Forgive my lame editing skills- I really don't try to make videos often, so I don't have much experience. This took a while lol. Made with wevideo and Windows Movie Maker.

imma be honest, i remember my cousin watching ONE ep with varian in it, and after listening to 5300 animatics of ready as i'll ever be, i binge watched all two seasons, then the third. and honestly ive never been so crudding happy to watch a 'kids show'.

Dude it was exactly the same with me, well almost. I watched the warrior cats map “Ready as I’ll ever be” and i thought, “Huh... this is from tangled the series. Might as well search it up.” So i searched up the song on youtube and began too watch. And the MOMENT Varian was on screen, my mouth basically dropped (lol my mom was with me in the room) Even tho i knew he was the villain, i all ready liked him SO much!! I’m tbh so glad i watched it, otherwise I would never had watch Tangled the series.
My two favorite characters in the series were always Cassandra and Varian. Seeing them in a song together immediately made “Nothing Left to Lose” one of my favorites🥰

I have to say the ranking was very agreeable, I wish any song with Lance in it were ranked higher as his songs just add this flare that just makes my heart race. My only other disagreement is that Crossing the Line should have been second to Nothing Left to Lose. Both are equally chilling and harmonious in their own right. I agree that Crossing the Line is it's own Defying Gravity but Nothing Left to Lose hits different when you think of the fact Varian was once in her shoes. He felt this anger and confusion before, he knows the pain she's going through.

@@rosiebrie Through it all was susposed to be longer but they would had to cut out the scene of the cast getting ready for the Marriage scene which happens in the movie which makes that scene more critical then a song. at least everyone sung except for Cassandra. Her part was cut out. here is a piece of it:

@@rosiebrie The Girl who has Everything was meant to show Rapunzel was hiding how she truly felt about Cassandra's betrayal. you can tell that she's trying to be happy but isn't. She's sing to distract herself and deny any feelings she is dealing with.

In that scene where Varian looks back he should have seen Rapunzel frozen in a red crystal It would have shown the fans it is okay to be afraid. and Varian saving the day would have had a bigger impact

He already won multiple Oscar & Grammy awards for his work on the songs & soundtracks on the 90's Disney movies like The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, etc. And he got a Tony for Newsies (Ain't the first time he's worked with Jeremy Jordan lol. Or James Monroe Iglehart (Lance) for that matter...I had the privilege of seeing him as the Genie for the stage production of Aladdin.)

I literally got into TTS because of "ready as I'll ever be" and I got back into it because of " nothing left to lose"
I knew and saw this Tv series thanks to the pilot episode, and I remember that the fact of the rocks enchanted me, because it was something dark and I'd intuited how then it would be talked about light and darkness, a topic that has always been to me very dear, that I feel mine and that I find very deep and philosophical, just as I like it
💜 And you think, although I love the original movie *SO* much, in its entirety I love the Tv series even more!!!

I’m such an oddball for how I got into the series! I had a friend who convinced me, along with the fact that I knew some of the lore(and thought it was solid) and the Cass spoilers, but knew nothing of Varian. Yeah, he turned out to be my favorite.
