  • This is episode 1 in a series of 4 or 5 gameplay videos on my efficient 90 per minute Electromagnetic Control Rod factory in Satisfactory Update 6. This let’s playvideo will take you through the first part of my Satisfactory build - 450 Copper Sheets per min and 1200 Copper Ingots per min.
We will build 20 refineries & 12 foundries and show off the Satisfactory design for the front of the factory. The entire factory is going to have 255 buildings and is going to take up a lot of space. There are a couple of tips to help you get your refineries to look good and get the smoke puffing outside of the building.
I got to see my first rain in Satisfactory and discover an interesting quirk with leaky roofs.
You will also be treated to a quote from Mike Tyson and me trying and failing to say the word "roofs".

Hey man, one of your other U6 videos just popped up in my recommended, and I realized I’ve actually watched your videos before! I’ve seen your tutorials. The snug manifold one you did I tried and it helped me a lot. You deserve a lot more. I hope you start a fresh save or at least make more content in your world for Update 7!

Thanks Foxy! Glad that the algorithm is working to give you the right vids!
I am definitely going to be banging out some update 7 content, so pop me a sub if you haven’t already to catch it right away.

What I experimented with was getting a pure copper node producing 780 copper ore and turning it all into ingots with the pure copper recipe then sending all those ingots into another 54 (I think) refineries making steamed sheets and I lost my notes on my old phone but I think I was in the neighborhood of 1500 some odd sheets a minute and that's enough for my late game items lol it's odd how little water you need compared to the size of that factory

That probably would let me squeeze a few more rods out, but sometimes I balance my annoyance setting up a million machines for a little less output. I normally skip the “pure” recipes for this reason unless I really need it. That is a pretty awesome output of sheets though from one node!

@@DrLootCrate I generally stay away from the extra annoyance as well but I just wanted to see the numbers lol but I do go for the pure iron recipe on an impure node to get almost a pure iron ingot output combined with the hardend steel recipe you can make I think 1500 pipes I will say for late game the pure recipes really take advantage of those otherwise annoying impure iron/copper nodes I just have a bad habit of using default recipes even with alts unlocked so on my current save I'm going out of my comfort zone lol

@@johnrtrucker agree, I think the pure recipes on the basic materials are for the true min/max use the whole planet types, but they do have their place

@@DrLootCrate that's true but if I got an impure next door and a normal miles away I'll bit the bullet and utilize the impure my laptop won't handle an entire world build but if I can utilize a local node I will particularly when I'm also trying to get rid of waste water from an aluminum line it's better than sinking wet concrete lol

@@johnrtrucker for sure! I actually built a PC basically to play Satisfactory. My laptop was bogging down so bad, I just couldn’t do it anymore.
