It's kind of scary how relatable Gir can be. He speaks to the unchecked childish id at our core. He appeals to the part of us, however small and buried, that just wants to be dumb, be cute, roll around in our own filth, and eat junk without consequences. Kind of like an immortal kid home alone on endless summer break. Gir is what a lot of us sometimes wish we could be but can't, and don't want to admit.

Gir's mental compacity is worse than the Battle droids from the prequel trilogy.
Gir and the entire show was my favorite for majority of my life and I can do the voice really well because I practiced and watched the show for so long. But it sucks that I had to let a lot of it go because majority of people have 0 personality and life is so atrocious and difficult to navigate that being innocent and naive like this is a big mistake and if you were at one point, you’ve had to readjust and reframe your mind, body and soul. Doing the voices and watching this show was the happiest thing for me, but now making sure I make my bills every month and just get through basic conversations, let alone even be able to express myself this way is all that I hope for and think about.
This is so much more interesting than the new pokemon games. Nintendo should put money into Jhonen Vasquez. They could fund another Invader Zim season and make billions and/or have Jhonen make Video game ideas for them.
