I love this ship, as I admire Beast Boy's determination. Even though Raven hides her feelings, and most of the times physically and mentally hurts him, he never gives up, and appreciates the dark side her while the others don't. Best ship by far!
And ironically, it's her dark side that has beast boy hooked onto her in the first place. His job at trying to get her to smile, or open up, all stems from her dark side intriguing him. He always takes the risk to make her feel included and not alone, even if it means dealing with her sarcasm. In return, you see raven start to take comfort in his presence, allowing him to show signs of affection every so often.
1. She doesnt hide her feelings, she simply cant project them otherwise her powers/demonic side would control her. 2. At first, the team was starting to know each other so they werent able to pick up her moods, but as the show progress and they became a family they were able to pick up Ravens small gestures. Some people show emotions through their actions. 3. Even though she doesnt hang out with the team often (goes off to read or meditate) the team understands her hobbies and likes better or needs space. Its basic relationship knowledgeable of giving a little and receiving a little back. Also some of the episodes literally are about the statements I posted above. Th episode with Star and Rae switching bodies, Star volunteers to mediate with Rae and Rae offers to go shopping. In the episode Nevermore with Rae BB and Cy, BB suggest drinking herbal tea but Rae says breakfast would be fine.
Forgot to add. At first BB did get offended by Raes remarks but again after knowing each other and going through fights, those insults and jokes are just regular banter, BB enjoys it when Rae makes jokes about him, he even agrees when Cy goes to Tower East. 2 yrs old post but I wanted to break down why your comment is blind romance. Yes BB and Rae is a real ship but your comment was not for the right reasons.
Semeki Uzuio And like cyborg said "At least she listens, I just kinda tune you out". As she admitted when they first met, and her happy side admitted in nevermore, she does think he's funny. Maybe not jokes, but more of his behavior. But she does keep an attentive ear, and can even take some of Beast Boys comments to heart (Called creepy in spellbound, or her timid side focusing mostly on how beast boy interacts with her). In the end, it falls into the "Married couple" dynamic David Slacc and Rob Hoegee intended for them to have. A lot of personality clashes, laced with affection.
Semeki Uzuio Semeki Uzuio 1. I think it's debatable. Let's take when Cyborg left the team for example, in the first season. Starfire offered pudding to "ease her troubled mind" she says "My mind is never troubled, people come, people go, it's pointless to feel upset..." I'll stop there. She's giving off the impression that she understands in life, people come then leave, and is at peace with that sentiment. Then you look at "How long is forever", she completely loses her mind from loneliness, and even says something along the lines of "It'll disappear, just like all the others..." basically she hides her fear of losing her friends. 2. I agree, which is why Raven shows affection towards beast boy in a not so conventional way. Through means of protection, or show attentiveness to his jokes by sarcastically replying, even having serious moments and assuring his rage isn't bad and giving advice on How to handle it (Beast Within), or even just allowing him to show affection like when he hugs her (Troq), or wrap his arm around her shoulder (The Prophecy). 3. While true everyone on the team understands her want of personal space, it's beast boy that occasionally invades it mainly cuz she wants her to open up, AND he's curious about her. Hence Nevermore, it was beast boy who insisted on exploring her room, which would then put him into position to help her fight (and give her the formula) and defeat the demon inside of Raven. Or even something as small as discovering her ongoing relationship with malchoir by being a "fly on the wall", or even just finding out what "tomorrow" was (birthday). His persistence has actually benefited raven more than not, and in a sense is why she started developing more as a character.
Crying because Beast Boy actually has such an amazing power and he's so freaking useful and the other four just completely undermine him. Beast Boy is so underrated *le tear*
Thats the thing with jokesters,wildcards,comic reliefs they’re there to make you laugh or have fun they dont really fight or use their powers too their full extent mostly cause they don’t have to but when the situation calls for it when they put their minds to it their totally awesome badasses and that’s why bb is one of my favorite DC characters he’ll always suprise you
@@DragonCrusader23 oh definitely, they tried to show at a few different points in the series he's an extremely formidable fighter, especially when his friend are in trouble. His power would enable him to kill pretty much anyone he fought if he didn't hold back.
Tremor Dusk Well as stated 2 comments above, she hits him out of love. She doesn't express affection conventionally, so she resorts to other ways of doing so. Helping him understand his emotions and learning to embrace em while developing him into a "man", possibly hinting her trying to mold him into someone she would date (Beast Within), protecting him everytime he's in trouble during a fight (If you remember in Nevermore, her Brave emoticon only appeared after Beast Boy was shown to be in danger), being attentive to his jokes and expressing distaste towards them, even tho she hides the fact she thinks he's hilarious etc. She does hug him in spellbound, willingly out of comfort, but you don't see her doing it too often out of fear her emotions would release an insurmountable energy that could hurt Beast Boy. And as she said in Switched, she exclaims "Beast Boy it's me! Don't make me hurt you!", further driving the notion that her hitting him is to be taken as a sign of affection and not abuse, and even a sign of jealousy when Beast Boy constantly talks about attracting his Japanese fan girls.
@@micahfries7878 Some women are weird like that. I know some who say that, but in reality she's doing that cuz she finds a person cute. Not saying she's like that. But when a person finds something cute, it usually sparks aggressive behavior.

