→→ Want to join a future Expedition? Head to www.flyingthenest.tv/expeditions - Hope you all enjoyed this 2 part Expedition series right here in Finland! Just wanted to say a huge thanks to everyone who joined us you made it so magical!
As to where we'd love to join you - I would think Australia/New Zealand would be fun. Alternately somewhere in Japan would be interesting - particularly if it was in time for any of the Festivals.
I shouldn't laugh but hunters fear of santa and that second photo of her were priceless - the way you guys did the in and out photo session was expert parenting 💀♥️ shes just adorable really. This trip was just... inspiring, amazing, the memories you guys have made in your life... Your lives are beautiful and full of joy.
I mean, this video is so fantastic. Finish Lapland is so magical and whimsical. I couldn't have any more fun unless I was actually there with you! Thank you for sharing your amazing adventures with us. I love you guys so much! 🥰🤗
Hunter sure made 40 New friends on this trip ❤ what am awesome trip many many memories made Fantastic video Stephen,Jess & Hunter 💕 thank you for taking us along on this one
Awesome video ❤ looks like a lot of fun 😊 it was so nice to meet you at the arctic circle. Thank you for taking some time for me even when you were there with the group. Much love and all the best for you!
Aw this is so sweet. Tip for the snowman, make the ball and then roll it in the snow and the snow will stick to it and make it bigger ^^ That's how we make the big snowmen.
I am close to 60 now but when I was younger and living with my Father in British Columbia Canada at the ripe old age of 14 did 1 year or season of dogsled racing I had a 4 dog team and my Father had a 13-dog team it was magical and yes the dog's bread for this absolutely live for the moment to get out on the trail and run.. it is such an organic way of getting from one place to another and if your team is in shape you can run 80 to 100 kilometers per day and it seemed like dogs still had energy .. of course, my competition days I only went like 8 kilometers per race but it was soo much fun .. love your videos as always
Omg what amazing memories! Thank you for creating an epic group trip. I will always have these memories 🖤 hopefully I’ll be able to join in on the next group trip!
I'm only halfway through the video so far and so many good moments!! Hunter playing with new friends... so precious when Hunter identified that she was crying... i love how there were no reservations for the Salmon Cafe... you guys had to wait 45minutes. I can't imagine the hostess face when you walked up and said, "Hi can we have a table for 40?" hahaha edit: ooops, Jess just said only half... either way... seating for 20 please? haha
haha aww yes its a long eppie!! thanks so much!! hehe yes shes getting quite good at knowing her emotions and santa = a sad one haha! So the groups were split in 2 - 20 people 1 week and 20 people another week haha so didn't rock up with 40 people :)
This looks like so much fun! Love the reindeer! Hint for future snowman building success: start with a small snowball, lay it on the ground and roll it around in the snow. Your snowball will turn into a huge ball.
Are you braking mate?! 😂 Thanks for the best trip guys! Truly some of my fave travel memories ever. I’ve wanted to ‘mush’ sled dogs since I was a little kid, absolutely magical!
We went to the same place in January and it was amazing! We stayed in a different place near to the Santa Village and did all the activities! Such a great experience. Great to see your journey. Amazing fun!
Oh man an absolutely 💯 other favorite vlog of mine! Love all the laughs and goggles and that little hunter is so lovely and cute! She is such a character! Lol!
28:15- Fun fact, what's now Wilmington, Delaware, USA had, as its first European settlement, Fort Christina established by the Swedes in 1638 as the capital of the colony New Sweden. Anyway, the very first structure constructed there was a sauna built by a Finnish crewman!
Finnish people got well along with Native Americans unlike Western Europeans, they had same love to nature, silence and they both liked saunas. Finns taught them how to build log houses and thats why some of the "indians" started to build their houses like that.
The Hunter/Santa photo attempt had me in stitches- I was the exact same way with Santas, Easter Bunnies/any mascot when I was her age. Such a trooper though!
So cute. Next time when you want to build a snowman. Make a small ball and roll it like a boulder, this way it’ll pick up snow along the way. You’ll get a big relatively round ball to use for the snowman😉
This looked like such a great trip!! I would love to join you on the next one. I would love to meet you all and hang out with you both, Hunter and the new little guy.!!
The 1 problem tourists have is that they just think Helsinki is the south and that lapland is the winter place but the thing is that most of the country is covered with as much snow as Lapland, for example i live in Central-Finland and we have as much snow as Lapland.
Relaxed on my day off catching up on all of your videos. But your love for the salmon soup dish made me curious. So for dinner I made Lohikeitto Aka "Salmon Soup" I'd say it turned out rather nice
Hey hey! So this Finland one was actually all ages welcome but we think it may have just sold too quickly family’s to book in! The two expeditions we have coming up are 18+ but looking at planning our a family friendly one soon too!
We've been watching for a while now and feel like we are watching friends ♡ would love to go on an expedition someday! Maybe Fiji or French Polynesia?? Anywhere would be amazing!
Hi, any recommendations of the tour or service website you tried for ice dipping? Also, how cold it feels when you were in the water wearing that suit? Thank you so much. I’m planning to go to Finland soon and try all of these
Great video, Finland is truly beautiful like a winter wonderland. I wonder if you will revisit countries in the future like Morocco because you missed some nice spots and I'm sure you missed some in other countries too.
Can you share who you did the swimming activity with? We would love to do this when we are in Rovaniemi next December! (And it seems like everyone else uses the ice breaker activity instead.)
Aww snowman is my goal this next year we have a little girl about hunters age I can’t wait to play I the snow this past year we didn’t get much at all for snow so we didn’t have enough to make a snowman or go sledding or anything 😢but hopefully this next Christmas season we will be able to do all the bucket list winter stuff
Such a lovely vlog! As a Finn I'm just wondering all the time where's the little one's beanie. All the adults have one, and her head is the easiest to freeze. She seems to be doing weel though.
Well, the girls are obsessed with Hunter and I believe everyone is trying to be her favorite. lol Also everyone loves you guys, so it's pretty obvious they all want to be your friends.
Will you have any child friendly expeditions??? We have a daughter born in late 2020 and it would be so much fun to take her on an adventure with you guys :)
Your videos are absolutely amazing I love watching you guys I strive to be parents as good as you we had are first baby boy fab 15 he was suppose to come March 4

This was awesome you guys!
I think you should come to Pennsylvania
I love how Christmas is such a huge thing for u both and Hunter’s scared of Santa 😂😂
There is nothing more beautiful than snowy forest and aurora's lighting the sky.
