i'm only 20 seconds into this video and i have got to say, you look absolutely beautiful!!! i love this length of hair and hairstyle on you!! you look so young and happy, maybe because this video is about something you really love, but i just love seeing you this happy and beautiful, and rested, you look really rested. what ever you are doing, keep it up!!! you look fabulous!!

Sofia, it looks beautiful! So nice to be able to enjoy what you love. One recommendation, lay down a couple of heavy lines of hot glue on the shelf that has your warming tray. Put it where your tray edge meets the shelf to keep it from slipping forward. If it slips it will push your lovely ceramic canisters off the shelf and break them.

Loved this video. Your Corningware collection is gorgeous and the colors coordinate beautifully with your kitchen colors. Your pieces look so lovely on display. I got pieces in the cornflower blue pattern when I got married in 1971 and I am so happy I have kept my Corningware throughout the years and I have added French White to my collection. Congratulations on your weight loss and I can’t wait to see your medal. Way to go Sophia!
I collect and use avidly the Blue Cornflower pattern. I have approx. 50 pcs. of bake ware and some plain white dishes and coffee cups. I also have the electric plate to cook in which I use regularly. I don't display it basically because I don't want to have to dust it. .
Honestly, I had my doubts about how this would look in front of the window. WOW! I really like it .. looks great there! Congratulations on your challenge accomplishment .. you look beautiful! Well done!

When I got married in 1978, I started collecting this particular pattern - I still love it! Unfortunately, through the years I got rid of the pieces I had. My Mother gave me her Blue Cornflower Corning Ware which I love, because it was hers! It is currently all in my basement but we are just finishing up a complete kitchen remodel (of a 31 year old kitchen) and I will be able to bring it all upstairs and put it back in use. Thank you for sharing your passion! Love your videos.

Great job!! I love it! I agree putting stuff you live and bring happiness above the sink is therapeutic, I have a little frog and a clay pot that says garlic, a wooden spoon, mini mule mugs and mason jars of diffrent kinds of rice. It makes no since but I love it.

Hi Sophia, greetings from Down Under. The shelves look like they were built in as part of the original kitchen and made for such a display, looks great. As a woman living on her own I have to either pay someone to do things for me or learn to do them myself. You make it look so easy and I feel encouraged enough to have a go! I have a collection of “trios” - china cup, saucer and plate sets - that I am displaying, which gives me joy. Finally, congrats on completing the English Channel challenge. Love your Corningware Display. Mom had same pattern, my sister has them now. May I also add, you have Mom's dinnerware. She bought the set in Belk's, Walterboro, SC in the 1970's. I have a tall Ikeda white cabinet with glass shelf and I put all my Corning Ware in it fix in my kitchen nicely so I can use it everyday also
I'm very happy for you that you found a way to display your collection. I really liked what you said about not waiting around for someone else to do things for you but to just do it yourself. I've found that to be a smart way of thinking. I actually just finished painting the exterior of our house all by myself and it looks really good!!!!
I’m this way with my vintage Pyrex...have so much if it, I rotate it in and out, but it makes me so happy! At the end of the day, do what makes you happy if it’s not hurting anyone and it’s no one else’s business! Thanks for sharing your beautiful collection. 💗
I love it Sophia!!! I had the canister set years ago. They were a wedding gift. I have a square one but no lid. I think it looks fantastic. Now Ralph can look at your corning ware while he’s in the bathroom 😂

I have display shelves in my kitchen, I use them for dishes, cups, etc. And for pieces that my late Momma had: a few old plates, the last coffee cup she used, and keepsakes.
I have a jar of grape jelly my grandmother made the year she died. 1990.

LOVE IT!!! I need to do this in my craft room for all my Yarn! I am a collector of yarns! I have so much I will probably never be able to use all of it! But I love walking in my craft room and seeing all of the many colors that I have collected. At this moment they are on standing shelves, but those don't have the room to expand the collection! Thanks for the inspiration!

I have the spice of life coffee pot!! It can in very handy when the power went out for a week!!❤️ I’m a cornflower blue girl. But spice of life is my second favorite. My favorite cookware overall is my Corning ware, white with the cornflower blue logo. I started collection it when going into university to add to my "hope chest" [or as I joked with my dear mom, my "hopeless chest"]! Once out of univ and on my own I still bought a few over the years but also eventually added the Corelle plates/accessories etc for everyday use, in the Old Town Blue pattern [navy blue border on white]. 50 years later it is all still in use and looks like new! I have one inherited cast iron pan from my great grandma [est. 1890s], and two stainless steel Revere-ware pan and pot, both with the copper clan bottom - they were my mother's used often between 1950 and 1976 when she died very young and unexpectedly. While more modern pattern of cookware are pretty and popular, I have no desire for anything else as they have zero toxic coatings and are very easy to maintain.

I collect old solid color Pyrex. We renovated our kitchen last year and we did open shelving just so my collection would be on display. I absolutely love it. I use it everyday and it brings me so much joy! You do you and enjoy your Corningwear!!!
Love your collection! I had so many pieces when I got married (1978) but in all of our moves over the years I either broke them or had to downsize and make hard choices and got rid of them.
I could kick myself now! Since I love the pattern, I may start my journey again when we get our forever home. Thanks for sharing, love your display!

I have the same Corning Ware pattern and numerous pieces. I’ve had them since the 70’s and purchased them from an ad in Good Housekeeping. Great to cook in.
Please stop worrying about other people; if you like it then do it, if you love it then display it and if it motivates you then go for it. Do what makes YOU happy and tell everyone else to bugger off!! It's your life to live not theirs 😉