9:05 why raven is better than terra. i mean she lets him use it for a while, while using her sarcastic wit. if you recall aftershock, when beast boy does exactly the same thing, she PUNCHES him off...bitch she was....still is imo also, the combo of raven, cyborg, and beast boy was ALWAYS the best...the nevermore episode still remains one of my favorites and the whole "sibling" feeling of those three i can't get enough of...especially in that episode, the "garfield" moment, forces of nature, etc. also, most obvious moment for me is 10:09 when she zooms close to BB like she's jealous or something. haha

It wasn't canceled, it was one of the few shows that actually finished on a high note, when I heard it was coming back I was so excited but then it turned out to be that cartoon trash "go"

Aaron S plus in the Beast Within, his WereBeast form only protects raven, signifying he looks at Raven as a mate, and his territory. He cares about her more than the other Titans, even more than Cyborg imo. And it's vice versa with Raven, cuz she's very protective of him
Well yeah, he's the Titan that she has the strongest bond with, so she's more defensive over him. I mean he is the one who went into her head to help stop her rage, helped her overcome her heartbreak from Malchior, cares about her even if she's creepy, and is protective over her. I mean other than Starfire, he's the only one to really take the initiative to hang out with her.

Yes, Raven did crush on Nightwing in the old comics, but she didn't understand love then & was forcing both Dick & Wally (Kid Flash) to love her against their will. In the comics' original timeline before the New 52 reboot that was so bad that it itself had to mostly be retconned, her only mutual relationship that resulted in anything romantic was with Beast Boy, because, again, she was forcing Dick & Wally to love her against their will which isn't true love, she felt something for Joseph "Jericho" Wilson but the fact that he's Slade "Deathstroke the Terminator" Wilson's son & that her own father Trigon's arrival was imminent put any thoughts of a relationship to bed (especially once Jericho went insane himself after absorbing the corrupted souls of Azarath during the Trigon arc & being inside the mind of his dad during the high point of the Judas Contract which resulted in Tara "Terra" Markov thinking Deathstroke had gone soft/turned face on her - due to the fact that Jericho posessing his father's body forced Slade to strike the geomancer right when the 2 villains had the defeated Titans right where they wanted them - thereby sending Terra into a demented rage fit that saw her attempt to bring down the H.I.V.E compound they were all in, just for her own unstable powers to rebel against her & have the rocks she held aloft give way to quite literally crush her to death, with a distraught Beast Boy pulling her limp body from the rubble so the Titans AND Batman were all seen present at her burial, complete with "Terra: Teen Titan & a True Friend" placard attached to the statue molded to look like her, which was why the cartoon genuinely turned her into said statue in reference to that comic panel because the way she did die was deemed too mentally scarring for the child audience of the cartoon, yet the cartoon still aluded to Slade & Terra's sordidly torrid pedophile family man-meets-jailbait sociopath taboo romance, given Slade's actions & comments concerning his young apprentice before the animated Terra began to show remorse, something her comic counterpart as well as her TTG version & the version from the Judas Contract animated film remake never did, because Terra was created to be a shock value plot device/irredeemable bitch, until newer writers were brought in & went against creator Marv Wolfman's wishes to keep Terra buried because they were among the lovestruck who wanted Terra as a herorine, which led to Terra II - a genetic clone of the original with 3 differing origin stories - and Atlee as a forced 3rd Terra since the brunette wasn't designed to be Terra at all, but DC Comics chief editor Dan Didio mandated it using the "Old Friends, New Faces" tagline promoted at the time) & power-drunk vampire Eric Forrester was the comics equivalent to the cartoon's use of dragon Malchior (who pretended to be the heroic wizard of Raven's book Rorek, who was the one who magically imprisoned Malchior within the book's pages to begin with) as both used Raven emotionally for their own ends (Malchior used her to get free of his book prison, saying the classic line all douche abusers say "Oh, you're not going to cry now, are you? Raven didn't have anymore romantic inclinations until her 3rd life as a burgeoning 16-year-old opposite a now 20-year-old semi-mature Beast Boy starting under the pen of Geoff Johns (the same dude behind the LIVE-ACTION Titans series in-development, so think about that for a second, as we may get LIVE-ACTION BBXRae in that show since he's involved with it & was the one to bring the two together romantically to begin with) shortly before the 2003-2006 cartoon debuted on TV, so in comics & with the show hints assisting to boost the pairing's popularity among fans who weren't even aware of the comic book's existence, GarXRae (or BBXRae) was the only mutual romance the human-demoness hybrid has had in that both parties have felt the same for each other & there was no mind manipulation on Raven's end; This is discounting when Raven's dark side tried to use her hosts feeling's for the changeling to use him as Trigon's new vessel against Raven's will after Trigon was reborn (not unlike how Dark Raven/Evil Raven essentially basically physically & emotionally raped Beast Boy in the 80's/90's comics & brainwashed him into transforming into demonic creatures at her behest, with her favorite targets being an homage to her rivalry with Terra in that her victims of choice were typically doe-eyed blond females who unfortunately bore a passing resemblance to the earth-bending traitor, all of whom were then fed to Beast Boy who was being controlled by Raven's darkness to turn cannibal, including a "Suddenly Seymour" _Little Shop of Horrors_ Audrey the Killer Plant reference) following the arrival of Raven's 6 half-brothers collectively known as The Sons of Trigon, who tried to get their sister to give into her demonic birthright by essentially ripping off 1984's _Ghostbusters_ by having Raven be Gatekeeper to Beast Boy's Keymaster, but a mystical power within a trinket she had gifted to Donna Troy & Beast Boy nearly instantaneously purged her of her demonic essence for a short time during which Raven warned that were she to turn again if her brothers came back, she wasn't to be trusted & against Beast Boy's adamant pleas to the contrary, Raven told her friends that if she did turn again, they would have to kill her - except permanently this time; NO comeback, NO Undertaker-style return, NO religiously influenced resurrection - and to do that, they are to forgo any feelings felt towards her & it was this that she spoke almost exclusively to Beast Boy, although she indirectly said it to everyone on the team, but it clearly meant more for Beast Boy, since she was romantically attracted to him & he for her, so neither wanted this forced separation, just as no DC Comics fan wanted the New 52 reboot, most Teen Titans fans from both the comics, the 2003-2006 cartoon or both have derided _Teen Titans GO!_ for its lack of morals & its shitting on the source material (and yet, maintaining the BBXRae romance has served as a heavy-handed distraction), meanwhile those that do support BBXRae aren't happy about how the more grown-up animated movies have been trying to force their version of Raven NOT voiced by Tara Strong into liking Jason Todd 2.0 jackass Damien Wayne (who can go sod off, since he was basically filling in Jason Todd's spot in the 2018 telefilm remake of Terra's betrayal arc & in comics, he's an insufferable jerk whom most hardcore fans want to see killed, just like they wanted Jason Todd killed in the "Death in the Family" arc years ago, so Damien can go join the League of Shadows like his villain mother Talia Al Ghul, then die, because nobody wants him except deluded RobXRae fans who don't care which Robin gets with Raven so long as it screws up with BBXRae's popularity & completely ignores the actual continuity the characters of Robin & Raven were both each inherently designed to have), even though Nightwing only officially sees Raven as a sister to the point that even animated Robin said in the 2003-2008 TTG comics meant to tie in with the 2003-2006 cartoon that "Raven's like the sister I never had" (thereby proving theirs to be a tight sibling bond), because birthname DickXKori aka comic NightwingXStarfire aka cartoon RobXStar (at least, when he's not banging Barbara "Babs" Gordon alias Batgirl/Oracle in key BAT-verse continuities [crossovers between them, like the "Bad Future" seen on the _TTG_ parody series featuring daddy Nightwing married to Batgirl, notwithstanding], because those working on BAT-related projects don't like those from the _Teen Titans_ / _TTG_ / _TITANS_ staffs shipping Dick Grayson with the Tamaranian princess) and birthname GarXRae aka comic & cartoon BBXRae (also called Raveast, Garchel & Braven by the RBSU [Raven & Beast Boy Shippers United] fan site, the _TITANS_ live-action show and 2021 "Beast Boy Loves Raven" authors Garcia & Piccolo, respectively) are the New Teen Titans canon couples ENDGAME. I like that they never made it official in this show, shows they don't need to but they can hint at it just enough, also love how beast boy only turns into the werebeast when raven is involved
Seve Hynes30 They was probably gonna do it season 6. The hints were getting more refined, and beast boy was gonna finally let go of terra. Hence the last episodes title "Things Change".
Can we all take a moment to talk about how they make fun of beast boy name being Garfield but robin is standing there glad that they don’t know his name is dick
