No they are not brother and sister Cass is the only child but The captain of the guard is not Eugene’s dad but in season 2 and 3 there is Eugene’s dad

@@aureliaepiphanys8768 I guess though I do find calling Rapunzel and Cassandra sisters a little icky because a) They weren't raised together (Plus they aren't even blood related) and b) Gothel was Rapunzel's Captor and abuser so to say Gothel was a mother to Rapunzel is really disgusting imo.

yeah and also after the wedding after Tangled ever after then it could show rapunzel’s kids they could take them to places they adventured then mother gothel could return but in her spirt trying to dystroy rapunzel , Cassandra and Rapunzel’s children. Then rapunzel and her kids could hit mother Gothel in the head with a frying pan. Then after gothel snaps out of her faint, she locks rapunzel and rapunzel’s kids. Then Cassandra returns and fights her mother until mother gothel surrendered. Then rapunzel and Cassandra could say their goodbyes including her nieces and nephews and ride phdela to continue to find her destiny. That’s my idea for tangled 2

I've never been so sad then when watching Eugene and Rapunzel try and talk Cass down after Cass stabbed them in the back and is trying to force them to fight her. She was my favorite and I loved her humour and her fighting spirit, and thrn she betrayed those sweet babies who cared so much about her because her manipulative mother abandoned her to manipulate rapunzel.

Honestly, blame Zhan Tiri. She was the one who pushed Cass to make basically every dangerous move she made, even when she clearly wanted to stop her pursuits and go back to her friends multiple times across most of the final season.
Welllll, the whole point of the villain arc was Cass feeling left out or like a side character. Which is how she was treated often, even by Rapunzel. It started going downhill especially when Adira came, considering Adira was basically just replacing Cass in the "badass warrior" role.

Cassandra's will to protect Rapunzel at all costs is also quite damaging, specifically with the relationship Rapunzel shares with Eugene.
Because of Cassandra's distrust toward Eugene, the former actively advises Rapunzel to keep secrets from him, which in turn cripples the amount of trust shared between the two; though Cassandra blames Eugene for failing to address Rapunzel's struggles, he can't do so if Rapunzel refuses to be honest with him.
Though Rapunzel is at fault for choosing to keep secrets, Cassandra is also at fault for encouraging the princess' will to do so.
This was addressed in "What the Hair?!".
Ironically, after her betrayal, Cassandra reveals to Rapunzel that she is the untrustworthy one.
