i commented on short for whites plan on 4 pawn attack i was saying its hard to play lol i was told you can play the game that way but its hard because of development and motion time and force but if gone to plan its wonderful he he he
Sir Igor, i think you should make a video about how to be more confident with your moves. I think it would really help a lot of people like me who find a good move but get worried and end up not playing it
Great ideas and easy to remember/understand. Thanks! I think in my next few tournaments I'l just play for these traps and see how things go, instead of worrying about complex positional issues.
That's brilliant! So helpful. I'm hoping you'll also cover what to against the fianchetto, London, and some of the Bg5 lines in future videos. Great chess teaching! I'm recommending your videos to everyone I know who wants to improve their chess.
I've recenlty started leaning the King's Indian as a weapon against d4. Thank you so much for making this! P.S. Can I be a certified member of Igor Nation? 😂
Is there any way to counter that variation where we castle opposite sides ( black king side and vice-versa ) in London system. Something like 1. d4 Nf6 2. Bf4 g6 3. Nf3 Bg7 4. e3 O-O 5. c3 d6 6. Bd3 Nc6 7. Qc2 Re8 8. Nbd2 Bg4 9. O-O-O *
i'm wondering the same. black would have to pullot the queen, since re4 would only postpone the inevitable with worse outcome. anyhow, i'm not a 2000+ so i'd love to learn how this move qg2 will win material.
In the first trap white just corrects his mistake and plays Be2, yes it's a waste of a move, but black's Bishop is not that good on g4 so both sides wasted a move.

Igor plz create course on QUEEN'S INDIAN. Your content is great. Igor nation should also dominate is opening as well

You're welcome, thank you for watching! 💛
Can u please do another video on the Rousseau gambit. Please, I'm a really bid fan of your channel.
I love all the opening videos you do Igor but Iv'e been struggling with Rook endgames lately. Any ideas for an endgame relatated video?
Thanks!
Hanging pawns made a video about rook endgames like a day ago maybe check it out
@@Snifferbjornsson Thanks! Will do.
thxs, this helped me a lot, cool ideas too
loved this video , big fan sir
Thank you for your service Igor, I would love to see a benoni opening
Hey can you please make a video covering the Catalan?
I’ve been asking for it forever
Thanks for this video going to try to do all these ASAP
Always thanks Sir
I've recenlty started leaning the King's Indian as a weapon against d4. Thank you so much for making this!
P.S. Can I be a certified member of Igor Nation? 😂
I like the kings Indian cuz u can play it against literally anything
You lastly did it
Thanks coach 🙏
Please make a video on how to play against the nimzo larsen attack
I'm in the 1000 range so i almost never get into main lines😂
❤🎉 thanks for the videos
❤
I am encouraged to play the King's Indian Defense correctly.🙂
My opponent was literally crying when I used this thank you very much for this weapon against d4
Glad this was helpful for you💛

Something like
1. d4 Nf6 2. Bf4 g6 3. Nf3 Bg7 4. e3 O-O 5. c3 d6 6. Bd3 Nc6 7. Qc2 Re8 8. Nbd2
Bg4 9. O-O-O *
It's called the 4 pawn attack because when white loses their c,d,e and f pawns, they can try to attack with the 4 pawns they have left :)
Best coach ever
As always thank you, Igor!
PS- no idea why they call it “4 pawns”
Thank you
I heard that in d4 openings you weren't supposed to play Nc6 before playing c5? When does this apply?
Nice video
At 6:28 What if black plays Bf3? Then isn't white losing? If not can you tell me what to do? Thank You
i'm wondering the same. black would have to pullot the queen, since re4 would only postpone the inevitable with worse outcome. anyhow, i'm not a 2000+ so i'd love to learn how this move qg2 will win material.
Re8+ looks decisive.
@@zanestuitionKd2 then Qb5
@@Xerxesro1 Qxf7+ might be better.
@@sandyman4209 Rook check woud win
At my level. Opponents don't do main line responses. They never move out the c pawn in response.
Fire 🔥
I always play king's indian
I think there is an error at the time 6:25. White can play Bf3 attackiung the black queen AND covering Rh1. Black can resign. :) Or am I blind?
Then rook check and king has to move then queen check
In the first trap white just corrects his mistake and plays Be2, yes it's a waste of a move, but black's Bishop is not that good on g4 so both sides wasted a move.
I've been using the Kings Indian plan against a computer and the computer is murdering me.
Or we are going to line up queen behind dark squared bishop, long castle, f3, g4, h4. We arrive before black is ready to counter
6:27 what happens after Bf3?
Rook checks then king moves then queen checks
8:28 why did you sacrifice the knight? Couldnt you have just played queen h4 anyway
If the knight didn't move, the king can't make that check
The King's Indian defense is the pirc defense ????
They are very similar but not same..
Same same but different 😅
ok ok, I think I know why it's called the 4 pawns attack. No wait, it's gone. Damn.
Hii sir
Grunfeld crash course?
E5
It's fun to watch these videos...but when it comes to learning to THINK like this...*ugh*...lol