The penny has a deeper symbolism. It's true purpose of the penny is to signify the "married couple" dynamic instilled by the writers David Slacc and Rob Hoegee respectively. Considering the penny has no other purpose, as it didnt do anything to stop the events from transpiring, the penny is meant to be taken as a form of imagery. Beast Boy randomly finds a penny for himself, using it for his own benefit in lucc. He then, randomly gave Raven the penny to transfer his lucc to her. What made that penny mean more, is the fact she held on to it, and even examined it before she submits to her fate. Then they emphasized the penny even more, by showing her drop the penny as she essentially "dies" and becomes the portal. So taking into consideration they were written like a married couple, the penny was reference to the common marriage term "Until death do us part". Mainly depicted as the penny drops, signifying death has come to separate. Which of course, they re unite after. But the penny was used to indicate the bond they have in an affectionate sense.
@Winston Mutenza They did. It was just subtle ("Beast Within" notwithstanding) & not as bluntly obvious. You had to really pay attention to notice. If you meant PDA (physical displays of affection), Raven can't exhibit any strong surge of emotion, because of she did, she could succumb to her demonic heritage & she's probably afraid of hurting Gar worse than she already does. But, I do think the WereBeast could give Trigon's Daughter (Raven in her true demon form) a run for her money, however, it won't. This is because the WereBeast is an instinctive creature (as the changeling's most savagely feral transformation, it exists solely to safeguard its territory, protect its MATE at all costs & probably eventually rut/breed in order to have hybrid offspring in the couple's adult future) & thereby likely understands that, human or demon, Raven is its -- and by extension, Gar's -- MATE, it would find itself at an impasse, because it wouldn't DARE harm its MATE, meanwhile Gar's human side would probably prefer Raven's human half, but doesn't altogether completely shut out her inner darkness, either. Therefore, if Trigon's Daughter willed it, she could make the WereBeast kowtow to her whims like an over sized simpering puppy.
@Winston Mutenza Gar & Rae were written like an old bickering married couple, where their relationship was laced with affection interwoven with personality clashes. Raven's Emoticlones hone in on Gar the most, for instance, since giggling Happy in bubblegum pink likes his jokes (as does Raven prime herself when she & Beast Boy first met in the season 5 team origin flashback episode "GO!"), shy worrywart sad sack Timid in stormy gray (encapsulating Raven's insecure shyness, sadness & fear melded into one) is worried constantly about how Beast Boy perceives Raven when they argue & is likely responsible for Raven sadly retreating into her room after Beast Boy called her - and not just her shadowy powers - creepy in "Spellbound" (thus, showing how the changeling's attitude & behavior deeply affect Raven), Bravery in army tank green only entered the scene when Beast Boy's caught by the two-faced guardian statue in her mind (refer to season 1, episode 6 titled "Nevermore") but is a reflection of how Raven often protects Beast Boy when in battle & even four-eyed Rage in blood red has to tolerate the shapeshifter by allowing him to live & not simply murdering him at first glance, since his annoying persistence often pushes Raven's buttons, thereby loosening Raven's tight control & allowing her (as she's not just Raven's human Anger, but she's also the carrier of Raven's inherent demonic heritage) to "come out & play", even though her "play" is violent, scary & potentially life-threatening. We finally get introduced to Raven's other remaining facets in the 42nd issue of the 2003-2008 tie-in TTG comics, including her adorkable Knowledge (i.e. her Intelligence & her Wisdom) in sunny yellow who's recordkeeper of Raven's memories (both conscious & subconscious), her grungy & pungent Slovenly counterpart in mud brown signifies Raven's more unkempt traits, Slovenly's sister emotion in tangy orange is Raven's loafing Laziness combined with her blunt Rudeness (fittingly, it's this doppelganger that comes up with Raven's sarcastic barbs to counterbalance Gar's cheesy & corny sense of humor as a form of playful banter) & lavender-scented Passion, with cloak to match, is Raven's rarely seen affectionate side & after unintentionally angering the Goth Boy from "Sisters" to put that relationship to bed, the coy Emoticlone ends up flirtatiously teasing a clearly flustered "Beastie Boo" (Passion's 'pet name' for Beast Boy) and per the TTG parody cartoon (2013-present), BBXRae is so obvious, it might cause inadvertent cavities from how sweet the superhero equivalent of _Beauty & the Beast_ are to each other.
I think it's interesting that a good amount of people think Raven is physically abusive to Beast Boy, but they haven't watched the show in years and don't realize she only ever hit him in Trouble In Tokyo. Every other interaction is either them protecting each other or just giving each other angry looks that they don't truly mean. Funny how selective memory works.

