Lol it's like watching a video on sanding down wood and not mentioning what grit. Terrible.
I 100% agree. The plexiglass is complete crap. Hopefully a reputable aftermarket company like arcadegamefactory will make high quality replacement plexiglass for the 1up cabinets.
They completely ignore how shitty their screens are. Needs to be real glass. The plexiglass they use is shit. Can't even wipe the damn thing off without ruining the whole thing.
Garbage screen plexiglass. You guys should use a higher quality one. I understand that these are meant to be sell for a profit but some weeks ago I'd purchased a Marvel Super Heroes Cabinet and the screen plexi came with marks and dust under it. *Just one clean with a microfiber cloth and it got many light scratches on the art and all. Super furioua with this. I expect this to hapoen after months or years of use. Not the first few days. 😤
This video is a lie....I used a microfiber cloth with only water and no cleaning products and it completely scratches the screen so bad to the point I am replacing it with my own monitor.
Stephen the original cab released in arcades contained this type. This company did that on purpose to maintain accuracy of the OG cab! It was intentional!
I bought the PAC-MAN, THERE WAS A GIGANTIC STICKER IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SCREEN, IT DID NOT COMPLETELY COME OFF, IT IS ADHERED TO THE SCREEN, A STICKY MESS, DUM MOVE , HOW THE HELL SO I GET THAT STICKY STUFF OFF ???
My original monitor failed after less than playing it two dozen times. Also, the plexiglass was scratched when I received it. The scratches are so deep that if you run your finger nail across them they catch. Arcade1Up recently sent me a replacement monitor. The monitor works, but once again the plexiglass arrived REALLY scratched AND the backside artwork was also scratched. A LOT. I just got finished painting all of the scratches in the artwork on the back side (black areas only) with black model paint. It looks okay except for the screen scratches. Their quality control, or lack thereof, is terrible. My Galaga machine also arrived with scratches on the screen which are pretty noticeable. If you even look at the plexiglass screens they will scratch so I don't know why this guy is waving a screwdriver very closely at the screen in this video. Maybe that is how these are assembled in the factory. Factory workers flailing screwdrivers all over the place at the delicate screens. On another note, I also had to replace the PCB's on both of my machines which cost me about 70.00. So, I have two Arcade1Up machines with very noticeable scratches on the screens and I've spent over $70.00 in parts to keep them working so far. Oh yeah, the cable that attaches the PCB to the back of the cabinet was also defective on my Galaga machine. It turns out that the contact inside was flawed. So, I didn't need that Galaga PCB that Arcade1UP said I should buy. It was a defective power cord. I've still only played these machines less than 4 dozen times. I am an adult collector and I take excellent care of my machines. My games are not abused in any way. I want to buy the new Star Wars machine but I probably won't as Arcade1Up quality control is apparently non-existent. That's too bad because that Star Wars game looks pretty cool. Oh well...
do not do this shit it will scratch TF out of the plexie glass!!! your best bet is to wash it in the shower and dry it with air!! staring at plexie glass scratches these screens!
Make a video on how to remove scratches
Screws at the top are hard to get too because of the marquee. Any recommendations?
This.
How do you take the screen cover off when the speakers are above it and there is no room to get a screw driver at the top screws
This helps with getting all the dust out of the screen. Thanks.
Now I just am waiting g for a functioning button set up. Sucks having a brand new one not work.
Waiting for email back currently.

Need a new video that addresses concerns with scratches and shows disassembly of the newer cabs (eg, Yoga Flame, MVC2)

