At home in London one of my weekly pleasures is watching your video on a Sunday morning. Inspiration to visit Korea.
After a few months planning I arrived in Seoul the Tuesday night the rain began and washed away the cherry blossom 😢
Lesson learned! Never plan a trip around a natural event! Never mind & as my son tells me “It’s an excuse to return to Korea Mum”.

Korea seems like such a colorful place, every seasson you film is full of wonders! It's autumn right now here, and I miss my hometown where trees would get orange, red, yellow and in between. In the city i live for uni they only turn brown and the leaves aren't that crunchy :( also the pastries you eat always look sooo yummy

About wearing a t-shirt in the cold:
I am Scandinavian, and I have taken the trash out while it snows wearing a t-shirt. And waited for someone in a t-shirt. But I usually throw on my thick woolly jacket thing when I know it's gonna be longer than 5 min. I think it is a bit refreshing after being stuck in inside air for a while.
This was super duper wholesome, these weekly vlogs always feel like my relaxing place

The BLOSSOMS! We’re just (barely) getting spring started here in western 🇨🇦 and hitting 15 degree days. No blossoms, flowers or leaves yet 😭 The rainy day though for any ARMY… it’s when we lost some sunshine for 18 months 🐿💜😭 The mood on those days for snow/rain but… going on a trip this week to Vancouver to see Jackson Wang and then Chicago next week for SUGA 🐈💜

I live in San Diego and unless it’s windy overcast/raining in the fall/winter or I’m going to be out late at most I’ll put on a lightweight long sleeve in the morning but generally wear tshirts at all time of the day all times of the year as well.

Thank you!! There are a couple different types of cherry blossoms here but most of them are white! There are some that are a darker pink and usually puffier - in korea theyre called Cup or King cherry blossoms 🥰

@@caricakes it was great! I went to Tokyo, kami Suwa, Narai-kuji, Matsumoto, Kanazawa and Kyoto and then back to Tokyo. I’d say Kyoto is back to what it was. Kiyomizu dera and it’s surroundings was shoulder to shoulder with people, not so bad outside the tourist spots. Tokyo is hard to tell as it’s always busy. Kanazawa at the center was busy. I heard languages from all round the world, it seems like everyone was there.

I highly suggest you upload your videos to a higher resolution, doesn't matter if your camera is not 4K or whatever, as long as your project is set to a higher resolution RUclips will detect that and assign the higher quality options for the video, giving you more bitrate so your video is not destroyed by the awful 1080p compression. Neat trick to get the most quality out of your videos :)

Cari never underestimate the power of a light (wool) cardigan! It is the perfect light wait but warm item to have when you have to power through those chilly mornings! Or a light wait rain jacket, as it can help stave off the weather. They can fold easily into your purse too.

It's the atmosphere, the gentleness and the details I appreciate so much. I've got my bachelor's degree in march and really need some time off to ground myself or even find myself. I split my childhood between florida and southern california but that hoodie experience is exclusive to socal - the range of temps from morning to afternoon in SD was ridiculous and was the bane of my existence as a kid trying to dress in the morning 🤦🏽♀️

As far as the weather... I lived in Florida and we only have two seasons. Summer and Hurricane season. We Floridians don't know how to dress warm for the few hours of cooler temps. Anything below 70 degrees and we are wearing sweaters and jackets just for a few hours. I lived in Jacksonville, so not as hot as Miami.
Now I live in Atlanta for the past year and felt all four seasons for the first time in my life. (I'm 45 years old) So yes, I know what you mean by not really knowing how to dress sometimes.