I feel like the creators really wanted to do something Romantic with BB&RAE but having romance going on with Robin + Starfire AND Beast Boy + Raven would have been to much and unbalanced. Not to mention Cyborg not having a teammate to date. Plus it was suppose to be a kid type show so a lot of romance wouldn’t have been ideal. At least in teen titans Go they make them a Couple before Robin and Starfire. Just not in the old animation and seriousness of the original show lol :/

5:15 Dude, Beast Boy can talk to animals, that is so overpowered though Edit: Beast Boy is very overpowered, he can turn into any animal on earth, which makes him able to swim, fly, be very fast etc. He can also turn into alien animals and dinosaurs. He can also change in one cell creatures, making him able to get inside of other creatures without them noticing The other Titans should pay more respect to him

Yeah, especially since that black cosplayer doesn't even have a believable relationship with the half demon. I mean it feels straight out of fanfiction, though don't get me started on that Terra wannabe with the Peter Pan shtick going on, like they really had no idea what to do with Beast Boy, but brought him in as he's iconic to the Teen Titans along with Raven.

Starfire offered pudding to "ease her troubled mind" she says "My mind is never troubled, people come, people go, it's pointless to feel upset..." I'll stop there. She's giving off the impression that she understands in life, people come then leave, and is at peace with that sentiment. Then you look at "How long is forever", she completely loses her mind from loneliness, and even says something along the lines of "It'll disappear, just like all the others..." basically she hides her fear of losing her friends.
2. I agree, which is why Raven shows affection towards beast boy in a not so conventional way. Through means of protection, or show attentiveness to his jokes by sarcastically replying, even having serious moments and assuring his rage isn't bad and giving advice on How to handle it (Beast Within), or even just allowing him to show affection like when he hugs her (Troq), or wrap his arm around her shoulder (The Prophecy).
3. While true everyone on the team understands her want of personal space, it's beast boy that occasionally invades it mainly cuz she wants her to open up, AND he's curious about her. Hence Nevermore, it was beast boy who insisted on exploring her room, which would then put him into position to help her fight (and give her the formula) and defeat the demon inside of Raven. Or even something as small as discovering her ongoing relationship with malchoir by being a "fly on the wall", or even just finding out what "tomorrow" was (birthday). His persistence has actually benefited raven more than not, and in a sense is why she started developing more as a character.

Helping him understand his emotions and learning to embrace em while developing him into a "man", possibly hinting her trying to mold him into someone she would date (Beast Within), protecting him everytime he's in trouble during a fight (If you remember in Nevermore, her Brave emoticon only appeared after Beast Boy was shown to be in danger), being attentive to his jokes and expressing distaste towards them, even tho she hides the fact she thinks he's hilarious etc. She does hug him in spellbound, willingly out of comfort, but you don't see her doing it too often out of fear her emotions would release an insurmountable energy that could hurt Beast Boy. Don't make me hurt you!", further driving the notion that her hitting him is to be taken as a sign of affection and not abuse, and even a sign of jealousy when Beast Boy constantly talks about attracting his Japanese fan girls.

The penny has a deeper symbolism. It's true purpose of the penny is to signify the "married couple" dynamic instilled by the writers David Slacc and Rob Hoegee respectively. Considering the penny has no other purpose, as it didnt do anything to stop the events from transpiring, the penny is meant to be taken as a form of imagery. Beast Boy randomly finds a penny for himself, using it for his own benefit in lucc. He then, randomly gave Raven the penny to transfer his lucc to her. What made that penny mean more, is the fact she held on to it, and even examined it before she submits to her fate. Then they emphasized the penny even more, by showing her drop the penny as she essentially "dies" and becomes the portal. So taking into consideration they were written like a married couple, the penny was reference to the common marriage term "Until death do us part". Mainly depicted as the penny drops, signifying death has come to separate. Which of course, they re unite after. But the penny was used to indicate the bond they have in an affectionate sense.

