Hi, we are Stephen, Jess and little Hunter, a traveling family who spent 2020 self-converting a van before moving in full-time to drive around our home country of Australia. We have now completed our lap, said our goodbyes, and resumed full-time travel before we wait for our second baby to arrive.
Aw guys!! We loved this and miss you all. I’m sure it won’t be long until our next trip 😉

It was so much fun making brand new friends with the Beans plus getting to see Kinging It in their home turf! Hope you all enjoyed our return to Van life and if you did - where else should we do a van trip next year!

The clotted cream and jam situation is heavily debated across the UK, and the answer tends to vary by region. I grew up in Leeds, and for me it has always been jam first, and clotted cream on top.
It seems to be an English north and south divide, no one in Scotland really cares gaha

I’m in the north east and it’s definitely jam then cream…just makes more sense to spread your jam on and then your cream on top 🫠
Love that you spent time together with "the Travel Beans" and got together with "Kinging IT". .. such a fun vlog😊. Hunter is so adorable. I love her helping daddy time!. 🏴 Wales is a fantastic country and hidden gem. I lived and studied there 5 years😊.
Cornish pastys🥟 were TIN miners⚒️ food (tin mines in Cornwall, not coal!). They were down the mines all day. And their lunch was eaten down the mine. The crust was the handle and thrown away because the miners hands were dirty and covered in arsenic which is poisonous.
So happy to see 3 of my favorite couples together. Wales looks beautiful. Have fun. Hugs from Canada.

So I went to college in Upstate NY where it would get super slushy when snow and ice would start to melt and there would be days where I couldn't back my car out of the parking space because of all the slush. So my hack was to always have a bag of cat litter in the car to absorb it all and help provide some traction. It still makes me crack up to this day 🤣

@@flyingthenest My cat's name was Coquine she past away last week she was 19 !. In french it means naughty but in a playfull way !!!! And tell Hunter that I also love legos !!!😉(and I'm 50 !!and learned yesterday that I'm going to be a grandmother)

Youre not missing anything here at home other than the onset of summer, we got 39.4 deg C in the shade here in Rocko yesterday......and fire season started with a vengeance after a dry lightning storm early yesterday morning.....enjoy the cool while you have it guys.

Ohh hunter helping out her dad set up the camp reminds me so much of how I used to help my late dad when we went camping as a family. It’s made me feel a little emotional 😭. I miss him so much. Enjoy every minute of quality time together ❤

I love watching these two beautiful families together.
I’ve been blessed to have many friends around the world from my time on ships. I’ve long said that if the friendships are strong and true, then it doesn’t matter how far apart you are or how much time has passed. It just makes the time you get to spend with one another that much more special.
It also makes me appreciate things like FaceTime, FB Chat, and WhatsApp.
I love it when 2 of my favorite RUclips channels come together. I can't get enough of Hunter's laugh.

I absolutely love the fact that multiple channels that I subscribe to are all friends with each other! Ever since Koa and Noah were born on their respective channels, I always thought how wonderful it would be to see them together. And low and behold!! ❤
My favorite of the Monster Munch is Pickled Onion flavor! Also Prawn Cocktail Crisps from Walkers! I have to order them off of Amazon when I am in the mood for them! Lol

Yet another wonderful interesting happy video. Just loved it. For me jam first as thick as you want and can spread it all over some then the clotted cream on top. Best scones ever were at Two Bridges at Dartmoor Devon. Straight from the oven that day, so delicious.
The best scones are from M&S bakery! Salt and vinegar twists are the best savoury munch....

Alex right about the pasties they would keep them in there pocket and if they would stay warm. My grandmother make some with hamburger, turn up potatoes and carrots, and they are beyond the best. We’re from Michigan and a lot of places in the upper peninsula use gravy on top of theirs but we use ketchup.
I am Canadian however my mother always made welsh cakes. I love them!!

absolutely this Vvlog.... I follow the Beams on utubue love them to bits.......... and yes travelling in the UK roads are so different in OZ.....but you know I love my time travellling the uk and wales............... it was awesome.................... my best place was down in Cornwall, Ioved Weymouth could live therer..................beautiful place.
The traditional Cornish pastie had two ends, one sweet and the other was savoury so it was a meal all in one thing

Unfortunately they don’t which is annoying as I’ve always wanted to try them!!
The ‘Cornish pastie’ was a full meal originally invented for the tin miners that were prevelant in Cornwall, they ate everything apart from the crusts which were thrown to the ‘knockers’ (little elf like creatures that were well known as bad luck) so they didn’t bring bad luck to the miners! In fact it was to keep what they were eating clean as they clearly had dirty hands being miners. The Cornish pasty is now officially protected and you can’t call them Cornish pasties unless made in Cornwall like the Melton Mowbray pork pie etc
My three-year-old son loves watching Hunter. He gets excited and says she’s his friend. And then my one year-old daughter keeps saying baby baby when she sees Koa I started watching you guys when I was pregnant with my son and was pregnant with Hunter. Kids have grown up watching your kids and I love watching this wholesome family. can’t wait for you guys to come to so that Family can meet yours

Awesome video, scones so good with Jam & the CWA ladies confirmed it is jam before cream when I went to their morning tea a few years ago.
Would've been great to travel with the beans as well. I follow & watch their youtube videos too as they have great travel videos like you do, like their tiny Japanese camper van had me in stitches on how tiny it was & they laughing too. I have disability & know I'll never get to travel overseas even though the UK was on my bucket list when I was younger as the beautiful 11th & 12th century thatched wood & white houses I believe be so cool to see but never get there my disability hard to walk long distances. Thank you to you Jess, Steve, Hunter & Koa for showing me the world and the beans too as without your RUclips videos I would never see what different countries would look like.