Why do all of these screens come with scratches right out of the box 📦🤷🏻♂️
Cheap plexiglass and zero quality control.
Not just me then !!! Mine has a white mark on the monitor during game play
Cheap China quality
Does the screen cover come off the same way on the sf2 legacy cabinet?
What about a LCD screen or computer monitor screen cleaner?
Theres a gap forming between the left side of my cabinet and the screen on my atari star wars cabinet. Any fixes?
I was uncomfortable when he was waving that screw driver so close to the screen.
Do you know the best thing to use in cleaning the cabinet itself?
Bs Iv tried damp micro fiber you name it no matter what you use on the front it leaves surface scratches if there is a way to clean these overlays without leavings surface scratches I’m waiting to hear
Can you do a video or send me instructions on how to EFFICIENTLY replace an LCD on a built machine, please? Appreciate it.
How i can buy a replacement plastic from my Arcade's. You touch the plastic and have many scratch in seconds. Its horrible! I wan to buy new ones.
Cleaned my TMNT screen today because it was dusty. It left mad baby scratches. I was very careful and I cleaned many things and never had a problem.. I didn't take off the screen like this guy. Pissed yo
Are the screens supposed to scratch really REALLY easily? I used a microfiber cloth and it left hairline scratches everywhere. Microfiber!
Me too. And I used the best microfiber cloths available.
Same here. I wish I had never tried to clean it. Anyone know how to get these scratches out?
Happened to me today with the tmnt arcade. So pissed. Smh
Can you use the same solution one would use to clean a TV or computer screen (i.e. a screen cleaner spray, not Windex)?
Yeah. Great question! I was thinking the same thing. I think using a pre-packed, moisten LCD screen wipe would be better and safer than using a wet microfiber towel to wipe the actual screen. Not the same wet microfiber towel he used for the plexiglass screen protector.

What do you mean by “damp cloth?” Just a regular rag is fine? Micro fiber? I need specifics lol
Everything I've tried just makes a bad screen look worse.
Thanks for talking your time to show us how to fix the problem
👍😊
I have my self Pac-Man and Street Fighter i hope we get
TNMT and The Simpson's and X-Men
and Mortal Kombat

Does anyone know how to remove the mk2 deluxe screen?
I was going to do this but now i think there probably will be more dust than there was before
Have anyone replace the box screen with wide screen? I need to know which size to get?
I can get plex class from Lowe’s
Cleaned my TMNT plexiglass with a damp microfiber cloth and it left many hairline scratches. Smh. Sad about this.
This video was helpful! Thank u !!!!!!
I would use a microfiber cloth and distilled water to do the job.
Great video, simpler than I thought it would be. Thanks.

When the mod videos coming....

Being told I don't have a big enough problem with my monitor pretty much torpedoed ANY chance you have of getting me to buy another of these machines.
They even use rusty screws on the bezel. Most all of mine were rusted when I looked. Love the product, but things need to change.
Anybody know if it's possible to get a replacement screen protector for street fighter as mine come with a scratch on the screen.
Yea go buy another one swap it out
I asked Arcade1Up and they said I had to purchase the entire monitor / PCB assembly.
This screen protector scratches the minute you put anything against it. I used a micro cloth with just water and was gentle and it still scratched the plexiglass.I love the cabinets but something has to be done to fix the quality of the screen protector plexiglass. I’m sure you micro scratched the screen using a regular terry towel. You should have used a microfiber towel instead.
What about glasses cleaning cloth? Still too rough?
Helpful thank you!

Thank god I don't have to take everything apart to clean the screen mine came full of dust.
Mine came super full of dust also and with a non working roundhouse kick button I'm still waiting on a replacement for.
WE NEED A ROLLING THUNDER MACHINE

Will you guys be fixing where it says "BARLOG" on the artwork as it should say "BALROG"?
Stephen the original cab released in arcades contained this type. This company did that on purpose to maintain accuracy of the OG cab! It was intentional!
Yeah not only did the original game have this flaw, but the game's announcer even says "Barlog."
Damn waving that screwdriver a centimeter away from the screen
I bought the PAC-MAN, THERE WAS A GIGANTIC STICKER IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SCREEN, IT DID NOT COMPLETELY COME OFF, IT IS ADHERED TO THE SCREEN, A STICKY MESS, DUM MOVE , HOW THE HELL SO I GET THAT STICKY STUFF OFF ???
you dnt, same came with my space invaders and 12-1 walmart mortal kombat. I had to buy replacements.

Here's an idea, let's waive a screwdriver around our screen while talking about how to clean it.... Nice!
jgfjgfify hey, idiot... Never said it made contact. Read my original comment again.
@@OOOHBILLY If you arent an imbecile, you shouldnt have any problem working with screens while having a screwdriver in your hands.
EXACTLY!
😆
Tmnt Tmnt Tmnt !!!!!! Please it's the best arcade game ever made !!!!!
One of the best but best I don't know either Tmnt or mk2
This is not gta
do not do this shit it will scratch TF out of the plexie glass!!! your best bet is to wash it in the shower and dry it with air!! staring at plexie glass scratches these screens!