If you meant PDA (physical displays of affection), Raven can't exhibit any strong surge of emotion, because of she did, she could succumb to her demonic heritage & she's probably afraid of hurting Gar worse than she already does.
But, I do think the WereBeast could give Trigon's Daughter (Raven in her true demon form) a run for her money, however, it won't.
This is because the WereBeast is an instinctive creature (as the changeling's most savagely feral transformation, it exists solely to safeguard its territory, protect its MATE at all costs & probably eventually rut/breed in order to have hybrid offspring in the couple's adult future) & thereby likely understands that, human or demon, Raven is its -- and by extension, Gar's -- MATE, it would find itself at an impasse, because it wouldn't DARE harm its MATE, meanwhile Gar's human side would probably prefer Raven's human half, but doesn't altogether completely shut out her inner darkness, either.
Therefore, if Trigon's Daughter willed it, she could make the WereBeast kowtow to her whims like an over sized simpering puppy.

Raven's Emoticlones hone in on Gar the most, for instance, since giggling Happy in bubblegum pink likes his jokes (as does Raven prime herself when she & Beast Boy first met in the season 5 team origin flashback episode "GO!"), shy worrywart sad sack Timid in stormy gray (encapsulating Raven's insecure shyness, sadness & fear melded into one) is worried constantly about how Beast Boy perceives Raven when they argue & is likely responsible for Raven sadly retreating into her room after Beast Boy called her - and not just her shadowy powers - creepy in "Spellbound" (thus, showing how the changeling's attitude & behavior deeply affect Raven), Bravery in army tank green only entered the scene when Beast Boy's caught by the two-faced guardian statue in her mind (refer to season 1, episode 6 titled "Nevermore") but is a reflection of how Raven often protects Beast Boy when in battle & even four-eyed Rage in blood red has to tolerate the shapeshifter by allowing him to live & not simply murdering him at first glance, since his annoying persistence often pushes Raven's buttons, thereby loosening Raven's tight control & allowing her (as she's not just Raven's human Anger, but she's also the carrier of Raven's inherent demonic heritage) to "come out & play", even though her "play" is violent, scary & potentially life-threatening.
We finally get introduced to Raven's other remaining facets in the 42nd issue of the 2003-2008 tie-in TTG comics, including her adorkable Knowledge (i.e. her Intelligence & her Wisdom) in sunny yellow who's recordkeeper of Raven's memories (both conscious & subconscious), her grungy & pungent Slovenly counterpart in mud brown signifies Raven's more unkempt traits, Slovenly's sister emotion in tangy orange is Raven's loafing Laziness combined with her blunt Rudeness (fittingly, it's this doppelganger that comes up with Raven's sarcastic barbs to counterbalance Gar's cheesy & corny sense of humor as a form of playful banter) & lavender-scented Passion, with cloak to match, is Raven's rarely seen affectionate side & after unintentionally angering the Goth Boy from "Sisters" to put that relationship to bed, the coy Emoticlone ends up flirtatiously teasing a clearly flustered "Beastie Boo" (Passion's 'pet name' for Beast Boy) and per the TTG parody cartoon (2013-present), BBXRae is so obvious, it might cause inadvertent cavities from how sweet the superhero equivalent of _Beauty & the Beast_ are to each other.

I think it's interesting that a good amount of people think Raven is physically abusive to Beast Boy, but they haven't watched the show in years and don't realize she only ever hit him in Trouble In Tokyo. Every other interaction is either them protecting each other or just giving each other angry looks that they don't truly mean. Funny how selective memory works.

I feel like the creators really wanted to do something Romantic with BB&RAE but having romance going on with Robin + Starfire AND Beast Boy + Raven would have been to much and unbalanced. Not to mention Cyborg not having a teammate to date. Plus it was suppose to be a kid type show so a lot of romance wouldn’t have been ideal. At least in teen titans Go they make them a Couple before Robin and Starfire. Just not in the old animation and seriousness of the original show lol :/

I love this ship, as I admire Beast boy's determination. Even though Raven hides her feelings, and most of the times physically and mentally hurts him, he never gives up, and appreciates the dark side her while the others don't. Best ship by far!

Yeah, especially since that black cosplayer doesn't even have a believable relationship with the half demon. I mean it feels straight out of fanfiction, though don't get me started on that Terra wannabe with the Peter Pan shtick going on, like they really had no idea what to do with Beast Boy, but brought him in as he's iconic to the Teen Titans along with Raven.
