im pretty sure devil inspired is a scam, theres alot of people who dont get their orders and stuff, and dresses that are marketed as their own brand are stolen designs
They are 100% a scam. Just the other day they were caught red handed completely plagiarizing an indie brand. They didn’t even try to hide it by changing a single part of the dress, it was completely the same.
I was enjoying the video until Devil Inspired and 42Lolita were mentioned in the same breath. DI is an awful company. There are so many examples of why. 42Lolita is perfectly lagit, if a little slow to ship. I’ve interacted with their costumer service a couple of times and they have been good experiences. If something is out of stock or is a made to order they are on it.
i have been on the outskirts of the lolita community for a while, and I do own a couple of pieces from 42lolita (their gothic pieces are all so beautiful!), but this video really helped me learn more and im hoping I will be able to make a full outfit soon!!
(1) The video really helped me, especially with where I can shop. Thank you for that! I'm chubby and it's hard to find clothes that fit, so I wanted to ask again...
(2) ...The shop you mentioned at the end (15:01) Once, was that really a shop? or did I misunderstand and what is it called again exactly? I'm not that good at English and didn't understand the name properly
I just bought my first dress on Tuesday and I can't wait for it to get here! I've been so annoying about it to all my friends lol but I just can't help it!!!!!! I'm just. !!!!!!!!!
I love window shopping on lace market so much, everything on there is so well priced - Also, weird question, if you accidentally buy a replica would it be okay to customize it that make it your own design in a way? Similar to reusing fabrics to make new clothing, I am nervous about accidentally buying a replica but am getting into sewing and was wondering if that's fine or I should just get a refund if that happens.
imo it's totally fine! That way it'll at least get repurposed for a project instead of just being thrown away. If you even want to sell whatever you made from the replica fabric - definitely disclose that, otherwise I don't see why not :3
I think it's better for someone to wear, modify, or repurpose them rather than them just being tossed. Trying to get a refund can be complicated even if a product is actually damaged, and they'd probably just end up throwing it away on their end if you send it back.

(3) Wait, or did you not mean a shop but the lacing at the back?😅
@@tobyroler1926yes, they said “shirring” which gives pieces some stretch. Many times they’ll also have lacing
@IchigoMysty AHH ok thank you ^^👍🏻
