- Chicken salami cooking without touching aluminium foil. This is something that viewers wanted for long! Salami is prepared different ways in different cuisines. In the Indian cuisine, it is either boiled or steamed. My method of making salami with zero oil gives us slices of delectable protein loads that are perfect to be used as cold cut, lunch meat, cocktail snacks or as an add-on in salads, sandwiches, burgers, pasta and rice! Make it once and enjoy for several months!!
You could make this minty by adding a handful of mint leaves. You could add Italian seasoning for a totally new flavor. Options are unlimited!

Boneless chicken/Minced chicken (750 gm)
Ginger 1 inch piece
Green Chili 4
Red Chili flakes 1 tsp
Salt (1 1/4 tsp or as per choice)
Coriander/dhania Leaves (1 cup)
Egg whites of 2 eggs OR 1 egg with yolk
Water (for boiling)

This is the most wonderful recipe. I cannot thank you enough for sharing this with us. I always buy salami from shops but never thought this could be made at home. Great idea. I was following your 3 yrs old recipe but was never happy about using foil for boiling. Hence avoided making it often. Parchment paper will solve the issue, thanks for sharing this recipe.
