As an avid Tangled franchise fan, I clicked this list so fast to see I See the Light too the list since it’s practically one of the greatest songs in the universe!

I actually didn’t know who Jeremy Jordan was before I started this series and the first time I heard Varian sing, my jaw dropped on the very first note. And just like that, I was a Jeremy fan (who has now seen his other stuff)

Thank You!!! At first I was shocked that her mother is the baddest disney mother of all time!! Cassandra really takes after her for sure. I understand Zhan Tiri and Varian, but Cassandra really crosses the line to show her true colors just like her mother did. Heck! They even said the same line!

@@olvialee7221 Cass didn't "show her true colors", she boddled up her emotions and this happened (plus she was manipulated by a demon from folding, which she did almost every time someone talked to her about it. Even *minutes* after her initial transformation she was almost convinced. )
Hearing Ready As I'll Ever Be is what got me to watch Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure and I am so glad I did! It's such an amazing show and I am so sad it's gone

Wish this list would've been just the top songs from the series. Everyone already knows how great the movie soundtrack is, and the series had so many great songs. "Buddy Song" is so fun between Eugene and Lance, as is "Livin' the Dream" with Hook Foot. "Crossing the Line" is great as the music changes from the duet to Cass's solo. The series easily has enough wonderful music for its own list.
Thank you! I know the emotional songs are always big and thematic but The Buddy Song proves that it's perfectly ok for a song to just be fun (also appreciate the normalisation of men being appreciative of and close to one another, even when high af)

kind of dissapointed that "crossing the line" and "bigger than that" didn't make the list... crossing the line in my opinion is definitely somewhere in the top 5 of the show's songs and bigger than that is criminally underrated!! it is so so so good!! both are amazing and should have AT LEAST been honorable mentions....
I'm guessing they didn't include Crossing the Line because they used it in their Top 10 Villain Songs from Animated TV Shows, but I agree that it should have been in here anyway.

Waiting In The Wings, Let Me Make You Proud, Crossing The Line, Ready As I’ll Ever Be and Nothing Left To Lose are my favorites cause Cassandra And Varian are my favorite characters. They are both so relatable and complex. I loved them as good guys but I also LOVED them as villains!

Everything I Ever Thought I Knew is a beautifully crafted song sung by the incredibly talented Zachary Levi, giving him a solo, HIS ONLY SOLO. That being said it should've placed a little higher being in the top 5. This song hits me in the feels every time

Very glad to see that all of Varian’s songs were included on this list. Jeremy Jordan’s vocal performance on this show completely blew me away. Varian is easily my favorite of the show’s singers. Of course everyone on the show is incredibly talented, but I didn’t know who Jeremy Jordan was before this show came out, and to say I was surprised and impressed by his singing voice is an understatement
My favorite “Tangled” song is, without a shadow of a doubt, “Crossing the Line”.
Crossing the Line deserved to be in the honorable mentions at minimum. Otherwise I agree with the list.

I promise it becomes worth slogging through the Disney channel movie & 1st season. It was a wonderful continuation to the original movie and really deserves so much more recognition than it got: with wonderfully talented broadway stars & beautiful music akin to a broadway play as well. The whole show, plus the Disney channel movie that serves as it's first episode is available on Disney+ now so check it out!
Honestly, if you’re not sure if it’s your thing based on the first few episodes skip to Queen for a Day. Then come back and watch the early episodes once you’re hooked.

The reprise for Life After Happily Ever After was definitely the perfect way to wrap up the series (even though afterwards, we got the extra scene where Eugene again proposes to Rapunzel and that time...she finally said, "Yes").

There should have been a video on just Tangled the series. I'm surprised crossing the line, life after happily ever after, with you by my side, and set yourself free didn't make it to the list. I'm sad tangled the series ended. I wish they had another movie and varian and Cassandra were in it.
The only song that wasn't mentioned that I LOVE is "The View From Up Here". Such a fun, freeing song, and an adorable highlight of Rapunzel and Cass' friendship before..... everything else. lol

Tangled is one of my favorite Disney movies. The movie and series really brought some great songs. My personal favorite is "See the Light", it is one of the most romantic songs from Disney and the series.
I agree with most of this list, I think I speak for a lot of Tangled the Series fans when I say WHERE IS “CROSSING THE LINE”.?! It’s not even in the honorable mentions?! It’s a beautiful song and a powerful moment between Cass and Rapunzel as Cass finally tells Rapunzel how she feels.
Other than that, I agree with most picks. Another song I like is “The View from up Here” but I can understand why it didn’t make the list.
Wind in my hair just makes me wanna go out to have an adventure, but I'm in the Kingdom of Corona so I can't lol

This is easily one of my top 3 animated Disney movies. I See The Light always makes me cry, because all I can ever think of is the heartbroken King and Queen that are shown prior to the song starting.

I'm sorry but waiting in the wings deserves to be #1, it has meaning. At first cass is neglected by everyone, and now her song is kinda being neglected
Sure I see the light is a classic, it's iconic. But waiting in the wings is so much more then that. It's deep, sure Disney movies do a good job making bobs but, you only really find true emotion in the tangled the series songs. A son feeling like he is not enough, cassandra feeling rejected by everyone and in the reprise learning thar her own mother rejected her, eugene questioning his own identity, cass finely no longer waiting, rapunzel's mourning for the good old days. Sure songs like let it go and I see the light are bops, but do they really have that much meaning?
Like we have big famous songs like shake it off and let it go but do.we really ever spend time to focus on some lesser known emotional songs like scars (allison irahetta) and waiting in the winga.

The only problem I have with the song is the context - throughout the series Cassandra *is* given chances. One of the main plot points in season 1 is that she wants to be a guard; she wants to make her father proud. And throughout the season, she's given those chances. The Great Expotation, Not in the Mood, Challenge of the Brave, and especially so in the finale when her father appoints her as the one to lead the assault on Old Corona. Yeah, in the moment of the Great Tree with everything that's going on, I think it's fine for Cass to feel this way but flat out saying she's never given chances is just wrong when she got all those chances in S1 and was appointed by King Frederic in a very important mission, being the princesses' protector during their trip in S2.
And 'I See The Light' does have an impactful meaning. It's both Rapunzel and Eugene realizing/having fulfilled their dreams and finding a new one. All their life they've thought their journey/destiny lied in one place but upon meeting one another, everything changes. Eugene sings about Rapunzel opening his heart and expanding his horizons; all those years he lived in a daydream, never seeing things just for the things they were, instead their worth. With her, he sees her for all there is, and the action of himself turning down the satchel because he realizes then that the satchel meant nothing now that he had found this new dream he had been yearning for.

As much as I love Waiting in the wings, I see the light is truly the best song period. It's beautiful and always makes me want to cry. Rapunzel finally feels free from her mother and wants to be with Eugene.

Crossing The Line should’ve made it to at least honourable mentions. It shows how Cass is done being held back by Rapunzel and is following what she believes to be her destiny. Plus the ending note that Eden belts out is just amazing

"Wind in My Hair" gets theme song rights, but hearing it repeatedly probably cost it some popularity. It's not bad, but I always end up skipping the intro.
I am missing crossing the line and the buddy song and would not have ranked when will my life begin so high but I can live with that list 😅
