| TRIP REPORT (english) | Eurowings op. by AirBaltic | Dusseldorf - Milan Malpensa | A220-300 |

Hi there,
today I fly from Dusseldorf to Milan Malpensa in order to go on vacation in the beautiful town of Stresa. I took the plane for this short distance and decided for Eurowings flight EW9824 to MXP onboard the wet-leased A220-300 of AirBaltic. Actually, the plane was the main reason for my decision to take the flight instead of the car. And what should I say: I love the A220-300. The brand new engines are fascinatingly efficient, pretty noiseless and look just perfect. The cabin was very modern and was equipped with those nice monitors, which really are a help in terms of orientation and so on. The flight was on time, booking process was perfect and even security check in DUS was very fast (...and this really should be a signal for a nice flight ;)...). As always, I absolutely recommend Eurowings, also regarding their development in the direction of sustainability with their new A320neos.

If you should have the possibility, I absolutely recommend the A220. But unfortunately there is no enjoyable engine sound besides the nice engine howling. The only disadvantage in my opinion.
